Location: The logo on the facade of the hotel building is very eye-catching and easy to find, and the navigation location is also very accurate. Service: I paid attention to this hotel last year, and I finally brought my baby here during the holiday! I called the hotel in advance to arrange a room with a view of the train and the city wall. The little brother was very nice. He prepared the room in advance according to the agreed time and helped turn on the air conditioning and ventilation in advance. Thank you🙏🏻 Hygiene: Very good! It’s very safe to live with children😘😘😘 Decoration style: Italian minimalist style, very photogenic🤪 Facilities: Although the gym is not big, the decoration style is very comfortable and not depressing, and all the basic equipment is available. Friends who like fitness can come and experience it.

I traveled through nine cities on this trip, and Xining was the place that made me happiest. I wanted to stay in a familiar hotel. But I didn't expect to find an unexpected surprise. Facilities: There are small desserts every night, which will be delivered to your room. It's super considerate. The few days I stayed there were white fungus and red dates, eggnog, and mango sago. Hygiene: The sanitary environment is very good, and it is cleaned very clean every day. I am a clean freak, so I give it five points. Service: Every staff member is very good. Thank you very much to my housekeeper Xiao Ma, who is warm, considerate and thoughtful. There is also the young lady who received me on the day of check-in. She chatted with me and knew that I believe in Buddhism. When she talked about this with the boss, she asked me to go out and play together the next day. Although my time does not allow it. But I am still very happy. Welcome fruit: The fruit is very fresh, and I like it more. First round Minibar: I have to mention this. I didn't expect there would be local drinks. It was a surprise. It promoted the specialties of Xi'an. There is also a coffee cart at the door. There are coffee and bread. Ice cream~~ You can have a cup when you go out in the morning~ The bread is also delicious~ Takeout can be delivered to the hotel. The staff will help you take it upstairs. If it is on the first floor, it will be convenient~ I am looking forward to my next visit to Xi'an. I will choose Yangchen again

My husband and I stayed in this hotel for three nights. We booked a standard room which was very affordable, and the hotel is located in the city centre, great location! There is a subway station just right next to the hotel so that’s very convenient as traffic in Xi’an is terrible! Upon check-in, a member of staff helped us and he was very friendly, he spoke English very well and that was helpful for us. Apparently the room that booked isn’t available so they upgraded us to a suite which was sweet! The room was humongous! It was very fancy, however I think the hotel is quite old, and some interior needs changing. We had a massive bed, maybe a California king bed? Very comfy bed! We had afternoon tea for two and a happy hour in the evening. (Not our favourite but it was a good deal). The gym was good too, they have some basic equipment and we were happy with it. The swimming pool was full of children so we didn’t use it, as we wanted peace and quiet. This is the most exciting part! On our final night, we got back quite late from exploring Xi’an and when we entered our room, it was pretty dark. No electricity. 🤣 I was super exhausted and I wanted to have a bath and just relax. But no can do. We had to go downstairs and update staff about the situation. We were told to wait downstairs, they gave us some water and we sat for about 15 minutes or so. And then a staff came to see us with a new set of key cards. She apologized to us for the inconvenience, like many times! We told her it wasn’t their fault but I think they really need some renovation haha (I didn’t say that to her), so she said we will be moved to a different room, from 20th floor to 28th floor. It sounded like we just got upgraded again! Haha. So we headed up to our new room, I opened the doors and wow! It was a 2-floor suite! It was amazing! I wanted to live in it haha. We were very exhausted and tired but it was a very sweet experience to have! My favourite was the bathroom as we had double sinks! (Yup that’s my thing) Overall, our stay in this hotel has been amazing. (Apart from the electricity problem) We liked the staff best, they were very helpful and kind to us. Everyone who worked in this hotel has been superb! And lastly, the manager gave us 20% discount as a compensation for the electricity incident. I would recommend this hotel to others due to its great location and incredibly helpful staff.

