This was my favorite hotel on our ten-day trip around Taihu Lake. It boasts an exquisite, secluded style, emphasizing a return to simplicity without the need for smart technology. There are no TVs in the rooms, and the curtains are all manual, with keyless entry. But every step was filled with breathtaking beauty. The service was exceptional. The housekeeper asked for our arrival time in advance. We parked in the parking lot and took the electric cart up the mountain. However, since my mother had mobility issues, the cart took us directly to the elevator and even assigned us the room closest to the elevator. The housekeepers were incredibly kind and friendly, smiling every time they greeted us. Since we were staying for several days, we decided to skip housekeeping, so we hung a sign saying ”no housekeeping required.” The housekeepers waited at the door until the housekeeper confirmed we needed towels changed and items replenished. They were incredibly attentive and responsible. The afternoon tea was exquisite, and every dessert was delicious. We didn't want to waste any, so we devoured all three desserts each day. The next day, we were too lazy to go downstairs to the restaurant, so the housekeeper even brought them to our room. The room also included tickets to the Yixing Ceramics Museum, which you could spend a whole day exploring. Besides the history of ceramics and collections from different dynasties, the room also boasts a beautiful museum. There are also numerous works and manuscripts by Gu Jingzhou, which are well worth a visit. However, the museum is quite old, and only one side has an elevator. Some sections require walking up and down stairs, making it difficult for those with mobility issues. During osmanthus season, the fragrance of osmanthus fills the air. Nearby, at the entrance to Longbei Mountain, there are dark-colored osmanthus trees, which are incredibly fragrant. Conversely, at the windy Tao Erchang, apart from the UCCA building and a handmade jewelry shop by an independent designer, everything else exudes an internet celebrity vibe and a cheap feel. It took me five minutes to explore. The only downside to the hotel is the small rooms. I think there are 17 rooms, averaging around 40 to 50 square meters, but it certainly didn't feel cramped. Even when the hotel is full, it's still quiet, perhaps influenced by the surroundings, preventing noise. I'll definitely be back.

The biggest highlight is that most rooms feature floor-to-ceiling windows offering panoramic views and balconies with stunning terraces/balconies, allowing guests to fully appreciate the beauty of the lake, mountains, or courtyard. Some rooms even include a private hot spring bath, instantly elevating the experience. 3. Attentive Service and Abundant Experiences • Excellent Service: From booking confirmation to check-in and check-out, the service team is warm, meticulous, and responsive. They provide personalized services to meet individual needs, making guests feel right at home. • Abundant Activities: The hotel offers a variety of activities, including tea ceremony, handicrafts (such as pottery), cycling, and hiking. The ”Secret Realm” exploration route, in particular, guides guests to discover the hidden beauty of the surrounding area and is very popular. • Family-Friendly: The hotel features a children's playground, play area, and family activities, making it an excellent choice for family trips. 4. Thoughtful Dining • Local Ingredients: Breakfast and lunch/dining focus on using local seasonal ingredients, especially fresh fish from Yunhu Lake, which is incredibly delicious. • Exquisite Flavors: The dishes are beautifully presented, with flavors that blend local specialties with more accessible options, offering authentic Yixing cuisine. 5. Overall Experience and Reputation Guests generally consider this a secluded paradise resort hotel, perfectly balancing design, nature, and vacation vibes. Whether it's a romantic getaway for couples, a family vacation, a small gathering with friends, or a company team-building event, there's a suitable way to relax. Although the price is on the higher side, most reviews consider it well worth the cost for its environment, design, service, and overall experience. Some Tips: • Due to its natural setting, mosquito repellent is recommended in summer. • Some areas of the hotel may have many steps; those carrying large luggage or with mobility issues should contact the hotel in advance for assistance. • Due to its popularity, especially on holidays and weekends, early booking is advised. In summary, Yixing West Bank Huangchuan Hotel has become one of the most highly regarded high-end resort hotels in Yixing and even the Yangtze River Delta region, thanks to its secluded yet accessible location, artistic design, guest rooms with direct views of the mountains and water, meticulous service, and immersive natural experience.

The overall environment and facilities are pretty good, definitely commendable. The staff provided quality service even during the Spring Festival, which is great. The only minor drawback is that the hotel's hardware is a bit old; the air conditioning unit is quite bulky, and when the bathroom's ceiling and wall lights are on at the same time, there's a noticeable and jarring electrical buzzing sound. I hope they can improve this in the future. The kids' play area is fantastic. Overall, it's worth recommending.

Five-star review! Yixing Kiln Resort is truly unique, with a strong purple clay culture atmosphere. Yueyue's service was attentive and thoughtful, making for a great experience. The guest rooms are bright and clean. The shuttle bus to and from the scenic area is very convenient, and the breakfast is rich and varied. You can even try pottery making in the purple clay experience classroom. The environment is quiet and comfortable – it’s a top choice for a short getaway and offers excellent value for money! The hotel is luxurious, and the rooms are incredibly spacious. It's the most comfortable triple room I've ever stayed in, perfect for traveling with a child. Every corner offers a beautiful view, great for photos. There's a wide variety of activities to choose from. The dedicated shuttle service to Yaohu Town is very convenient. It was too hot to explore the town during the day in summer, so we only rode the small train, but the evening water show and fireworks display were definitely worth seeing.

