Family-friendly Hotels in Yantai

The room is still warm, the environment is very good, the bed is just right, the pillows are the right height, and the breakfast is also very rich. In the evening, we have a buffet at the revolving restaurant on the top floor. The scenery is beautiful and there are many varieties!

We had a pleasant stay at the Sheraton. Breakfast was good and dinner alright. It’s right by the beach and if you walk towards the pier you will find a place to rent sup boards, kayaks and more. It’s not that close to the popular attractions, DiDi rides are usually an hour or just over an hour to get to the places. We had no problems with anything.

Pullman hotel is always a great choice when staying in Yantai. It's got a great location next to the Wanda Plaza which has good shopping and restaurants, as well as across the street from this very ancient style looking area which also has good shopping, restaurants, and some bars. Rooms are very clean and our view of the ocean was great. The staff is very polite and helpful from when i checked in to when I checked out, only person's name I remember was Alice Sun. There is also a really cool robot that can bring your food deliveries up to your room if you ask. The only recommendation I would have is it would be really great if there was a more direct pathway to the Wanda Plaza. Currently, you have to walk out the front of hotel and walk around the entire corner to get to the Wanda Plaza. Not a big deal at all but it would be great if there was a pathway or steps from when you exit the hotel, go directly to your left into the parking lot and can walk right down to the Wanda Financial Center over to the Wanda Plaza. Saves you an extra few minutes. :)

A very nice hotel, lovely room, decent breakfast, comfortable lounge and friendly staff. However, the beach is a sad sight, dirty, covered with debris, no shops, restaurants, bars, no atmosphere whatsoever. boring and dull. city side is a huge factory. not the kind of place to enjoy the seaside. definitely not a ”golden” beach.

I'm quite satisfied with this hotel. There are Internet celebrity restaurants around. It's very close to the seaside, but it's a short distance from the beach. It's about ten minutes' walk. It's very pleasant to go out for a walk after dinner at night. Thanks to Ms. Lu from the hotel for her service. I was very pleasantly surprised. The level of caring made us feel warm.

My kids wanted to live in a treehouse. After reading the reviews, I arrived at the hotel without much expectation. After checking in, I became more and more amazed as I walked in. Every glance was a surprise. I commend the front desk friends for their thoughtfulness and meticulousness. It’s hard to leave Penglai because of love. Knight Hotel will Brush again

My wife and I am from Changzhou and needed a break at the seaside so we decided to book this hotel from 27 July-31 July.We booked a room with a seaview. What we absolutely LOVE: The service and friendly staff, not only the reception staff but even those working at the entrance ,in the lobby. I have to single out one gentleman , I forgot his name , ( see photo 1) wh was extremely helpful and patient. Coming from Changzhou we had to upload the Shandong province health code and we had difficulty getting the health code. This gentleman patiently helped me and my wife to fill in the required info and access our healthcodes for Shandong. He can speak good english and is a real asset for the hotel. 2. Our Room with a view over the beach and the ocean. We had a spacious seaview room , with a bathtub which we LOVED. 3 . The location was perfect, and in close proximity to attractions like the Wine museum. 4. The food was delicious and the meals well prepared. We really liked the beefburgers, which was delicious as well as the dinner buffet outside on our first evening. The breakfast buffet was excellent too. Recommendations for improvement: Ordering room service : When I ordered room service , the lady taking my order could not understand some of the dishes /drinks I ordered( like ginger beer) and poached eggs.However, she send the manager on duty to our room to take our order personally. Thanks! A second time when I ordered room service again , it was also not understood well. When I ordered fresh coffee, the coffee was cold. Maybe next time the coffee could be poured last, just before it gets taken up to the room. Overall, we had a LOVELY stay. Thank you very much.

The hotel was beautiful… the staff was very helpful and friendly… I was disappointed by the breakfast, they didn’t have a wide range of food selection and it was all Chinese food (a little western food will be nice, but it looked like I was the only foreigner there at that time so I understand why they might not offer western food). I didn’t really take photos of the inside but this was the view from my first room (3rd floor). And the other is the view from the gym(4th floor). The gym was still new and not complete but it probably is now… I will definitely be visiting again.

advantage: 1. The location is good, not far from Penglai Beach, within walking distance. The distance from Penglai Pavilion Scenic Area is not bad, and you can also walk there, which is especially critical during holidays. On the day of the visit, we walked from the hotel to the entrance of the Zhenyang Gate of the scenic spot. Along the way, cars from all directions converged on the scenic spot, and it started to get blocked from afar. 2. The bed is easy to move, and can be easily put together. It is suitable for bed-sharing parties with two children. The bedding is good, and it is very comfortable to sleep on. 3. Adjacent to the scenic spot, there is a pedestrian commercial street next to it, which is very lively, and it is not a problem to go shopping and eat. 4. The layout of the public area and restaurant in the hotel lobby is very modern and comfortable, and the breakfast is okay. 5. The bottled water provided by the hotel is free to take, which is generous enough. insufficient: 1. The water flow in the shower is average, which should not be reasonable. The sink is external, and the shower room is transparent. The activities of the child after falling asleep are limited; 2. The family view room I stayed in actually has no view. The platform outside the room is not a balcony, but the extension of the stairs is directly facing the road. I didn’t go out after seeing it when I checked in; 3. Although I didn't drive, it should take a little trouble to park visually. To sum up, the overall feeling is that it belongs to the standard business hotel style, and the price/performance ratio is not bad. It is a good choice for sightseeing in scenic spots based on this.

When I first arrived in Penglai, I thought about living in a place close to the sea and chose this place. Really, you can see the sea and seagulls at breakfast. It is a great thing to eat a very rich breakfast! Later, I heard from local friends that this is one of the best homestays in Penglai, and I feel very lucky. In addition, it is pet-friendly. I saw two beautiful firewoods, and there is a three-flower kitten that will be posted at night, which is very warm! Very good experience, will come again next time
