Very near Batam centre ferry centre, but away from beach area. Majestic hotel, grand, posh! I love this hotel. Breakfast is amazing. Pool is huge, with jacuzzi pool too. Staff is friendly. But pls buy your own water. As hotel only gives 2 bottles of water a day. Don't bother trying the massage at hotel. Not worth it

Had a great 4 days stay! Shuttle bus transfer from Nongsapura ferry terminal was very smooth with Montigo resort staff being ready to welcome us and assist with our luggage onto the bus. Checking in was a breeze too. I was given a beeper and waited to be called as there were quite a few guests checking out when we arrived. Front desk staff Febri is very efficient and explained everything super clearly. On the second day we required more drinking water and Kiki from housekeeping was very helpful by providing bottled water to both of our seaview villa units. We ordered in-villa dining and also dined at The Warung. A must-try are their Bakar Iga Madu and Ayam Panggang Berempah. However, the Mie Goreng Jawa is too salty for us. Besides having a great session in the personal KTV room at Tiigo Bar and shoot some hoops at the small basketball area, the sports & activities staff Indra went the extra mile to help dry out the tennis court after the rain stopped to let us hit a few rallies before our check out. Overall, the resort is worth the stay even though it needs some maintenance and upgrade due to its age - more than 10 years old. My family and I would stay there again.

Clean room and toilet. Water pressure is good. Air-conditioning is okay but at night is abit stuffy. Air-con seems to be controlled but still acceptable.. Bed is comfy and there is 2 pillows. Cons is that grabfood driver is not allowed to enter. They have to park at the guard house and walk in or we have to walk out..hope they can allow them to come in nearer to the main entrance. Will stay here again.

Mixed Experience Due to Front Desk Issue We stayed as a family and booked 3 rooms in total. Upon arrival, only 1 room was ready for check-in, which was understandable, so we left to go shopping while the other rooms were prepared. When we came back at around 8:30pm, we checked in to the remaining 2 rooms and were given only 1 access card for one room, and 2 access cards for the other room. When I asked the staff why there was only 1 card for the room, she pointed to my child, which confused me. I even reconfirmed: “Does the child not need an access card?” She told me yes, so we went ahead believing everything was in order. The next day during check-out, we were told by another staff member that we were missing an access card and that two were issued in the system. She insisted that we had lost the card. I explained the situation calmly, but it didn’t seem to matter. After almost 10-15 minutes of going back and forth, I told her to check the CCTV footage, since I clearly remembered questioning the number of cards given during check-in. Finally, she said “it’s okay,” but honestly — it wasn’t okay. We were essentially accused of losing something we never received. I couldn’t help but feel that if we hadn’t questioned it, we might have been charged for a missing card. It was unnecessary, stressful, and left a very bad impression despite the rest of our stay being good. Everything else about our stay was pleasant — but this incident made us feel uneasy. I hope the hotel reviews their procedures so other guests don’t go through the same experience. Double-check your key cards at check-in to avoid any misunderstandings.

Thank you Doulos Phos Hotel, for the unforgettable experience! My friends and I truly enjoyed our stay on your ship. From the moment we arrived, we felt a warm welcome. The room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast was abundant with food that reminded us of home in the Philippines, something we’ve really missed. The receptionists were very hospitable and guided us well on what to do during our stay. The pool was unique and aesthetic, and what amazed us most was the ship’s rich history, especially how it has touched many lives through charity. A special thanks also to the captain who gave us a tour of the ship (I even wondered if he’s a real captain!) On our last day, despite the bad weather, and although our check-out was scheduled for 12:00 PM, our ferry departure was not until 6:45 PM. The reception staff graciously allowed us to remain in our room until 5:00 PM. This thoughtful gesture meant a great deal to us and made us feel valued and cared for. Overall, our experience exceeded expectations. We are grateful to all the staff of Doulos Phos Hotel for their kindness and professionalism. First time staying at Cassia Bintan and no regrets! Wonderful experience with too notch hospitality from their service crew. Room was nice, comfortable, clean and spacious. Gym and breakfast would be at Angsana resort which is just a 5 minutes walk away. The beach front is easily accessible from Cassia Bintan and the swimming pool is very child friendly too. Definitely will come back again with my family!

Friendly service from front desk staff. Housekeeping request attended to promptly. Used the pick-up service from Harbour Bay Ferry Terminal as I arrived quite late in the evening. Driver punctual and was waiting at arrival gate for me. Room was comfortable and clean. Minor traffic noise from nearby road.
