The St. Regis Washington, D.C. is in a great location, with an opulent entrance and friendly welcome from all their staff. This was not my first time at this St. Regis location, so we decided to book a room for one night after a long flight back home. Upon arrival, we were graciously upgraded to the Caroline Astor suite. The suite was more than spacious and had an elegant bathroom with a bathtub. The only thing that I was not too pleased with was the squeaky bed at nighttime. Any movement would make this noise, and it was not the most restful night in the end. Before departing the hotel, I took the initiative to inform the front desk team about the situation with the bed. I wanted to ensure that other guests would not have to experience the same discomfort. While I'm not certain about the level of interest in resolving the issue, I trust that the management will take this feedback into consideration for the comfort of future guests. In the end, I am still thankful to the hotel for its generosity. Although it may have been an isolated issue, I will make sure to return at least for their afternoon tea.
