I stayed here for one night while traveling in Xi'an. Someone recommended it before and said that this hotel has a good environment. After arriving, I found that the environment is not bad. The advantage is that it is relatively close to the city center. But to be honest, I don’t recommend it for traveling, because this hotel is not close to any subway station. The nearest two subway stations take about 20 minutes to walk. It is not feasible to take a taxi, because there is a road nearby that is jammed all year round. If you take a taxi, Just wait for ten minutes over there. The environment in the room is okay, and the size is okay, but it is very hot. It is so hot that I need to open the windows at night, but after opening the windows at night, it is extremely noisy outside. There is a restaurant or something next to it, and it is being tidied up all the way. Glass bottle? I kept hearing their clattering sounds all night long. Excellent hotel in good location, room very well appointed. Stay was especially comforting with the warm level of service by hotel staff. I would like to commend front office staff 孙陆who spent time in helping my wife and I set up WeChat DIDI and giving us his personal number to call at any time if we encountered issues. The morning breakfast service staff, 尹改利 and her teammates are happy in serving and awesome, making our 6.30am breakfast a great start for the day. Thank you 尹改利 & your colleagues for the wonderful breakfast mornings. Eastern House is fortunate to have such hardworking and enthusiastic employees. The hotel is very central located and beside the noisy party street below (which you definitely hear, but it did not bother us) it is a great location. We enjoyed our stay and got very much help from the receptionists regarding our activities. They were all very helpful and supportive. The room was clean, however on some spots you saw that it is also used by some party people, as drink spills are on some walls. The bed was comfy, the shower ok. The breakfast was very good, unfortunately the rooms are all very dark due to the construction of the building. However, the themes are pretty!

The hotel is only a five-minute walk from the Bell Tower subway. It is quiet in the bustle. The double-glazed glass does not affect your sleep. The fragrant smell of tea can be felt as soon as you enter the hotel. The service is very good. Due to changes in plans, we temporarily stayed in different room types on different platforms. The front desk helped to upgrade the room type for free and merged it into one room, saving us the trouble of changing rooms. Finally, they helped with late check-out. The self-stay breakfast was rich and delicious. I was very satisfied. I will definitely stay here again next time I come to Xi'an.

Location of the hotel is excellent. It is within walking distance to 钟楼，鼓楼，回民街 and many other shopping malls. Hotel is about 20 steps from 钟楼站 J6. There are many tour agencies at 回民街 to book day trip to Terracotta Warrior etc. There are also tour desk at the train station to assist with day trip booking. The hotel concierge is also able to help to book day trip to see terracotta warrior. Breakfast buffet was good. Afternoon tea was miserable. We did not bother to go again after trying out once. The page did not clearly state that the free one-way transport is from airport to hotel. We thought it could be used for one way transport to anywhere in Xi’an.. Due to the incomplete information, we did not manage to utilise the free transport as we did not call to make appointment for our airport pickup. There was washing machine and clothes dryer available for use and it was free. The laundry room was open from 9am to 9pm only. Detergent was provided for free. The view from our room was excellent too. 钟楼was just infront of us. Overall experience was great. Will definitely recommend friends to stay at this hotel.

The room was clean and tidy. The lady at the front desk was beautiful, warm and considerate. She helped mail packages for free, which was a big help. The hotel is in a good location, close to Beilin Muslim Street, very convenient for shopping, and very down-to-earth. I regretted staying near the Evernight City in the first place. I should have chosen this place for all four days. It was cheap, affordable and had good service.

Located in front of Bell Tower. Upgrade to this room for this view for the second night but toilet still clogged like the other room we used to stay. Maybe this hotel is too old. 10 RMB trip discount voucher cannot be use for airport transfer. Hotel staff said check with airport bus operator that is located beside hotel but both companies are not related. Apart from that, heater was warm to withstand the snowy night. Hotel staff are more friendly to foreigners than local probably is their culture. We are foreigners from English speaking nation anyway.

After the plane came down, the airport bus clock tower station stopped directly 50 meters away from the hotel. The home downstairs can also help to call the drop-off or set a day trip. Room size is ok for me, self service free laundry and heater is located in the 2nd floor. Breakfast is served at floor 1 and there is a refillable water also.
