Wuxi Hotels with Balcony

We booked two separate nights, fearing our child might have a last-minute class. Fortunately, they didn't, so we spent the two nights at Chunshan without worrying about the crowds. We mostly stayed at the hotel, eating, drinking, and exploring. The hotel's food was excellent, and the free snacks in the refrigerator were delicious, especially the white pepper cookies. They were so good I couldn't resist searching on Taobao and immediately ordered dozens of them. The front desk and restaurant staff were very welcoming, and the housekeeping was responsive. The turndown service was excellent and attentive, including eye masks and earplugs. After checking out, we sat in the tea room for a while, and the waiter asked us where we had put the two afternoon tea spoons in the room. They said they had lost them when housekeeping was done. We were a little confused, as they should have been on the plates. The child said they'd peeled an orange after eating the cake, so perhaps the peel had covered them? A little later, the waiter confirmed they'd found the two spoons in the room. The room attendant could have done a thorough search instead of asking the guest first, which seemed rather abrupt. So, a little more attention to detail would have been even better. However, the flaws outweigh the merits, and overall, I really liked Spring Hill. My two children rated it slightly worse than the Ritz-Carlton Hideaway, but about on par with Aman, which is a very high rating.

The overall environment and facilities are pretty good, definitely commendable. The staff provided quality service even during the Spring Festival, which is great. The only minor drawback is that the hotel's hardware is a bit old; the air conditioning unit is quite bulky, and when the bathroom's ceiling and wall lights are on at the same time, there's a noticeable and jarring electrical buzzing sound. I hope they can improve this in the future. The kids' play area is fantastic. Overall, it's worth recommending.

Xiao Liu, the inn owner, is extremely polite, helpful, friendly, and reliable. The place is very comfortable, reasonably priced, and in a great location. All the staff were genuinely warm and welcoming. We loved the place so much and truly regretted staying for only one night. From the moment we arrived, we didn’t feel like strangers at all—it felt like being with family. Everyone treated us with sincerity and went out of their way to help. Xiao Liu patiently answered all our questions and even drove us to buy fireworks. He waited for us and later joined us to play the fireworks at night, even though we had already checked out. He kindly allowed us to leave our large luggage with him during the day, which we really appreciated. The place is exactly as shown in the photos—no overly edited pictures with disappointing reality. Everything was authentic and exceeded our expectations. We also enjoyed a hotpot dinner at the inn, and it was fresh and delicious. The food is truly a must-try, including their coffee. Everything was excellent, with no doubts about quality. I sincerely hope to have the opportunity to visit Wuxi again. I will definitely recommend this place to friends and family, as well as 德福楼, the restaurant recommended by Xiao Liu. The food there is authentic, delicious, and truly represents Wuxi cuisine. They also helped us with tickets to the Lingshan Big Buddha. Honestly, we couldn’t have asked for more—the restaurant owner assisted us with the entrance tickets, and a tour guide even drove us to Lingshan Big Buddha and guided us there, all without any extra charges. Everyone was incredibly kind and generous. If you plan to buy joss sticks and candles, there’s a shop right beside the restaurant with very reasonable prices—absolutely no regrets. Thank you, Xiao Liu, for your outstanding hospitality. It’s such a pity we didn’t have enough time to visit your sister’s café, but we would love to visit again next time.

My stay here was absolutely fantastic! The front desk staff were so welcoming and professional; check-in and check-out were super quick, and they patiently answered all my questions – really thoughtful service. The room was spotless, the bedding comfortable, and the whole space was clean and bright, making for a very relaxing stay. The hotel's location is also excellent, with tons of great food options nearby, from snacks to full meals, making it easy to find something delicious. It's quiet and peaceful, creating a comfortable atmosphere, and the value for money is outstanding. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time!

I saw online that the hotel had a garden and a pool, but when I arrived, the pool wasn't open. I asked the front desk and they said it wouldn't open until July, which was a bit disappointing. The hotel lobby had a garden-like style, and there's a shuttle service, which is great for people without a car. The room was generally clean, and there was a free Hanfu experience. The small garden was perfect for photos, and it was very quiet at night. The breakfast was also good. When I checked out, the front desk even asked if I wanted a bottle of water for the road. Overall, the price was reasonable, and the service was good. I'd definitely come back if I have the chance.

