Hotels in Huishan Scenic Spot, Wuxi

The hotel is right inside the scenic area, making it incredibly convenient to visit Jichang Garden, the ancestral temple, Yingyue Pavilion, and more! The hotel is newly opened with a thoughtful design. Rooms in Building 9 are relatively larger, and the bedding is especially comfortable! All the hotel staff have excellent service attitudes; they proactively greet guests. The front desk lady even helped us upgrade our room, which we greatly appreciate! All in all, it was a very pleasant stay! We'll definitely stay here again on our next visit!

The first room on the 8th floor had a noisy water heater right above it, constantly buzzing. We switched to a second room, but the bedroom light couldn't be turned off with the smart assistant or the switch unless we pulled out the key card. The third room we got had a window that wouldn't close properly, and the main door couldn't be double-locked. Also, the shower water wasn't consistently hot; it would suddenly get a bit cold. Breakfast selection was limited, typical of a budget hotel. Overall, a poor experience. I wouldn't recommend it.

First of all, the staff were very friendly and helpful, giving me directions. The cleaning lady greeted me warmly, and the young lady at the restaurant proactively came to collect my meal ticket. Overall, the service was excellent! However, the cleanliness was just so-so. There was a clump of hair from a previous guest (judging by the amount of hair, it belonged to a woman) on the bathroom drain—not just a few strands, but a whole roll. There was also clutter in the locker. Secondly, after showering, there was a constant dripping sound from the bathroom for over half an hour, making it impossible for me to sleep. The breakfast, as shown in the picture, frankly, didn't offer a very extensive selection.

Friendly front desk staffs, ordered delivery and was sent to my room via a robot, when I fell asleep, they took good care of my belongings and passed it to me. Front desk would also give a simple greeting whenever you walk across the lobby. Convenient location, delicious food and near the shopping mall. Hot water was instantaneous and does not require any waiting time, overall a very good experience.

During the Spring Festival, I traveled to Wuxi with my family and chose this newly opened five-star hotel under the Accor group. The hotel's location is conveniently close to scenic spots such as Huishan Ancient Town and Yuantouzhu. 1. Hotel Facilities: The underground parking lot has dedicated hotel parking spaces, making parking very convenient. The Hitachi high-speed elevators are fast and comfortable. The hotel's theme is Wuxi clay dolls (Fuwa), which complements the green wave glazed wall in the lobby, blending intangible cultural heritage with modern hotel style. I'm grateful to the front desk for the upgrade to a suite; the double bathroom design was very convenient. The room features a simple European style with elegant colors, electrically controlled curtains, and a smart speaker. The only drawback is the lack of a smart toilet, but the inclusion of a Laifen high-speed hairdryer somewhat makes up for it. 2. Hotel Service: The receptionists were very professional and dedicated. During our stay, we encountered an elderly gentleman who seemed to be a security guard; he was very polite. In general, every staff member in the guest rooms and lobby area was very welcoming. Special thanks to the two beautiful restaurant staff, Manager Yu (Yu Yajie) and Ms. Ma (Ma Hanyu), for their high-quality service and the delicious food. 3. Hotel Entertainment: The heated swimming pool on the 6th floor had a more comfortable water temperature than a certain InterContinental hotel near Wuxi, but the pool was slightly small and there were steps leading from the changing rooms. The gym was well-equipped and comfortable, with air conditioning at a comfortable temperature for fitness enthusiasts. Due to time constraints, I didn't check out other entertainment options. My stay at the Grand Mercure Hotel was very good, and the room soundproofing was excellent. As a consumer who prefers hotel vacations, I have a few suggestions that I hope the hotel will consider: First, perhaps I missed it, but it seemed like the concierge staff was insufficient; I didn't see any greeters from check-in to check-out. Second, given its high-end positioning, could the amenities in the rooms, such as toiletries and drinking water, be improved? Third, a complimentary minibar for the first stay would have been more upscale. If delivery services couldn't bring water into the hotel during the stay, could a temporary area be provided? It's inconvenient for guests rushing down from the shower to retrieve their orders. I hope these improvements can be made for my next stay.

Multiple stays, Facilities are OK. Next time you come here, it will be the first. Extremely satisfied with my stay! The hotel boasts luxurious decor, impeccable cleanliness, and very comfortable bedding. The soundproofing was excellent, and the breakfast was delicious and plentiful. A big shoutout to the staff who promptly informed us about an item we left behind during check-out, making it easy for us to retrieve it. Thumbs up! 👍

The hotel has a great location, right across the street from the ancient town, and it's right next to subway station number 4. There seem to be plenty of parking spaces next time I drive, making it convenient to return after exploring in the evening. The facilities are a bit old, but that's not a big problem. The shower water pressure is great, and the service is quite friendly. There's also a restaurant downstairs where you can order à la carte.
