My stay here was absolutely fantastic! The front desk staff were so welcoming and professional; check-in and check-out were super quick, and they patiently answered all my questions – really thoughtful service. The room was spotless, the bedding comfortable, and the whole space was clean and bright, making for a very relaxing stay. The hotel's location is also excellent, with tons of great food options nearby, from snacks to full meals, making it easy to find something delicious. It's quiet and peaceful, creating a comfortable atmosphere, and the value for money is outstanding. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time!

I have to give full marks to the front desk at this Hanting hotel! The service was professional and incredibly warm, they answered every question, and their efficiency was top-notch. The hotel's location is superb, just a 2-minute walk to Nanchan Temple Metro Station, making it super convenient for getting around and sightseeing. The room was clean and tidy, and the value for money is outstanding. Highly recommend!

Amenities: The hotel has complete facilities, with a refrigerator and stove all in one. Hygiene: This is a common issue with serviced apartments – the air conditioning vents had a fair amount of dust, and there were some blind spots for cleaning in the corners. Service: The service was excellent. The butler was very responsive to our requests and even helped us store our luggage. Overall, the good points outweighed the minor flaws. Recommended.

I think the hotel is ok, internet was ok and rooms ok for China, the best is the breakfast. About no smoking rule they should be more strict instead of stimulation with ash trays and being complacent as most of hotels. It''s 2025, time to be civilized, and allowing guests to smoke in the breakfast, rooms and reception is absolutely unacceptable. I understand people in China smoke like last day of their lifes, but this it not normal for me, smoking is considered dirty, a weakness and bad habit in my country. I recommend the hotel to be more strict on smoking rules, a problem that every accomodation has in China, also due the lack of respect for its Chinese guests, and also they could improve the laundry area, not enough for the whole hotel and not really clean. I believe if everyone demands hotels in China to be strict about smoking 🚬 rules eventually China will evolve and adapt, then people that don't smoke wont be forced to be passive smoke and stuff health issues.

On February 15th, our first day, we arrived at the hotel around 9 PM after visiting Nianhua Bay. To my surprise, there were no rooms left except for one right by the elevator. Initially, I was a bit unhappy because when I booked the two-day stay, I specifically requested a room away from the elevator, quiet, and non-smoking. However, Ms. Ren at the front desk was very friendly and kept apologizing, assuring us that if a room became available the next day, she would move us immediately. Since it was Chinese New Year, I reluctantly accepted. Ms. Ren then sent some fruit as a further apology. After one night, perhaps because it was the New Year period, the entire hotel was actually quite quiet. The room type was also decent, perfectly sufficient for three adults without feeling crowded. Because the room was good and the service was excellent, we extended our stay for another two days. Ms. Zhang at the front desk was also very helpful, greeting us proactively every day. Through our conversations, we learned that the hotel's entire team had changed. The hotel's buffet breakfast was also alright; it had the basic offerings, though the food variety didn't change much. Overall, the Ji Hotel at Wuxi Sanyang Plaza is a good choice and I recommend it. I had seen quite a few negative reviews online before, which made me a bit apprehensive. But my experience during this Spring Festival stay was very positive. 👍 I would definitely stay here again if I have the chance.

We stayed here as a couple for a short visit, and overall it was a solid, budget-friendly option with good value for money. The room was generally clean, OK but nothing outstanding. One thing worth mentioning is the linen condition: the towels were clean and usable, but a couple had small holes from wear, and the bed sheets had a few light stains. It wasn’t a big issue for us, but if you’re very picky about spotless linens, it might bother you. Hopefully the hotel can improve this. Location-wise, it worked fine for what we needed, but it’s not close to tourist attractions or particularly interesting spots, honestly, we picked it mainly because it was affordable. We slept well, but keep in mind there’s construction across the street. The windows help, but you can still hear some noise in the morning, so if you’re hoping to sleep in, it could be a downside. In general: a comfortable, economical stay with decent cleanliness and good value, with a few small improvements needed.

The front desk lady was quite welcoming and patient, but here are some complaints. On our first day, the hotel's cleanliness left much to be desired. First, the tea leaves from the previous guest were still in the teapot, still warm (though we didn't use them, leaving them on the coffee table was a bit unacceptable). Second, the cups in the room hadn't been cleaned, with obvious stains from the previous guest's coffee or tea still dried on the sides (we usually bring our own cups, but we inevitably used them, which was quite disconcerting). I thought they'd be checked and cleaned the next day, but they still weren't. After our two-day stay, the room wasn't even cleaned or replaced after cleaning on the second day. Luckily, we brought our own, otherwise it would have been embarrassing to find out there was no paper when we went to the bathroom. 😅 Since the hotel also caters to restaurants, leaving the windows open after check-in is not recommended. There's a restaurant next door, which is loud with music during the day and smells of cooking smoke. My personal recommendation is that if you're traveling by car to Yixing, choose a hotel close to the city center. Most scenic spots are in the suburbs, and you'll need to take a taxi or drive anyway. There's no need to choose a suburban location for a one-time visit. Eating out is also inconvenient, and you'll usually have to drive over 20 minutes to the city center. The city center is more convenient for those who travel back and forth.

Initial plan was to stay at the Orange hotel near Wuxi railway station but was fully booked so stayed here instead. But it turn out to be a blessing in disguise. This location is so convenient. There is a family mart next to the hotel, the Metro entrance is next to the hotel, there are many great eateries within 2-5min walk away from the hotel. Inside the family mart, you have access to excellent coffee 24hrs. In the morning, there's also warm soya milk drink. The room itself has an outdoor area where I can smoke while taking a break from work. With this outdoor area, the bedroom remains smoke free. Simply excellent. The city view faces the sanyang plaza area where the brightly-lit buildings spruce up the quiet of the night. The buffet breakfast has a good spread of simple local and western dishes which make excellent breakfast! This hotel is simply great value for money!

As a parent with a crawling baby, cleanliness is of utmost importance, and I was impressed by how well-maintained and spotless the hotel was. The rooms were tidy, and the hotel provided all the necessary amenities, including clean towels, hair dryers, toothpaste, and soap. I particularly loved the fact that our room had a balcony. It was a perfect spot to unwind in the evenings. I appreciated the option to close the curtains and enjoy the balcony while our daughter slept peacefully inside. The hotel's location was convenient, with two nearby stations providing easy access to Shanghai. The staff even provided helpful directions and recommendations, such as the address of a nearby supermarket when we needed to buy supplies. Despite being a smaller hotel, the quality of service surpassed my expectations. The staff's ability to communicate in English was a definite advantage for us as foreigners, making our stay even more comfortable. In terms of dining, the food at the hotel was satisfactory, offering a regular Chinese menu. I particularly enjoyed their noodles, and the friendly service with a smile made the dining experience even more enjoyable. Overall, I had a fantastic stay at. The combination of excellent service, cleanliness, and helpful staff made it a memorable experience. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, reliable, and friendly place to stay.

A newly opened hotel in October, the price is very good. There were mosquitoes at night. After fighting mosquitoes all night, the hotel took the initiative to upgrade our room. Will stay here next time! Convenient transportation!
