Yuejiang Tower Scenic Area

Located in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, the Yuejiang Tower Scenic Area features a building modeled after Ming Dynasty architecture, with red pillars and a golden glazed tile roof that is strikingly bright. Ascending the Yuejiang Tower, one can take in the vast panorama of the Yangtze River, which is refreshing and pleasing to the eye. After Zhu Yuanzhang became emperor, he renamed Lulong Mountain to Lion Mountain, decreed the construction of Yuejiang Tower, and personally wrote 'Yuejiang Tower Record'. He also ordered all literati to write a 'Yuejiang Tower Record', among which the one written by Grand Academician Song Lian was the best and was later included in 'Guwen Guanzhi'.
