Once again we have had a great time The staff are always friendly and helpful the breakfast is great York city is easy to reach from Wheatland lodge hotel either by walking or catching a bus we've been here 12 times over the last 3 years and I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone

It only takes 12 minutes to walk from the train station to the hotel. The hotel is a white house, which is very beautiful. Especially in winter, the golden trees and warm sunshine make people feel particularly beautiful. The room size is not bad! Big bed, breakfast included! Convenient to York attractions and dining

I visited York to attend a Conference and it was great to be able to stay at a quiet hotel, avail of their parking facilities and walk to and from the Conference near the train station. The service at the hotel was superb - very friendly, efficient and helpful.

Travelled with Loch Lomond coach , hotel and grounds were lovely, food was amazing, staff all very friendly and helpful, would thoroughly recommend, within walking distance of town centre and tourist spots.would definitely book again if coming to York x
