The room was nice, but it didn't come with slippers or toiletries, so remember to bring your own. I think I arrived during a holiday because downstairs, there were Indians playing music, setting off fireworks, and celebrating all night long. 😂

We stayed near the airport for one night to catch an early flight. We chose this hotel because it had a kids' pool, which was a nice bonus. The hotel is conveniently located less than 10 minutes from the airport, making it easy to catch a taxi or pre-book one in the morning. While there aren't many commercial establishments nearby, the hotel's dining options were sufficient. The room was clean, spacious, and well-equipped with comfortable amenities. However, for some reason (perhaps a special circumstance), the shower water fluctuated between hot and cold, making it very difficult to maintain a stable, comfortable temperature. We also couldn't find a hairdryer. The kids' pool was definitely a highlight and better than we expected. Our little one had a great time, and we noticed many local families staying there with their children. So, even if you're not rushing for a flight, this hotel would be suitable for a leisurely trip too.

I booked this place just because I was going to climb Flagstaff Hill. From the outside, it looks decent, but the facilities inside are quite basic. First off, the water dispenser is located by the entrance on each floor, so you have to get your own water. The iron is also outside if you need to press your clothes. The cleaning staff are all male Indian workers, and frankly, it's not very clean; I even saw small ants crawling on the table. The rooftop restaurant seemed nice, but I missed the dining hours.

I only stayed one night. The hotel has a nice view and is on a high floor. Breakfast was quite good. The bathroom only had a shower, no handheld showerhead. Even with all the lights on, the room was still very dim, which felt a bit off. Overall, the hygiene was good. The hotel's location is excellent, and the service attitude was good.

The room was very clean and spacious, not noisy, the pool was lovely and refreshing after a hot days site seeing...location wise it's a little away from the main tourist area but it's only 5 ringit in a grab to Chulia St and some of the eateries across the street from the hotel and massage shops are far better than the tourist areas, so I thought it was a great location. The staff I have to say are an absolute credit to the company, they were very helpful, friendly, patient and assured and were accommodating with a few of my non-standard requests, I will stay here for sure when I come back to Penang

My stay with OZO Penang was truly awesome! From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The hotel facilities were well-maintained and comfortable, perfect for both relaxing and getting around the city. The breakfast spread was a real highlight, a great variety ranging from delicious local dishes to a lovely cheese platter. There was everything from a freshly prepared egg station to a fun ice cream corner, so there was something for everyone. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and I would definitely recommend OZO Penang to anyone visiting Penang.

The hotel is quiet and conveniently located. The front desk staff are friendly, and I appreciate their efforts towards sustainability, like providing toothbrushes and purified water dispensers in common areas. My room had a great view, was clean and tidy, and very comfortable. Highly recommend!

Newish hotel, we have been here before. The first thing you will notice is the lack of furniture and that all your cases will be out on the floor in front of you. There is a ridiculous looking small wash basin that's hard to wash your face in without getting the floor wet or hitting your head on the tap. No slippers, tissues, or hand towels, just one big towel. Only one bedside thing with the phone taking up most of the space, they could fix the phone to the wall. A very small table available had to be used as a bedside table. Good enclosed shower. Breakfast never changed noticeably but good to see steamed buns available as well as cereal. This meant there was milk for tea/coffee instead of the powdered cream available. I suggested a jug of milk would be nice next to hot drinks but it never happened. I would stay again but not for as long next time.

