Wuxi Binhu District 5-star Hotels

We enjoyed our stay here. The suite was huge and really made us comfortable - and being on the 5th floor we had a lovely view too. Breakfast was perfectly adequate - fruit, yoghurt, a few pastries, bread, eggs, bacon, sausages, baked beans, and the usual Chinese fare. The pools and hot springs were lovely too but limited shade at the pools. Because both outdoor pools are completely uncovered, you're swimming in luke warm water by 10am. There is also limited seating - with metal chairs, mostly left in the sun. More shade would make it even better. But the pools are clean and we loved our swimming time. The other thing I found annoying - the hotel is not cheap but you still have to pay an additional fee to rent the floaties - this would be a lovely free thing. Lunch was reasonable - only a limited choice of Chinese dishes. Dumplings and sweet and sour pork were delicious. Dinner was a bit disappointing. Very few dishes available, otherwise only barbecue. The meat offered was quite fatty and overpriced. Beer was well priced but could have been colder. Staff were friendly and helpful although no English, so if you can't speak Chinese, this will make it difficult. We will stay again.

The room layout and facilities are very good and impressive, and the air conditioning is very powerful. The only regret is that the water in the shower is a bit small, which may not be enjoyable for those who like a strong water flow. I got up in the morning and walked around the hotel. It is on the edge of Taihu Lake. It is very quiet and suitable for relaxing. There is also a place to raise peacocks outside the restaurant on the first floor. The little friends like it very much. The master who feeds them is also very nice and explains patiently. The breakfast is very rich, 5-star praise. In general, the stay experience exceeded expectations, and it is worthy of being the first choice hotel in Wuxi. However, we checked in on an off-peak Thursday night. Based on past experience, if you check in on a long holiday or a weekend, it is recommended to lower your expectations appropriately. The service may not be so timely and the price will be different.

There are mixed reviews online, and I was a little worried when I checked in, but the overall feeling is good. From decoration to breakfast to facilities and sanitation, they are all in line with five-star standards. I went to the Longemont Paradise Hotel in Huzhou last year for comparison. The hotel in Wuxi Sunac is much better. It takes about 6-7 minutes to walk from the hotel to the park. What needs to be improved is the service awareness. The overall service awareness of the hotel service staff is worse than that of other excellent hotels (the check-in service staff served with a straight face throughout the process, no questions asked, no words were spared, and room service was delivered only after being urged again and again). , no matter how busy you are during the Spring Festival, you still need to make your customers feel at home. The hotel has a constant-temperature swimming pool (many people choose it, and the water temperature is very comfortable in winter), and a sauna (mostly no one goes there). The hotel is open until 22:00 in the evening, and clearance starts at 21:45. When we came back from the park, the whole family went for a swim and took a shower, then went back to the room and lay down comfortably.

First of all, good service, clean, tidy, and good location. The bad thing is that the hotel's air conditioner is not good, and the temperature can't drop at all. I called the housekeeping department and told me to close the curtains! The temperature is lowered by pulling the curtains? It's so weird. Furthermore, the windows cannot be opened, the room cannot be ventilated, and there is no exhaust pipe in the bathroom. When calling the guest room, it is said to open the door to breathe. The engineer from the engineering department came to see the air conditioner and said that there is general fresh air in the whole building. Why don’t I believe it? If there is fresh air, the fuzz in the room will be covered with remote controls and desks? Breakfast is also average, 98 per person, too few varieties, a bit expensive compared to the price.

1. Ctrip booked the deluxe double bed on 5.2 day, because the deluxe room has the option of (large twin bed) when booking. Considering the convenience of 2 large and 1 small, choose twin bed, but after booking, because there is no twin bed, it will be cancelled on the grounds that the room is full. Called to the hotel to ask, the hotel replied that there was no twin bed, so it was cancelled. As a hotel reservation department, we have never considered communicating and coordinating with our guests. We can’t lose the trust of our customers just because we book a holiday. Because I took my children to Sunac, considering the transportation distance, I chose a superior double room. 2. At check-in, inform the child that the room is still arranged, facing the fire stairway. 3. The hotel buffet restaurant 🍴 used the buffet for the second night. When choosing the seat, it was said that the location was arranged many days in advance. The consideration was all from the restaurant itself; for our out-of-town guests, we can only make reservations on the same day , We take these children into consideration when arranging the location, taking these objective factors into consideration. To sum up, I personally think that in accordance with the standards of high-end hotels, it is necessary to improve service awareness!

Thanks to guest service manager Lulu for upgrading us to lake view, which gave us a particularly good view. When checking in, I was kindly reminded that the temperature in the south-facing room would be higher. In fact, the temperature is very suitable if the air conditioner is turned off and the windows are opened. I also contacted the guest room and sent a thin quilt in the evening. I have never had such a comfortable rest. The service in the hotel is really home-like, and every employee is very enthusiastic.

I had a good experience staying at this hotel this time. The location of the hotel is very advantageous. There is a subway station just outside the hotel door. It is very convenient to go to attractions. The parking lot is in the square in front of the hotel. The front desk staff Pan Hui and Xu Ziying did their job well, the service was attentive, and the check-in speed was very fast👍The room was cleaned very clean, and the breakfast variety was not rich and needs to be improved.

The breakfast category is abundant and parking is very convenient. This time I brought children to stay for a few days. The hotel also specially prepared children's toothbrushes and slippers. The reception attitude of the younger brothers and sisters at the front desk was very good. Also, I want to praise the waiter on the tenth floor when Qian Xue saw me change it when cleaning I didn’t wash the socks, so I washed them and put them on the air. We only booked 1 night to explore the city. Upon arrival the reception told us we have to go do a PCR test (although we had a valid 24hr test when checking in). We went from one testing site to another, nowhere could they help us because we weren’t registered living in Wuxi. Then they told us we don’t need a test because we are leaving again the next day. We spent our whole day looking for a PCR testing site - didn’t get to do anything else. Rooms were good, just extremely hot. Even when you turn the airconditioner on, the room was about 26 degrees the whole time.

The hotel is in a scenic location and very close to the Wuxi lake and Lingshan Buddha, the local food was great and the staff were very friendly. There were a few downsides, the all-day dining restaurant was closed, the restaurants in the village closed very early and very few staff spoke English or even knew who to direct us to for help. The staff however, after a few mistakes, went out of their way to help us and resolve some of the issues. The gentleman working at the pool area was great, the swimming pool and billiard room were awesome. The village had many shows throughout the day, many cafes and a lot of cute cats that were really friendly.
