"Stumbled upon this hotel, saw the price was good, so I booked it. Only found out upon check-in that this is the tallest building in Wuxi. The subway station is right downstairs, and Xiao Lou Alley is just across the street. Getting around is super convenient. The hotel's ground-floor entrance isn't very obvious; I walked around a bit before finding it and initially thought it was an office building lobby. I went in and asked, and that's when I learned the hotel's front desk is on the 43rd floor. Taking the express elevator made my ears pop a bit. The room was great, the view was nice, and it was clean. The complimentary soft drinks from the minibar for Trip.com members and the welcome fruit from the hotel were a thoughtful touch. I had read reviews mentioning poor soundproofing and was worried it might affect my sleep, but it turned out to be very quiet. Check-out was also very fast; I just handed in the room card and left. Overall, it was a very good experience. I'd definitely stay here again."

"The hotel's location is a bit small, and parking can be a hassle, though the staff did help guide us. Now for the complaints: First, there's absolutely no artificial greenery or landscaping as advertised. The subway construction outside is very loud, and the soundproofing in the room is terrible! Also, the 'afternoon tea' is just some tea bags for you to brew yourself – no cakes or anything like that. The room key card next to it shows how tiny it all is. Honestly, they shouldn't even bother offering it!"

Upon arrival, I immediately felt comfortable. The overall environment is clean and tidy, decorated in a cozy yet stylish way. The space is spacious and bright, without any clutter or oppressive feeling. The cleanliness is exceptional; even the corners are spotless, making a great first impression. You can tell a lot of thought went into both the facility layout and the atmosphere, making it very relaxing to be in, with absolutely no discomfort. The service was even more impressive. The staff were gentle, warm, and polite, always patient and meticulous, ready to answer any questions, and quick to respond. They weren't overly enthusiastic nor cold and indifferent, striking the perfect balance. They proactively helped solve problems, were responsible and considerate of customers at every turn, taking care of many small details that made me feel valued and respected. The entire communication process was smooth, and the experience was excellent; the service alone made it worth every penny. The value for money is also outstanding. Both the price and quality are well worth the cost, with no hidden fees or gimmicks. They genuinely focus on service and reputation. Among similar establishments, this one stands out in both hardware and software. The advantages are clear when comparing, truly delivering excellent value for money. Overall, this was a very pleasant, worry-free, and satisfying experience with no complaints whatsoever – smooth and comfortable throughout. You can tell the owner is serious about their work and genuinely cares for every guest, which is truly rare. "The hotel is visibly a bit old, and a little far from the subway station, so it's more suitable if you're driving. However, the garage exit is outside the hotel, and you have to report your license plate every time you enter or exit. It's quite close to the attractions though, with a museum directly across the street. The room was a bit dim, but otherwise quite comfortable. Rooms with a river view are better; the other side faces a construction site. The executive lounge was very crowded, and breakfast was also very busy, with a rather average selection."

"I chose to stay at the Wuxi Taihu Hotel this time specifically because it's a well-established, state-owned hotel. Not only is the environment beautiful, but it also boasts a rich history and cultural heritage – you could even call it a garden. The staff were courteous, warm, and attentive. There's a variety of restaurants for guests to choose from. For lunch, I opted for the quiet Jichangxuan, where the waitress was lovely and even offered me some local specialty snacks to try. In the evening, I had a light meal at the cafe, and the desserts were exquisitely made and delicious. On the third day, I rented a sightseeing electric tricycle from the hotel to enjoy the beautiful scenery around the property. The only downside was that the tricycle was a bit unreliable; it got locked up three times along the way, possibly because I went outside the set boundaries. I had to abandon it and return it right there, which was quite a challenge for an old motorcycle rider like me. Luckily, I caught the hotel's sightseeing cart and was able to fully appreciate the park's beautiful surroundings."

"Unexpected Culinary Delight at a Quiet Retreat! My friend and I visited Wuxi last week and specifically chose the Junlai Lakeside Hotel. I was initially looking for a quiet place away from the crowds, and it turned out to be incredibly worthwhile! The location is excellent, offering a peaceful escape right next to Liyuan Garden. You can enjoy the beautiful lake and mountain views without the throngs of people, making for a wonderfully relaxing stroll. But what truly surprised me was the food – it's an absolute foodie paradise! Let's start with breakfast. You can practically try all the Wuxi specialties in one place, like xiaolongbao (soup dumplings), wontons, tofu pudding, osmanthus taro, and gluten puffs. Everything was fresh and authentic. I ate it for two days straight and didn't want to stop; it saved me the hassle of queuing up in the city center. For dinner, we had the buffet, which happened to be Xiamen-themed. The seafood was very fresh, and the Xiamen specialties were plentiful and high-quality. The price was reasonable, offering great value for money! I highly recommend the afternoon tea at Yue Bar on the 9th floor – it's an absolute must-visit for photos! Located high up, the views are unparalleled. You get a panoramic vista of Liyuan Garden, and it's fantastic for taking pictures (my WeChat Moments exploded with likes!). The afternoon tea quality is excellent, with delicate pastries. Combined with the stunning scenery, it's perfect for a get-together with friends. My only minor regret is that the hotel has some age to it, so it's not the trendiest, but it's well-maintained, and the rooms are clean and tidy, which didn't detract from the overall experience. The convenient location made sightseeing easy, but the best part was definitely the food! The breakfast was super comprehensive, dinner was abundant, and the afternoon tea was both delicious and photogenic. Highly recommend for travelers who love good food and great photos!"
