"I stayed at Suning Galaxy for a business trip, and Freya, my personal butler, was professional, reliable, and incredibly efficient, making everything seamless. Her attention to detail was truly heartwarming. The hotel's location is excellent, with complete amenities, and it's quiet and comfortable to stay in. It has become my go-to place whenever I visit Wuxi."

"The location is fantastic, within walking distance to Nanfang Street. The hotel isn't right on the main road, which makes it wonderfully quiet at night. And the room design! It's so stylish and really gave me some ideas for remodeling small spaces, LOL. The space utilization is brilliant! It has everything you could need: a mini-bar, a bathtub, a coffee machine, and a safe, hahahaha. Breakfast was great too! :)"

"I booked this hotel for a marathon, and it was right at the finish line, so I could head straight to my room to shower and rest after the race. They even started breakfast early at 4:30 AM and offered a shuttle service to the starting line, which was incredibly convenient. If the race is held here again next year, I'd definitely book this hotel again. Sia at the front desk also provided great service."

"My sister has been taking Go grading exams in Jiangsu since she started, eventually getting to 4-dan, all in Wuxi. Every time she came for an exam, we stayed at the Intercontinental. The first four times, she almost always got promoted with seven consecutive wins, so we always said Wuxi and the Intercontinental were her lucky charms. But since last year, it seems the magic has worn off. She's tried twice now for her 5-dan in Wuxi and hasn't passed either time. This trip, we still stayed at the Intercontinental. I booked a two-night package on Ctrip for 999 RMB, including breakfast for two. When checking in, the front desk gave us drink vouchers and a small welcome gift: a bottle of sparkling water and a small box of cookies. My sister said the cookies were delicious. On the first morning, they even gave my 10-year-old sister a complimentary breakfast, though she didn't eat much – just a bread and a juice – before rushing off to the competition. The Intercontinental is always my first choice for hotels wherever I go; the service is excellent and truly deserves praise. It seems my sister's struggle to reach 5-dan is due to her skill, not where she stays or where she competes. After several consecutive years of coming to Wuxi, we probably won't be back for a while."

"I came to Wuxi for a marathon and specifically chose a hotel close to the subway station for convenience. It was quite a pleasant surprise to see the hotel building just a short walk from the subway exit. It's very close to the subway station and looks quite grand. The hotel seems to be a bit older, but it's been renovated in the past couple of years. The overall hardware facilities are decent (though the TV is small and unclear, and a cabinet door hinge was broken). What truly deserves praise is the front desk staff. Although they are older than the young staff you find at other hotels, their service attitude is excellent. Their language and gestures are very professional. For example, for something as small as taking the elevator, a staff member would see you coming and press the elevator for you in advance. In the evening, an uncle on duty saw that the four elevators were taking a long time to arrive, so he proactively came to check if there was a problem. Then, he would see which elevator was about to arrive, call everyone over to wait there, and reassure them. These are small things, but they were handled exceptionally well, leaving guests feeling very satisfied. The hotel's screens displayed a welcome message for marathon runners, which was also a very thoughtful touch. The room had a bathtub, and I asked the front desk for a disposable bathtub liner to use. After finishing the marathon on Sunday and returning to the hotel, the lobby manager warmly greeted me with ”You've worked hard!” and quickly helped me press the elevator. Many runners ordered takeout for lunch, and since there weren't enough robots, several front desk staff personally delivered the meals to the rooms."
