The room is really small like normal typical Japanese hotel rooms. We could fit 3 adults and 2 children with 3 big suitcases in this room but no space left to walk. No amenities in room, had to pick up in the lobby before coming up to the room. Lounge with coffee station is on 3rd floor. Ice maker and coin laundry are there too which is a plus for this hotel. Breakfast is a choice of set Japanese breakfast in another restaurant outside the hotel which I personally think that we rather go for breakfast somewhere else. There are many restaurants and malls around the hotel with better choices of food. The location is wonderful, near subway stations and bus stations.

PERECT location, literally a tunnel from the metro station to the hotel (best you ask the hotel which exit it is so you can avoid going up the ground floor). It was such a treat, like it's your secret tunnel. Love that it has a gym, and the free sake and Photo Booth was fun! V clean room, better you pay a bit more for the slightly bigger double room.

Hotel is next to subway station, however, there is distance (10-15 mins) from the Tianjin key shopping and dinning area. There is in-house car parking which is convenient for those staying in hotel with car. The service of front desk are professional and polite with good level of English.

Lovely place, can be found with Google maps. I'd advise calling the hotel for directions as it's easy to miss if you're not looking out. Great hotel service, always ready to help even when they don't understand what you're saying. I don't speak Japanese, so being able to get all I needed without bending over backward was great. They also offer nice breakfast buffet, and light dinner. I'd definitely return to the same hotel. It's also a nice location for self tours, easy shrine trails, museums, parks, markets, and other fun sites. Also very near to the subway, so there was no need to book a taxi.

I chose to stay with Best Western because I trust the international brand and its quality of service. With Japan's standard, the room is big in size, the beds and the pillows are comfortable for a good sleep, and the area for placing the suitcases is sufficient. Only two minor points to deduct, the location is a bit far from the train station exit and there is no elevator in the closest station exist. The hotel entrance is in a small street, it's difficult to locate it if you don't use google map.

I definitely love the free breakfast, with cold and hot selections. A simple breakfast before heading out. However, I find the lighting in the room and bathroom is a bit darker to my liking. Overall, I recommended this hotel if you want an affordable and comfortable stay.

I had a fantastic stay at Tokyu Stay Hakata! The hotel is conveniently located near Hakata Station and just a short distance from the international airport, making it incredibly accessible for travellers. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, always ready to assist with a smile. The room was spacious by Japanese standards, very clean, and well-maintained. One of the highlights was the inclusion of a washing machine in the room, which was so convenient for longer stays. Overall, it was a comfortable and pleasant experience. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Fukuoka!

Rooms are not big but satisfied on amenities provisions. Housekeeping will leave new towels and robes sets and amenities by your door even if you did not request for make up room. Shower curtain has a funny smell when it is not dried out after shower. Hotel does not provide extra key. Hotel dies not provide extra key. Perfect location. Recommended.

Right next to JR Kokura Station so very convenient for people who take train. We drove so decided to park a little farther (less than 10min walking distance). As expected the room is not big, but clean and cosy. A food court style dining area （屋台）is right downstairs near the station where you can find a great variety of food such as barbecue, ox intestine hot pot (もつ鍋), sushi etc.

Stayed on the 27th floor. Every 3-5 minutes, there is a 10-15 seconds of strange noise. reported to the hotel, they blame the lift for the noises. Unfortunately, the very disturbing noise appeared throughout our stay including very late at night.

You have to register yourself from check-in to check-out, which is convenient and fast. The bathtub is comfortable and large. There were many people that night but it was enough to accommodate. There is a bus stop right outside the door. There is also a food street 3 minutes away. There is a 24-hour restaurant, which is suitable for night tourists. Not bad