The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. The bathroom had a great wet-dry separation, felt very roomy, and the smart toilet was a really thoughtful touch. The 1.35m single bed was not only generously sized but also incredibly comfortable – for the first time ever, I didn't wake up with a sore back after staying in a hotel. Right in front of the hotel is a large lawn, and the surrounding area is a wetland park, offering an excellent ecological environment. At night, it was simply 'quiet.' The hotel hallways were also very wide, and the staff were all incredibly enthusiastic and helpful, always ready to answer any questions. The subway station is conveniently located near the hotel, making getting around super easy. Bonus: There's a complimentary shuttle service to Jinkui Park for cherry blossom viewing if you book in advance! 🌸

An Unforgettable Luxury Stay at Wuxi Nianhuawan! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the elegance and tranquility of this hotel. The property is immaculately clean, and the attention to detail in every corner reflects true luxury. A special thank you to Yu Canping, whose warm welcome and impeccable service made us feel like VIPs from the very first minute. Her hospitality truly set the tone for a perfect stay. The buffet dinner and breakfast were superb—without a doubt the best we’ve ever had at any hotel. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. We also loved every moment of the night performance—it was magical! Strolling through the streets, browsing local crafts, and picking up unique gifts added so much charm to the experience. And the scenery? Absolutely breathtaking. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful, luxurious escape with top-tier service. We can’t wait to return!

The hotel lobby is elegant and upscale. My check-in experience was very good. The welcome ambassador, Anna, provided warm and thoughtful service. She proactively contacted me to ask about my room preferences, which was a very nice touch. Thumbs up! 👍

As a family traveling with children, our stay here was excellent and exceeded our expectations in terms of value for money! 1. **Room Experience**: The room was spacious and comfortable, incredibly family-friendly. It was even larger than we anticipated, with separate living and sleeping areas that gave our kids and elderly parents plenty of room to move around without feeling cramped. They even set up a children's toiletries set in advance. 2. **Service Experience**: Throughout our stay, whether it was inquiries at the front desk or room service requests, the response was always very prompt. The staff were enthusiastic yet professional, and they would actively greet our child. 3. The hotel pool staff were also very attentive. If they noticed a child engaging in risky behavior, they would patiently intervene and also explain why, which the children seemed to understand well.

This hotel was the best one we stayed at during our trip to Wuxi. It's one of Accor's better properties. The rooms are very spacious, and while some are conversions of old residences, the renovation is exceptionally new. During the May Day holiday, there was a buy-one-get-one-free offer for the buffet, and the food was incredibly exquisite. I even saw the F&B manager discussing the ideal temperature for the smoked fish with the chef, which showed great dedication. The marinated dishes were particularly authentic. Plus, the hotel is right in the ancient town, with several direct access points to the scenic area.

Wuxi Nianhua Bay Lianhua Bay Inn Review I stayed at Wuxi Nianhua Bay Lianhua Bay Inn during the cherry blossom season, and my overall experience was great. The inn generously upgraded our room for free, which came with a large balcony overlooking the main street of the scenic area – the view was absolutely fantastic. Upon entering the park, electric carts are available to transport guests and their luggage directly to the inn's doorstep, making the entire process effortless. The inn manager was very kind and even helped us carry our luggage up to the second floor. The room decor was minimalist, and while the facilities weren't brand new, the value for money was perfectly acceptable for the price. The inn boasts an excellent location right on the scenic area's main street. It's a two-minute walk to Nianhua Tower and another two minutes to the performance pool, making it incredibly convenient for catching shows. In fact, it was even more convenient than the Duo Luomi Hotel within the scenic area. However, I did encounter a minor issue: the staff's knowledge about the scenic area's attractions wasn't very detailed. When we asked about the best spots for viewing cherry blossoms, the manager could only give us a general area, not precise directions. On a rainy day, when we inquired about the drone show schedule, they only mentioned a risk of cancellation and advised us to scan a QR code for details. The next day, we asked a different manager about the cherry blossoms in Luming Valley, and they frankly admitted they had never been there and couldn't answer, only suggesting we take the small train. I had assumed the inn could help reserve tickets for the small train, but we were told tickets had to be purchased at the station after 9 AM. We spent two hours enjoying the cherry blossoms first, only to arrive at the station at 9 AM and find ticketing hadn't started yet. The ticket booth didn't open until 10 AM, and tickets weren't actually distributed until 10:30 AM. Thankfully, we eventually got on the small train to Luming Valley, and the experience was surprisingly delightful. It was filled with birdsong and floral fragrance, with very few tourists, allowing us to almost have the entire cherry blossom forest to ourselves. Enjoying the scenery with wind chimes and birdsong created a unique and tranquil atmosphere that you wouldn't find at more popular spots. Overall, the manager's service attitude was good, but their professional knowledge regarding the scenic area's attractions was lacking, which felt a bit confusing. Moreover, most staff members in the scenic area provided imprecise directions. I hope they can improve this through further training. Putting that aside, both the inn and the scenic area are well worth experiencing. The cherry blossoms are breathtaking, and the atmosphere is serene and peaceful. Although I missed the drone show that day, the other live performances were spectacular. The accommodation package included admission to the scenic area, offering excellent value for money. My overall stay was very satisfying.
