Vintage House

The bungalow and property is nice, but the bed mattress is awful. The bathroom has 2 sinks but only 1 with a mirror and lights. The other sink has no lights and no mirror. There is only 1 full body mirror located in the bathroom but it’s so close to the sinks you can’t stand far enough away to view yourself. The closet is miserably tiny with a wooden bar that makes moving clothes around difficult. Rooms have only steamers no irons or ironing boards. Requested an iron and it took an hour to have one delivered. Nobody makes up the room unless you call to request it and even then it took multiple calls during the day to get our room cleaned. Cobwebs on the large chandelier above the bed. Overall this is no where close to a 5 star property. The staff seemed 100% GFY when asked anything. Beautifully maintained grounds but this is a 3 star hotel at best…we would never come back here.

The staff was friendly, and inviting, and nice--not pretentious. Rooms and room amenities are exactly what we want in a splurge napa vacay--large rooms, wine frig, soft robes/slippers. The snacks in the room were a total bonus and we really enjoyed them. The lobby drinks/snacks/baked goods are a treat too. we stayed there before. Our 2nd experience was even better than the first. we were concerned that the quality of the breakfast had diminished post-pandemic and was so pleased to discover the breakfast was exactly what we remembered and PERFECt. Due to all this, we will definitely stay again and recommend it.

Sometimes it is said that NOT having expectations assures satisfaction...In this case, have as many expectations as you want when visiting the Vintage House. They will be satisfied above and beyond! From the staff to the facilities to the location...etc...etc...

Spent a lovely, restful and relaxing weekend at Vintage House. Accomodations were perfect - we stayed in a bungalow with a patio. Loved that breakfast was included, hot tub was wonderful, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Easy walking distance to wine tasting, bakery, restaurants and shops, plus an easy drive to nearby towns for more shopping.

Perfect location, cozy, wonderful customer service. Our every need was met. It rained everyday so we were in the room more than expected and it was great. We had hot water with lemon lost nights (brought by the staff) and the breakfast in the mornings was perfect.