It was an excellent accommodation experience that exceeded expectations. The hotel is in a very good location and has convenient transportation around. It is very convenient to take public transportation or take a taxi. There are also many attractions and shopping centers nearby, which are very convenient for travel and shopping. From the moment I checked in, the staff showed extremely high professionalism and warm and thoughtful service attitude. They patiently answered various questions and made people feel the warmth of home. The room service was also very timely, and any needs were responded to quickly. The cleaning staff cleaned the room spotlessly, providing guests with a comfortable and tidy living environment. The room is spacious and bright, and the decoration style is simple and atmospheric. The bedding is comfortable and soft, ensuring a good sleep quality. The view in the room is also very good, and the hotel's breakfast is also good, with a wide variety; overall, this stay at Novotel Daming Palace is a great experience. Whether it is location, service, facilities or catering, it exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended to other travelers, I believe you will also have a pleasant vacation here.

Very good hotel and location. It’s very easy to get to Bell Tower and it’s near the subway station. The hotel is very comfortable and the front desk people are friendly and helpful. Cheap but excellent.

A friend & I stayed in a private 2-bed room with private bath. The beds and pillows were excellent, & the room cooled quickly due to good air conditioning. It was July and hot outside. The hostel has a great laundry room, including detergent and dryers! There are many young people staying here, so the environment is fun and lively, with billiards, live music, & a bar for enjoying coffee, beer, or adult beverages. The breakfast (optional) was adequate but very simple. Since Xi'an is a great foodie destination, probably most guests don't eat in the hostel. Our Chinese language skill is very low, but the front desk was helpful and patient, even though the hostel was very, very busy. Oh, the location is perfect: next to the bell tower, super-close to the metro, and a short walk to the Muslim food streets.

Right next to Xing Cheng Live Theater (picture below), this hotel is just around the perfect area to start exploring Xi’an! The subway station is super close, around 5 mins walk! Also, the the front desk service is pretty helpful! There’s always someone there to help!👍👍 Finally, the room is quite spacious and comfortable! I loved the shower room, too! 🚿 I’ll definitely stay in this hotel again next time!✌️100% recommended 🎊🎈🤩🤩

Nice little hostel. Decent price and good facilities. Right in the Muslim quarter so you’ll have to walk if you want to go to a bar but only about 25 minutes. Only negatives are that it could use a bigger communal area (when it rains you can only really sit downstairs, need good weather for the balconies) and that a youth hostel should maybe have limits on age. Middle aged Chinese men just needing a place to crash for the night before continuing home isn’t really in the spirit of the name in my opinion. But other than that I liked the place.

The hotel is located in a really convenient location for travellers. It is located between the drum tower and Bell tower.. in addition, the Huimin Street ( food street ) is behind the hotel ( 2 minutes walk). The staff at the hotel are really welcoming and kind-hearted, and help with anything you need during your stay. The front desk staff speacilly (Mrs. Lei yu) is really hospitable and kind. her kindness and welcoming face made this trip a memorable trip. The hotel rooms are hygienic and beautiful. the rooms are cleaned daily.. and the commodities ( for example, water bottels, tissue, comb, etc) are renewed every day. Although i did not use some, every time the room is cleaned, the attended puts new ones... this really reflected the staff commitment to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The hotel has an eating area, where breakfast is provided to the guests.. the food is tasty, and both Western and chinese dishes are available. In the hotel lobby, there is a tour guide who can arrange for you to visit attractions in this beautiful city. The tour prices are cheap and the tours are really convenient. And they arranged for me an english speaking tour guide. Overall, the hotel location, hotel staff, rooms, and services are excellent.. will recommend this place for anyone who wants to come to xi'an.

Located near to CityWall. For those who wish to stay near to the CityWall, I recommend you stay at this hotel. There are a garden near the city wall and at night there are pubs and live music across the wall. You can visit their morning market near the wall. There are some restaurants near the hotel and you explore behind the hotel, there is a restaurant that serve barbecue meat and local food