Honestly this hotel was unexpectedly good!! The room was extremely clean (really love that super clean smell when you walk into your room 😂) Their housekeeping team did a great job too - I’ve requested daily house keeping & they cleaned the room, changed the towels every day without fail! There’s also a complimentary snacks near the lift which they replenish it every day. When I requested for a steam iron, they sent it over immediately as well! - very responsive, very impressive! One of the highlights was the cute cats around the property - super manja super friendly, which made the stay even more enjoyable!! It’s a great choice for people who love cats!! You’ll see them everywhere LOL The sandwich bar is amazing too - Can try their signature Reuben & smoke duck cheese toast, it’s very nice!! Location wise I think it’s very strategic. It’s walkable to the famous Chowrasta Market for breakfast, chendol, and many more. Taking Grab around was also very convenient - not expensive. One more plus point when you stay here, you can visit the massage centre right beside the hotel - pretty good with reasonable price (it’s not the very atas kind but was quite decent & just have to book in advance to secure your slot) I think the only minor downside would be some background noise from the bar across the street at night. You can hear faint clubbing music, but it wasn’t too loud or disruptive & it didn’t affect our stay much. All in all, it’s a good one! Will definitely come back again!!

CCHONG CHING3 Days 2 nights stay at Chulia Mansion Georgetown We booked 2 superior rooms for 2 nights via trip.com for Rm644.40 or Rm161.10/room/night . We checked in to Room 207 and room 215 upon arrival. Once the door of Room 207 was opened, a bad odour full of stingy smell appeared. We did not care to take action at that moment. We went out for good food. After coming back to hotel to rest, we tried to check whereabout the smell coming from, and to take action by closing the toilet door from that moment thru the night. Sad to say, the stingy smell was still there all night long, and I could not have a good night sleep thru the night while surrounded with bad odour. On top of that, the toilet shower rubber hose was cracked and water rushed out during our shower in day time. The following day, I went to the lobby to tell the hotel lady, all the facts and request to change to another room. The lady checked the hotel computer system and told me that the hotel was fully booked a night before once housekeeping was done, they will give me a new room. That was roughly 12 noon. So, they tell me to go back to stay in room 207 to rest, and to wait for her call. At 12 something , one man knocked on my door and sprayed our room 207 with air freshener, changed the hose and left. By 1pm, I was uneasy and I went to the Lobby to follow up with the change of room. The same lady was watching something like movie her table, I asked her why nothing done to call and inform me to change to a new room. She raised her head and looked at me and said that the housekeeper informed her that there was nothing wrong with the room. At that moment, my temper was up and I told her firmly and repeatedly that i want to change to a new room. The next thing happened was that we were checked into room 315. We were lucky and happy that room 315 has no bad stingy smell. However, the shower hose in the room 315 was rosak then again I told the lobby about the facts. So, moral of my stay is to follow up with the LOBBY all issues and defect in the hotel room that I feel unhappy with. The whole purpose of the stay is to get happiness and relax by paying cash that worth the value, and not wait until check out to complain. Last but not least, room 215 facing the street also noisy due to the sound and noise coming from motorcycle , cars and vehicles during daytime outside street, and also live band, loud music and pub. You can also hear music and live band coming from the roof of Chulia Mansion building itself. Finally, I think if you are a light sleeper this hotel definitely is not your choice.

GGuest UserLocation is just 3min walk from a Duck meat Koay Teow Teng where locals go. 15min walk from New Lane food street for dinner and lots of TSP stores that locals go to within a radius of 5 min walk. Despite near to all these nice shops, it is quiet enough to rest. The counter staff are also friendly, especially Amirul. Despite putting on mask, Amirul lots of warmth and hospitality. Truly enjoyed the stay at this hotel.

AAnonymous UserLocation is perfect—just steps from the main attractions and great restaurants, yet the street itself is quiet at night. The check-in was swift and the staff were wonderfully friendly. Our room was surprisingly spacious, modern, and spotlessly clean. For a short city break where you want to be in the heart of the action and rest well, this hotel is an excellent choice. Great value for the prime location and comfort provided.

TTini88We were a bit nervous after reading the reviews online but we had a really excellent stay. The rooms were super clean and modern with a beautiful sea view and the bed was really comfortable. The rooms had a kettle with teas, a hairdryer and iron and the shower was lovely and hot. Great AC too. The pool was lovely with a beautiful view of the sea and very nice and peaceful. The location was also great with a huge food market right opposite. Overall a really lovely stay
