"Stumbled upon this hotel, saw the price was good, so I booked it. Only found out upon check-in that this is the tallest building in Wuxi. The subway station is right downstairs, and Xiao Lou Alley is just across the street. Getting around is super convenient. The hotel's ground-floor entrance isn't very obvious; I walked around a bit before finding it and initially thought it was an office building lobby. I went in and asked, and that's when I learned the hotel's front desk is on the 43rd floor. Taking the express elevator made my ears pop a bit. The room was great, the view was nice, and it was clean. The complimentary soft drinks from the minibar for Trip.com members and the welcome fruit from the hotel were a thoughtful touch. I had read reviews mentioning poor soundproofing and was worried it might affect my sleep, but it turned out to be very quiet. Check-out was also very fast; I just handed in the room card and left. Overall, it was a very good experience. I'd definitely stay here again."

They weren't overly enthusiastic nor cold and indifferent, striking the perfect balance. They proactively helped solve problems, were responsible and considerate of customers at every turn, taking care of many small details that made me feel valued and respected. The entire communication process was smooth, and the experience was excellent; the service alone made it worth every penny. The value for money is also outstanding. Both the price and quality are well worth the cost, with no hidden fees or gimmicks. They genuinely focus on service and reputation. Among similar establishments, this one stands out in both hardware and software. The advantages are clear when comparing, truly delivering excellent value for money. Overall, this was a very pleasant, worry-free, and satisfying experience with no complaints whatsoever – smooth and comfortable throughout. You can tell the owner is serious about their work and genuinely cares for every guest, which is truly rare. I will prioritize staying here in the future and will sincerely recommend it to my family, friends, and colleagues. Good businesses deserve to be seen by more people. "I chose to stay at the Wuxi Taihu Hotel this time specifically because it's a well-established, state-owned hotel. Not only is the environment beautiful, but it also boasts a rich history and cultural heritage – you could even call it a garden. The staff were courteous, warm, and attentive. There's a variety of restaurants for guests to choose from. For lunch, I opted for the quiet Jichangxuan, where the waitress was lovely and even offered me some local specialty snacks to try. In the evening, I had a light meal at the cafe, and the desserts were exquisitely made and delicious. On the third day, I rented a sightseeing electric tricycle from the hotel to enjoy the beautiful scenery around the property. The only downside was that the tricycle was a bit unreliable; it got locked up three times along the way, possibly because I went outside the set boundaries. I had to abandon it and return it right there, which was quite a challenge for an old motorcycle rider like me. Luckily, I caught the hotel's sightseeing cart and was able to fully appreciate the park's beautiful surroundings."

"The hotel is super convenient to get to – just turn right after exiting Sanyang Plaza Station (Subway Line 1, Exit 11A) and it’s a short walk away. If you're staying for a longer period, I recommend the executive suite. It's very spacious and comes with a fully equipped kitchen, essential cooking utensils, and a washer/dryer. At night, you can enjoy panoramic views of Wuxi city."

"Unexpected Culinary Delight at a Quiet Retreat! My friend and I visited Wuxi last week and specifically chose the Junlai Lakeside Hotel. I was initially looking for a quiet place away from the crowds, and it turned out to be incredibly worthwhile! The location is excellent, offering a peaceful escape right next to Liyuan Garden. You can enjoy the beautiful lake and mountain views without the throngs of people, making for a wonderfully relaxing stroll. But what truly surprised me was the food – it's an absolute foodie paradise! Let's start with breakfast. You can practically try all the Wuxi specialties in one place, like xiaolongbao (soup dumplings), wontons, tofu pudding, osmanthus taro, and gluten puffs. Everything was fresh and authentic. I ate it for two days straight and didn't want to stop; it saved me the hassle of queuing up in the city center. For dinner, we had the buffet, which happened to be Xiamen-themed. The seafood was very fresh, and the Xiamen specialties were plentiful and high-quality. The price was reasonable, offering great value for money! I highly recommend the afternoon tea at Yue Bar on the 9th floor – it's an absolute must-visit for photos! Located high up, the views are unparalleled. You get a panoramic vista of Liyuan Garden, and it's fantastic for taking pictures (my WeChat Moments exploded with likes!). The afternoon tea quality is excellent, with delicate pastries. Combined with the stunning scenery, it's perfect for a get-together with friends. My only minor regret is that the hotel has some age to it, so it's not the trendiest, but it's well-maintained, and the rooms are clean and tidy, which didn't detract from the overall experience. The convenient location made sightseeing easy, but the best part was definitely the food! The breakfast was super comprehensive, dinner was abundant, and the afternoon tea was both delicious and photogenic. Highly recommend for travelers who love good food and great photos!"

"The hotel's location is a bit small, and parking can be a hassle, though the staff did help guide us. Now for the complaints: First, there's absolutely no artificial greenery or landscaping as advertised. The subway construction outside is very loud, and the soundproofing in the room is terrible! Also, the 'afternoon tea' is just some tea bags for you to brew yourself – no cakes or anything like that. The room key card next to it shows how tiny it all is. Honestly, they shouldn't even bother offering it!"

"Way better than I expected, the hotel is clean and tidy, no smoke smell and it was quiet all night, love it! I can recommend this hotel to sensitive people, breakfast was ok, do not expect 5 star for what you paid, it’s enough to make you full and have a nice cup of unlimited coffee, price is also very good for the room&service I received, it is walking distance from Nanchan temple and Nanchang Food street, 2 stops away from Wuxi Railway station Line 1, the hotel is 8 minutes walk from Sanyang Station Line 1🥰"

"The hotel's location is superb, right by the Dingsheng Bridge in Helong, Nanchang Street, with beautiful night views. There are plenty of great restaurants and shops nearby, perfect for strolling, eating, and relaxing. The room facilities, cleanliness, and service were all excellent. My only regret is not getting a room with a true courtyard view; instead, I faced two rows of electric scooters and a fenced-off construction site. I hope to have another chance to make up for it next time!"
