It was nice to be able to see the Matterhorn from the room.
Check-in is at the nearby Hotel Tannenhof. You can also leave your luggage there.

It was good that it was close to the station and reasonably priced for a hotel in Zermatt.

Excellent location, 5-10min walk from the train station. Near to both Coop and Migros. Room was cosy and clean but mattress/bed will need upgrading. It's too soft and will sink in when sleep on.
Check in counter is in another hotel a few steps away. Will be great if guests can be informed prior.
There's a small lift in the hotel, good for those with heavy luggages!

The receptionist's service was very good, but the toilet paper was not replenished when the room was being cleaned. As a result, there was no toilet paper for the next day. Moreover, the counter service was in another hotel and the weather was very cold.

The check-in area is in the building across from the accommodation building.
Since the building doesn't have the Alpina Hotel name on it,
it took me a long time to find the check-in entrance.
I chose a single room, but I didn't look closely because it was a shared bathroom,
so it was a bit inconvenient to use because there was only one bathroom with a bathtub.
The sink is in the room, but the bathroom is also shared outside,
so it was a bit inconvenient.
The location is good because it's close to the train station, and the room is clean,