Came to Wuxi for a business trip and some relaxation, and stayed at the Snow Wave Songpin Hotel. The overall experience exceeded my expectations, definitely a five-star review! First, the environment. The hotel has a new Chinese garden style, with pavilions, waterside platforms, and beautiful scenery at every step, full of Jiangnan charm. The room was very spacious, and the courtyard view offered great privacy. Overall, it was a very comfortable stay. The most commendable aspect was our butler, Helen! From pre-check-in communication to check-out, Helen was incredibly attentive and thoughtful. She proactively arranged airport pickup and check-in before our arrival, and upon reaching the hotel, she took the initiative to introduce the hotel facilities and nearby attractions. Any requests I had during my stay were met with an almost instant response via WeChat. Her responsiveness and service awareness were exceptional. At check-out, she even thoughtfully presented a farewell gift, which was a lovely gesture. Regarding other facilities, the breakfast offered a rich variety, and the Wuxi xiaolongbao and Aozhao noodles were quite authentic. The hotel's location right next to Sunac Land made it very convenient to visit Sunac Mall for shopping and dining. In summary, I will definitely stay here again next time I visit Wuxi and will recommend it to my friends. Helen's service was truly the highlight of the entire stay. This is my second time staying at the Lokas Hotel Wuxi. I first came when it just opened, and the room types are fantastic. The two-bedroom suite is spacious and comes with an induction hob, microwave, fridge, and a washing machine with a dryer, perfect for a longer stay. The location is great, not far from Nanchang Street and Nanchansi Temple. If it's too hot during the day, you can swim in the hotel's pool, which has good water quality and isn't crowded. Xiao Zhang (who seemed like a manager) handled my check-in with a great attitude. He also told me where breakfast was and the quicker way to get to the serviced apartments. When I checked out, he even gave me a lovely fridge magnet. Although the breakfast selection isn't huge, everything tastes delicious. I finally tried the famous fried fish noodles, and there's a small sesame ball that's also very tasty with lots of sesame filling. The juice isn't watered down either, and the waitstaff clear tables very efficiently. All the staff I encountered had excellent attitudes, and the cleaning ladies would greet you too. I'll definitely stay at Lokas again when I come to Wuxi!

The front desk lady was quite welcoming and patient, but here are some complaints. On our first day, the hotel's cleanliness left much to be desired. First, the tea leaves from the previous guest were still in the teapot, still warm (though we didn't use them, leaving them on the coffee table was a bit unacceptable). Second, the cups in the room hadn't been cleaned, with obvious stains from the previous guest's coffee or tea still dried on the sides (we usually bring our own cups, but we inevitably used them, which was quite disconcerting). I thought they'd be checked and cleaned the next day, but they still weren't. After our two-day stay, the room wasn't even cleaned or replaced after cleaning on the second day. Luckily, we brought our own, otherwise it would have been embarrassing to find out there was no paper when we went to the bathroom. 😅 Since the hotel also caters to restaurants, leaving the windows open after check-in is not recommended. There's a restaurant next door, which is loud with music during the day and smells of cooking smoke. My personal recommendation is that if you're traveling by car to Yixing, choose a hotel close to the city center. Most scenic spots are in the suburbs, and you'll need to take a taxi or drive anyway. There's no need to choose a suburban location for a one-time visit. Eating out is also inconvenient, and you'll usually have to drive over 20 minutes to the city center. The city center is more convenient for those who travel back and forth.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at and I must say it was a delightful experience. The hotel staff was exceptionally kind, reliable, and accommodating. They went out of their way to assist me, even after I had checked out. Their level of service and responsiveness truly exceeded my expectations. One of the key highlights for me was the hotel's cleanliness. As a parent with a crawling baby, cleanliness is of utmost importance, and I was impressed by how well-maintained and spotless the hotel was. The rooms were tidy, and the hotel provided all the necessary amenities, including clean towels, hair dryers, toothpaste, and soap. I particularly loved the fact that our room had a balcony. It was a perfect spot to unwind in the evenings. I appreciated the option to close the curtains and enjoy the balcony while our daughter slept peacefully inside. The hotel's location was convenient, with two nearby stations providing easy access to Shanghai. The staff even provided helpful directions and recommendations, such as the address of a nearby supermarket when we needed to buy supplies. Despite being a smaller hotel, the quality of service surpassed my expectations. The staff's ability to communicate in English was a definite advantage for us as foreigners, making our stay even more comfortable. In terms of dining, the food at the hotel was satisfactory, offering a regular Chinese menu. I particularly enjoyed their noodles, and the friendly service with a smile made the dining experience even more enjoyable. Overall, I had a fantastic stay at. The combination of excellent service, cleanliness, and helpful staff made it a memorable experience. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, reliable, and friendly place to stay.

Got downgraded and the downgrade was justified as an ”upgrade” ,I suggest the property clearly states that they do not accept black people on their property to avoid such interactions! . I booked a room on the 4th floor but the lady at the reception gave me a room on the second floor. I went downstairs again to confirm she gave me the wrong room providing pictures of the room I booked but she kept insisting that there are no such rooms on the property, she insisted they do not exist on the property and rooms on the 4th floor don't look nice. I insisted she put me on the 4th floor like my booking. All to find out she was lying. The rooms were much nicer! Spacious and with a beautiful view. I don't understand such behavior. Very disappointed!
