Holiday Inn Express London - Heathrow T5

Upon arriving at the hotel i was quickly checked in and upgraded to a better room on a high floor with a view. The hotel is located on London Road and there are regular buses to and from Heathrow airport. I have also have full buffet breakfast included in my booking and there is a bar and restaurant in the hotel. Great value for money and convenient location for Heathrow airport.
Castle Hotel Windsor

We had a one night stay and have to say it was great! Stayed in a larger room on the top floor with views of the castle and Guild Hall, truly lovely. Plenty of room for two adults and two little boys. Very clean and comfortable. The shower was super as were the lovely smelling toiletries, really good quality. Excellent quality tea, coffee and Nespresso in the room (proper milk in the fridge!) We also had complimentary mini bar in the suite (soft drinks only) and because we booked direct 4 free drinks from the bar including alcohol-that was a lovely surprise! The service at check in and check out was prompt, professional and friendly. Breakfast was excellent, really good variety and delicious. The lovely lady (maybe Filipina-sorry I didn’t get her name) who was managing breakfast this morning at 7:30am was super friendly and an asset to the hotel, keep hold of her!! But have to say all staff we encountered were professional and friendly. Easy to park and £30 for safe, convenient over night parking isn’t bad for central Windsor. We are staying again in December and already looking forward to it! If you need to be in Windsor to see the sights and want them on your doorstep then you can’t go wrong with the lovely Castle Hotel.

Beech House Hotel

Perfect for me as it’s right across from the office but probably not so great if you wanted to be in the city centre although it’s only an £8 taxi ride or £2 bus ride. Opposite a Beefeater which was handy but I would prefer an on-site bar and restaurant. Felt a bit uncomfortable on check-in to be asked if I was a smoker (I’m not) and if anyone would be joining me later 😳. Didn’t like the bed being made up with sheets, blanket and counter pane as it’s quite uncomfortable particularly on one of the hottest days of the year although the mobile air conditioning unit helped (first time I’ve had sheets and blankets for over 30 years since the day I got married despite extensive business (weekly) and leisure travel (4-6 times a year)). Hotel was very clean and the bathroom was well equipped. A bottle of water would have been a welcome addition to the room particularly in such hot weather. Not sure who to recommend the hotel to as it’s neither a corporate hotel with all the amenities or a home from home. Breakfast was on offer for an additional £15 and I decided to wait until I checked in to see. As I wanted to be in the office for 8am and there was no menu available, times of service or visibility of a dining room, other facilities or even other guests, I decided it may be too intimate and opted for a cold sandwich I had stored in the office fridge ‘just in case’. Was similarly priced to the executive room I had in the Novotel last week which had a full buffet breakfast included.
Copthorne Hotel Slough-Windsor

I booked this hotel because its close to Legoland and we just wanted somewhere to relax after an exhausting day out. This hotel exceeded our expectations, so much so that we extended our stay. The staff were lovely, rooms were clean and comfortable and the food was delicious. I recommend going for the Lego Buffet in the evening, its worth every penny. Everyone on reception was friendly and welcoming but a special mention must go to Melwyn, Food & Beverage Manager. Clearly a professional in his role and an asset to the hotel. He made sure we were looked after during all meals and always came over to say hello. He truly went above and beyond. Thank you all for a lovely stay.
Hilton London Heathrow Airport Terminal 5
3.9/5128 Reviews
We chose to stay in Hilton London Heathrow Airport Terminal 5 was primarily for convenience as we had a flight the following morning. There was some up and down mainly due to initial impression from front desk (very rude and unhelpful). Pro's - Clean room - Spacious - Bed was confortable - Decent view - Assisted with printing off paper work for our flight - Shuttle to airport is available* Con's - Front desk was very unwelcoming and rude (had issue with checking in, due to some issue with C-Trips representative payment not working; though we paid and secured room via C-Trip several day before which included an invoice and email confirmation; Front desk did not help and didnt want to assist ”deal with it yourself” attitude)> very distressing as we potentially had to pay again for the room (making us pay twice). - Hourly airport shuttle available but had to pay (should have inform guest, rather than finding out when we got onto the shuttle bus and catching us by surprise, as we would have rather booked a taxi) - Abit secluded
Crowne Plaza Reading

UK team meeting hosted at the hotel for 3 days. Excellent service, and a terrific location. Our visitors from abroad loved the views of the river. Facilities were top notch, and particularly noted that we had none of the usual connectivity issues when speaking to team members worldwide. A number of the team stayed at the hotel and I’ve had very favour feedback.Special thanks to Isabel, Federica and general manager Anne for looking after us for the week.

Just bath and no shower. Feels like home but nothing like a modern hotel. Basic amenities. Spacious room. Cute little place with free parking. There are food places around. Was stuck in Reading for the night and saw this was close by and price was right..
Macdonald Berystede Hotel and Spa

The hotel rooms are small, the price is high, very old-fashioned, eating and shopping ten minutes outside the road, five minutes at the bus station, very few cars, half an hour at the train station

The room was a good size, clean and airy, I felt very welcome and the manager explained everything well, I especially enjoyed the coffee in my room and it was enough to make my stay more enjoyable as I am a big coffee fan, would recommend this hotel very much !!!
