"For all you folks planning your annual cherry blossom trip to Wuxi, you absolutely *must* visit Yuantouzhu (Turtle Head Isle) and stay at Sakura Villa. It perfectly embodies the saying 'a waterside pavilion gets the moonlight first,' meaning you get the best of it! You can get free admission to Yuantouzhu, enjoy cherry blossom views right from your room, and step out directly into the Cherry Blossom Valley. You'll see so many cherry blossoms you'll get 'aesthetic fatigue,' haha! The hotel's breakfast noodles are quite good, and for lunch, they offer a '3 white' set meal – a good option if you don't feel like venturing out on a rainy day.
Key point: Traffic control for entering and exiting the Yuantouzhu scenic area is very strict. During the day, food delivery services aren't allowed inside; deliveries will be left with the guard at the Dushan gate entrance. You'll have to walk 1km yourself to pick them up, or arrange with the hotel front desk for a shuttle to collect it for you. Ride-sharing services and taxis face the same restrictions; it seems they can only enter after 9 PM with prior notification. If you're heading to Ling Shan, I recommend leaving before 7 AM, otherwise, it'll take at least half an hour just to get out of Bogong Island.
Also, enjoying cherry blossoms really depends on the weather. This year, the prime viewing period was limited from March 31st to April 4th. After just one storm, half the blossoms were gone, and the crowds were absolutely massive.
If you're going to Wuyun Yaju for dinner, be aware that the scenic area gate near the Health Hotel will close. On your way back, *do not* follow Baidu Maps through Jiusong Pavilion to that side; you'll hit a closed gate and waste at least 20 minutes (Baidu Maps led me astray, Gaode Maps is more accurate). Check the last three pictures for yourself to understand what I mean."

The rooms are clean and spacious, the bedding is comfortable, and the service is warm and professional. A special shout-out to Caroline at the front desk for her exceptionally warm and friendly attitude, and the housekeeping was very responsive. The cleanliness was spot on. ③ I had average expectations for breakfast based on other reviews, but it was actually a pleasant surprise and very good.
④ The ancient town has nice scenery, but the river water quality is only so-so, which slightly detracts from the overall experience.
⑤ Since the hotel itself is a scenic spot, rooms facing the street can be a bit noisy during the day, while rooms by the river are very quiet.
⑥ The mini-bar is automatically refilled and complimentary for repeat stays.
Overall, I was very satisfied with this stay!

Breakfast was typical Holiday Inn fare, with hot food and noodles, plus convenient to-go coffee cups, which was a nice touch. The front desk staff were all very friendly and helpful; check-in and check-out were both quick. The hotel is right next to MixC World and Metro Line 4, making it super convenient for getting around.

DDidadidahaThis time I stayed at the Ruiding Hotel. It's located within a park by Lake Lihu in Wuxi. However, since it's at a road intersection, the room was a bit noisy with a lot of traffic. But the service and the room itself were good 😌. Butler Fanfan provided excellent service, tracking everything from contacting us before arrival to book tickets, arranging the room before check-in, and sending thoughtful greetings during our stay. The whole service was very meticulous. Wuxi's cherry blossoms 🌸 are beautiful, but there were so many people. The weather in late March was perfect for a trip. I'll probably choose this place again for future cherry blossom viewing. Recommended!

MManbingquantangAlthough I only stayed for two nights, it was definitely a very satisfying trip. I sincerely recommend that you stay in the mountains when you come to Yixing. The air is very fresh. Elderly people say that breathing fresh air relieves their throat discomfort a lot.
The hotel's service is very enthusiastic. From the first day of check-in, the room was upgraded for free and the impression was very good. The staff were very enthusiastic. The elder was not used to sleeping on soft pillows and thick quilts, so he immediately replaced them with summer thin quilts and buckwheat pillows after the communication the next day.
Because there was no takeout available in the city, and I was too lazy to go out to find a farmhouse, I had dinner at the hotel. I ordered hot pepper tofu for two days in a row. The tofu in the mountains didn’t have any beany smell at all, and I was very happy with it. Free yogurt was also given in the evening. Before leaving, I was also given special black rice.
Another major feature of the hotel is the hot spring, which is also very comfortable. Because I went out to play in the morning and soaked in the evening for two consecutive days, the fatigue of the day was relieved.

This stay at Yixing New Century Grand Hotel is perfect, impressive from details to service!
Environment and facilities: The hotel is elegantly designed, the lobby is full of art, the rooms are spacious and bright, the bedding is comfortable, the bathroom is separated into wet and dry areas, and the supplies are complete. I especially like the floor-to-ceiling windows, which allow you to take in the beautiful city. The air conditioner is silent, and you can sleep well without being disturbed.
Service quality: The front desk staff is enthusiastic and professional. They quickly checked in and upgraded the room type. The room response speed is very fast, and an extra set of towels is delivered within 5 minutes. The snacks for the night bed service every day are even more surprising!