1. Very spacious room for this price point to be honest. Could be because it's not a major city... 2. Kitchen equipment like induction cooker and pot and bowls and utensils were provided! Makes it possible to cook your own meals (or even just Maggie mee) fridge was very big so can buy drinks to store 3. Location was alright. Located along small alley but very near main road leading to shopping street and Kokura station. 4. Aircon and heater worked well. Great for winter weather 5. Bathroom ventilator was very strong. To the extent that it feels very cold after taking a shower. We tried closing the bathroom door at night and it was literally like a freezer in the morning when we open it. But also because of the ventilator, our clothes dried fast indoors 🥶 6. Now to the pain points. First got to be the facility management and check in check out process. This property does auto check in meaning there is no physical staff to handle your check in check out throughout. There is no receptionist at all. I made my booking 2- 3 hours prior to arriving at property. At the front door we were prompted to input entry passcode which we had no idea what it was (it's not the reservation number provided by the booking partner like Agoda or trip.com) tried to contact both the hotel helpline (there was a Jp phone number at the entrance but that's all, no other info whatsoever) and also escalated to Agoda (as I made my booking through Agoda for first nights) but no ans. In the end we had to enter property when someone unlocked the front entrance using her own passcode before we could speak to the helpdesk through the tablets. So it turns out that they claim most travellers would make their reservation at least a day prior to arrival, which was why system didn't capture my booking (yet ironically they allowed booking for same day check in .... When they clearly cannot manage the whole process) shouldn't there be more effort being put in to monitor for same day booking so the traveller doesn't get stuck at the front entrance especially in winter weather? We had to sit at the park nearby while trying to contact the helpdkesks but couldn't get through till the end...... The whole check in process was rather manual, basically you enter the info as prompted on screen then video call the helpline agent to verify before you'll get your passcode to your room. (All through tablet) Security seems alright if you're ok with the idea of using a keypad lock instead of having a physical room card? I guess customers just have to always make sure no one is looking when entering the passcode at the front door. Btw same passcode is used to enter hotel front entrance and for your room lock. All in all the biggest issue we found was the check in check out process. Overall stay was above average.

The location is excellent, next to Kokura Station, the main terminal station for JR and monorail. The room is equipped with a microwave, which is useful for heating up local specialties and bento boxes that you collect on your travels. The facilities are new, and the bathroom and toilet were comfortable to use.

Clean and tidy even this is an old style hotel. Grand design with good service provided and near harbour. It is very convenient to 唐戶 market. Wonderful hotel with reasonable charges.

the hotel is closing to the JR Station, it is just walking within 7 minutes from the station, it is very convenience for the travelers. Moreover, the front desk stuff is very nice and cheerful, and can response to the customer's queries promptly. The check in and check out process is very smooth and quick. When inside the room, the facilities is fine and clean, have a big working desk and enough light for the traveler when working is required with their computer. The Wi-Fi network is okay. Furthermore, the breakfast is fine and have lot of varieties for the guest to choose. the restaurant staff's service is nice. Also, there are lot of different restaurants which located around the hotel. Highly recommend to come back again in the next time.

Location: Kokura Station, exit from the north exit, take the elevator on the left and walk straight. You will definitely arrive after walking for 10 minutes with your luggage. A typical Japanese economy hotel, with everything you need. Check-in is at 3pm, and check-in is also done on a self-service machine. The lobby is on the 2nd floor, with coffee, drinks, and ice available all day, and you can also store your luggage by yourself. Breakfast is a simple Western-style meal. In addition, there is a voucher for the Sarakura Mountain Cable Car on the shelf on the first floor (I only saw it when I came back o(╥﹏╥)o) It is a certain distance from the railway, so there is no noise, which is good.

This room type is sufficient for 4. Would be nice if hotel explains how to set up room. Futon is much thinner than the 12 tatami mat room type. Was difficult to enquire room rate and extension from front desk, ended up just booking on trip.com directly, much easier snd hassle free.

Location is good, just next to train station and all the convenience stalls.are within reach. The room for a single traveller is reasonable. The hotel provides free curry rice and drinks in the morning and evening. Taste ok to me. Overall will recommend this place if you are visiting Kokura

It's conveniently located near the station. The refrigerator is too small and the air conditioning can't be adjusted in the room, but the bathtub is spacious and the shower is good. I went there for my 18-year-old son's college entrance, so I wanted to keep travel expenses down, so we stayed in one room, but the bed was spacious and good.

A five-star hotel among three-star hotels, very good. Well decorated, clean rooms, complete and delicate facilities, good service attitude, highly recommended. If you take the Nishitetsu, it is closer to get off at Hanabata Station, and it is only a 6-8 minute walk. The bedside table has two layers for storing things, and the light switches in the room are all at the head of the bed, which can also be adjusted in brightness, and there is also a bedside lamp; there is a JBL alarm clock on the table, and the table lamp is also a work light, which is bright but not dazzling; the bedding is also very comfortable, and I had a good sleep.

Due to parking, I didn't find the entrance to the hotel parking lot and parked outside. There are also many parking lots outside nearby. There is a Daiso 100 yen store and a supermarket below the hotel, and there is Don Quijote and Hikari House opposite the hotel.
