Hotels in Taihu Yuantouzhu/Liyuan Scenic Area, Wuxi

This is truly a fantastic hotel, feeling almost entirely surrounded by greenery. They proactively offered us an upgrade, though I decided to stick with my original booking. The staff were warm, friendly, and accommodating, letting me choose the room that I felt had the best geomancy and suited me best. Xiao Bin's coordination and service were simply superb. When I'm back in Wuxi for business, I'll definitely choose this kind of hotel again. Right outside the door are the former estates of historical dignitaries—after all, we chose the exact same prime location as the nobility. Having a 4A-level scenic area right next door is just an amazing feeling. Thumbs up! The hotel also provided complimentary sightseeing cart tickets, and the driver instantly gave us such a wonderful impression of Wuxi. You'd think he was specially trained by the hotel as a welcome ambassador, enthusiastically introducing nearby attractions and great spots to visit. Because of this hotel and the people I met right outside my door, a business trip made me feel exceptionally happy.

The room was clean and spacious with complete facilities. The self-service coffee was delicious. The late check-out until 2 PM was very convenient for families with children. This is our go-to place every time we visit Wuxi. Very satisfied! 👍

My first stay at the Taihu Hotel in Wuxi completely blew me away! Surrounded by lush trees, singing birds, and fragrant flowers, the scenery is breathtaking, with the hotel buildings nestled within a massive forest park. The lobby is magnificent, grand, and luxurious! The front desk staff were warm and attentive, thoughtfully arranging our room. The guest room and bathroom are exceptionally spacious, clean, tidy, and equipped with fully functional, high-quality amenities. The bedding was comfortable and pristine. The hotel's buffet breakfast was exquisite and delicious, showcasing local Wuxi flavors. All the staff members proactively and warmly greeted us, patiently answering all our questions. The swimming pool is fantastic, and parking is very convenient! All in all, the Taihu Hotel is perfect for family road trips and relaxing getaways for seniors. Getting a taxi from the hotel is also a breeze! It truly lives up to its reputation as Wuxi's state guesthouse!

The hotel is conveniently located on Taihu Avenue Sports Center, offering easy access and stunning views of Wuxi Taihu Lake and the city. Nearby, the Vientiane Hui commercial center provides a rich array of dining options, and on a nice day, it's not a long walk to the shores of Taihu Lake. The hotel features an Italian restaurant, a Chinese restaurant, a conference center, and a fitness area on floors 6 and below. The executive lounge is located on the 36th floor. The guest rooms are spacious with thick carpets, and the glass curtain walls offer pleasant views of the lake and mountains. The bathroom area is quite large, with a separate bathtub and shower. However, the lack of a door for the toilet inside is a bit unexpected. The mattress is medium firm, and the pillows are fluffy. Breakfast is served on the 2nd floor and is quite extensive. During the Mid-Autumn Festival, mooncakes were provided, along with local Wuxi xiaolongbao. Compared to the traditional sweet and savory red soup version, these have been改良 (improved), with reduced sweetness and more filling. The service was warm and attentive. Doran at the front desk enthusiastically provided detailed information about all the hotel's facilities and proactively communicated to understand our needs before check-in, resulting in a very satisfying stay.

I came to Wuxi to see the cherry blossoms, and while this place was a bit far from the public transport connections (I didn't pay close enough attention when booking), the hotel itself was quite good. The room was spacious, and the facilities were pretty comprehensive. Plus, there's a McDonald's nearby!

Came here for a National Day getaway. We stayed at the Lakeside Hotel right next door the night before, and by comparison, this place is much better. Even though both are by the lake, the facilities at Wuxi Marriott Hotel Lihu Lake are so much newer. The lobby is also much grander with a strong artistic vibe, and it smells wonderful. The room amenities are comfortable, clean, and hygienic, plus there's an oversized bathtub which makes for a great soak. Randy, the receptionist who checked us in, was very polite and kindly upgraded us to a lake-view room, offering panoramic views of the stunning Lihu Lake right from our room. Finally, I'd like to thank Wuxi Marriott Hotel Lihu Lake once again for the warm hospitality. We will definitely be back.

The environment was quiet and comfortable. Front desk staff Xiao Qiaowen was very warm and welcoming, making for a fantastic overall experience.

The front desk staff and the cleaning lady were both very nice, and the bedding was clean. Facilities: Outdated. The bedside outlets didn't work, and the other outlets were poorly placed. The indoor lighting was also quite bad.

The hotel has just opened, the whole is quite new, the front desk is very warm, the details are in place, the staff are basically young people, the service is very thoughtful, the room is quite big and clean. The hotel is equipped with free parking, parking is very convenient, but the hotel location is around the car 4s store, there are no shops and places to eat around, eating to run far, if you don't buy breakfast, it will be a bit inconvenient.