GGuest UserThe breakfast was quite good, with a decent variety and quality that I really enjoyed. However, it might have been due to a holiday, but there was no one to seat us in the breakfast area. We basically had to find and grab tables ourselves, which made for a rather chaotic experience.
The high-floor city view was indeed fantastic, offering a panoramic outlook. Plus, being right above a shopping mall made it incredibly convenient for shopping, dining, and getting around. I had specifically requested a king-size bed when booking to make it easier with my child, and the hotel arranged it as requested, which was a thoughtful touch.
However, staying with a child presented a few inconveniences: it was difficult for one person to pick up takeout with a child, as the hotel doesn't offer room delivery for external food. I had to go down twice by elevator to retrieve it myself, which was quite a hassle. The elevators were also rather slow, and during peak hours, we waited for a long time. As for amenities, only children's slippers and toothbrushes were provided; no children's toiletries, which was inconvenient.
On a positive note, Kevin Chen from the concierge team deserves praise. His service attitude was excellent, and he was very proactive in helping with any requests, which made me feel very comfortable.

From pre-arrival communication to check-out, the butler responded very promptly, and their attitude was kind and professional. Any requests, such as needing extra towels or drinking water, were met with quick responses and properly handled by both the butler and housekeeping staff.
The overall room environment was very comfortable, and the room's hygiene was excellent! The floors, tabletops, and bathroom were spotless. The window let in a lot of natural light, making the entire room bright and airy with an expansive view, which really boosted my mood.
Front desk check-in was efficient, and they even provided a complimentary room upgrade to a higher floor with a more beautiful view.
Overall, the hotel service was great, and I had a very pleasant stay!

I stayed at Wuxi Nianhua Bay Lianhua Bay Inn during the cherry blossom season, and my overall experience was great. The inn generously upgraded our room for free, which came with a large balcony overlooking the main street of the scenic area – the view was absolutely fantastic.
Upon entering the park, electric carts are available to transport guests and their luggage directly to the inn's doorstep, making the entire process effortless. The inn manager was very kind and even helped us carry our luggage up to the second floor. The room decor was minimalist, and while the facilities weren't brand new, the value for money was perfectly acceptable for the price.
The inn boasts an excellent location right on the scenic area's main street. It's a two-minute walk to Nianhua Tower and another two minutes to the performance pool, making it incredibly convenient for catching shows. In fact, it was even more convenient than the Duo Luomi Hotel within the scenic area.
However, I did encounter a minor issue: the staff's knowledge about the scenic area's attractions wasn't very detailed. When we asked about the best spots for viewing cherry blossoms, the manager could only give us a general area, not precise directions. On a rainy day, when we inquired about the drone show schedule, they only mentioned a risk of cancellation and advised us to scan a QR code for details. The next day, we asked a different manager about the cherry blossoms in Luming Valley, and they frankly admitted they had never been there and couldn't answer, only suggesting we take the small train.
I had assumed the inn could help reserve tickets for the small train, but we were told tickets had to be purchased at the station after 9 AM. We spent two hours enjoying the cherry blossoms first, only to arrive at the station at 9 AM and find ticketing hadn't started yet. The ticket booth didn't open until 10 AM, and tickets weren't actually distributed until 10:30 AM. Thankfully, we eventually got on the small train to Luming Valley, and the experience was surprisingly delightful. It was filled with birdsong and floral fragrance, with very few tourists, allowing us to almost have the entire cherry blossom forest to ourselves. Enjoying the scenery with wind chimes and birdsong created a unique and tranquil atmosphere that you wouldn't find at more popular spots.
Overall, the manager's service attitude was good, but their professional knowledge regarding the scenic area's attractions was lacking, which felt a bit confusing. Moreover, most staff members in the scenic area provided imprecise directions. I hope they can improve this through further training.
Putting that aside, both the inn and the scenic area are well worth experiencing. The cherry blossoms are breathtaking, and the atmosphere is serene and peaceful. Although I missed the drone show that day, the other live performances were spectacular. The accommodation package included admission to the scenic area, offering excellent value for money. My overall stay was very satisfying.

NNongnongtudouniThis time the boss upgraded me to the second phase, and I and my friend's family enjoyed a villa and private bath. The boss is really nice. The environment is beautiful and clean. The room is also clean. The bath water is large and the temperature is comfortable. The air conditioning in the room is powerful. In addition to the private bath, there is a bathtub on the first floor for bathing. Overall, it is very comfortable and cozy. The private bath came on time at 7 o'clock to waterproof. I soaked in the drizzle for almost an hour. Dinner is also worth recommending. It was very delicious and I had two meals. The sauerkraut and pork intestines and lotus root dumplings were surprising. They were at the level of a big chef and a big hotel. It is not easy for the kitchen of a homestay to have this level. There is no pre-prepared food to fool people. The ingredients are real. 👍 Finally, there is the festive atmosphere. Many guests brought their dogs, and we set off fireworks together at night. It was a very unforgettable trip~
