This hotel is old and dirty. Nobody speaks a word of English and use phone to translate. There is a potent smell throughout the hotel equivalent to dead rats type of smell. This is everywhere. Sleeping was difficult and I vomited several times. I couldn't wait to get out of there. Everybody smokes everywhere as well which turns your stomach along with the rat smell. It's either that or drains. I contemplated changing hotel but it was too expensive at short notice. I would not recommend this to anybody. Steer clear!

My Wife and I, booked a weekend at the Zibo Hotel, this in good faith, as we enjoy visiting the restaurant often. We were advised by some locals that the Zibo Hotel is an aged hotel. Nevertheless, we wanted to experience it for ourselves. Check in went well, and the front desk staff were professional and courteous. The initial impact of the Hotel, when entering is that of an "old" Hotel, yet, classic and timeless. "Old", is however not an issue in my opinion. Poor maintenance and standards however, are... Upon entering the room, there was an evident pungent odour, initially, I thought it to be that of cigarette smoke. I later came to the conclusion, that it's most probably due to the rising damp, which was all over the room, as well as in certain corridors. The "suite" which we stayed in, had a huge bathtub and a sizeable shower as well. When running a bath, it was evident that the water temperature was perfect, with instant hot water, and good water pressure. Regretfully, the water was brown, most probably due to the pipes being aged. The bed was as hard as a rock, and in my opinion not on international standard. The lace curtains are terribly worn, and are not a good sight at all. Wallpaper on all the walls are either peeling off, or has evident water damage on it. The ceilings, especially in the bathroom, have severe water damage. I have never given a bad / poor rating to a Hotel, and derive no pleasure in doing such. However, I have to be honest, I will not recommend this hotel to anyone, foreign or domestic visitors. If you can look past the water damage, the aged appearance and tolerate the odour, then you are free to try the Zibo Hotel for yourself. I however, can, and will not accept such. As in my opinion, a Hotel should make you feel relaxed and should have a sense of beauty to it. Especially as this is the town's local Hotel, I honestly expected better. I am really dissapointed, not so much about the fact that the Hotel has aged as badly as it did, but because it was not rectified. I could not stay there for my entire booking, and requested a refund for the 2nd day booked, as we checked out after our 1st day spent. My honest recommendation to prospective guests would be to rather consider another of the neighbouring hotels. The reception did apologize, when I stated that I plan to check out earlier, primarily, due to the uncomfortable rock hard bed. Regretfully, they did not make any effort to retain our business, no alternative was offered or presented to us. Nevertheless, we walked across the road, and checked into another Hotel, our favorite as a matter of fact. It is also noteworthy, that this hotel is also a bit on the "older" side, but unlike the Zibo Hotel, it's exceptionally well kept, fragrant and always a pleasure to visit. At least until such time as the Zibo Hotel has revamped the entire hotel.

My stay at the hotel was very good, Im completely satisfied with my stay. The hotel receptionist and check in people wer very helpful, The breakfast buffet in the dining hall was also very good.I travel a lot around China nd stay a lot of hotels,, this was a good one.

Clean Tidy Comfortable Beautiful

The room is large, but the window cannot be opened. The facilities are old and the door cannot be opened. I changed another room. The breakfast is rich and has local characteristics. The service is very good and there are welcome fruits.

1. Good service attitude, staff dress standard, spirit online. 2. Excellent location, right in the city center, downstairs is the Eighth Bureau 3. Reasonable price, sufficient room supply, no price increase before and after the May Day holiday, still three or four hundred, with double breakfast. 4. Disadvantages, old hotel facilities have years, toilet flushing is not smooth, bath water is not big, the instructions for adjusting the hot and cold may be wrong, the water on the right side is hotter instead of colder when turned counterclockwise. Overall, it is still recommended to come to Zibo. Compared with Rizhao, the hotel price has increased by more than 3 times during holidays

The location is very good, just across the street from the Badaju, convenient for shopping, rich breakfast, although the room facilities are a bit old, fortunately the room is clean and sanitary, the overall feeling is good.

The Badaju is across from the building, which is very close. The parking lot is large, so there is no need to worry about parking... The service is very enthusiastic, the breakfast is rich, and the older child is over the age and height limit, but the child was still given a breakfast coupon

There was no breakfast coupon on the 5th. I called the front desk and was told that there would be no breakfast if I checked out on the 5th. I questioned it and was told that there was no breakfast. I was wondering why this hotel didn't have breakfast on the second day after staying for two days after staying in many hotels. I wanted to review it today and suddenly found that there should be breakfast. It should have been a very good hotel many years ago. Other services were much better than those chain hotels. It was just this breakfast that made me feel uncomfortable.

The room was very old. I booked a standard room by chance. I could only book a suite, but suddenly a standard room was available for more than 300 yuan. The room had been used, and the room was changed or checked out. There were traces of sitting on the bed, and there was garbage in the trash can. I paid 30 yuan for breakfast, which was a good deal. This is how Zibo barbecue is. I experienced it. There were indeed a lot of people. Anyway, I came to experience it.

Location: There is Zibo BBQ across the street, and it is only a few minutes away from the Badaju. There is no limit on the number of people who can walk through the small road. Facilities: Although the hotel is relatively old, the facilities are fully functional and there are multiple elevators. The room provides 3 stools and a sideboard, which can be put together to make the bed wider by about 60 cm. I personally think it should not be a problem to sleep 2 adults and 2 children. Others: There is a free parking lot downstairs. The hotel also gave away snacks. When I checked in in the afternoon, it was just in time for the sunset, which was very beautiful. The price of 368 for May Day with two breakfasts is very cheap. Next time I come to Zibo, this is still my first choice. Recommended!

The hotel is in a very good location, just opposite the Badaju Bureau, which is very convenient for shopping and eating. There was no price increase during the May Day holiday. The service was very thoughtful, the room was very clean, but the facilities were a bit old. The breakfast was very rich. I will stay at Zibo Hotel again when I come to Zibo!

The hotel is in a good location, not far from the Badaju convenience market, but the room facilities are a bit old, and the shower head is not very useful. The hotel has free parking and there is a restaurant next to it, which is convenient for eating. There are many barbecues nearby, but I don't know which one is authentic.
