When I visited Australia this time, the most impressive thing was staying at The Village Cairns. We stayed here for three days. Johnny at the front desk received us that day with a very good and patient attitude. Seeing that we were a family of three, he specially gave us He arranged a very quiet room, and told us in detail the location and key points of use of the kitchen and bathroom, as well as how to use the virtual door lock. Our first impression was that he was enthusiastic and responsible; 2.14 was Valentine's Day, and Johnny informed us of the evening's activities in the morning. Let's participate together. Sure enough, with wine, juice, chocolate and music on the balcony in the evening, our family spent a very meaningful Valentine's Day together, which added a lot to our trip. Today we will leave Cairns for Bu Lisbane continues the next journey, thank you Johnny, see you in Cairns!

There are various shops in the area, so there is no problem. The room is neat and clean. I didn't have a problem with eating. The customer service and service were very good.

We booked this apartment for a family holiday for 4 people. We booked a 2 bedroom apartment which had plenty of space, air con in each room and living room, and was stocked with all the amenities that a family would need such as a dishwasher, dryer, etc. The apartment is about a 30 minute walk from the main area of Cairns so we needed to catch an Uber each time which wasn’t ideal. The reception hours are also limited to working hours each day. We did have an issue with a shower handle coming off it’s hinge and had to wait until morning to have this fixed. We could also hear people walking up and down as the complex isn’t very sound proofed. There was a clean accessible pool which we also used. There was a clean bbq space too which would be useful for family gatherings. Overall, we had a generally enjoyable stay but would consider staying somewhere closer to the main area if we were to visit again.

We arrived at the hotel around 1.30pm and we were able to check in straight away, the girl on reception was very friendly and explained where our room was as there are 2 towers . We were on the 10th floor with a city view. Our room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Loved how they are helping with environmentally keys for your door which are just round bamboo disks and also having no plastic bottles in the fridges, just glass bottles. All tv programs were free so we’re able to watch new release movies and free wifi . We had booked a holiday package , so we also had free car parking and a $250 credit to use at any of their hotels . Would definitely stay here again .

This resort has a lot of potential to be great. However what we experienced was mediocre in accommodation and service. Firstly the reception is closed the entire weekend. We arrived on the weekend and ”for pool towels contact reception” didn't quite work. The apartment was OK but the second bedroom was so small it only just fit two single beds (no room for luggage). The teenagers were glad it was just a short stay. The exhaust fan and hair dryer didn't work but the main bedroom was lovely. Gate access to the pool was nice. I think the main problem is each apartment is individually owned so it is a bit of a lottery the quality you get. One person was checking out early as their apartment was full of mould and flooding. Another commented on how gorgeous their apartment was. Inconsistent! The pools are surrounds are lovely. Cannot comment on the cafe as it was shut while we were there. Access to the beam scooters was great as it is perfect scooting distance to town/pier. I would stay again if I negotiate the right apartment. The grounds are picturesque.
