Very good customers support staff, its very near to Zanzibar ticket point for tourist persons, healthy breakfast, high speed wifi specialty, very hygienic place. The hotel is located in city center, near by hospital specificity available.
Chelsea Hotel

I spent one night in the Chelsea Hotel to do some sightseeing in Dar and it was very good for that purpose. The hotel was a little bit dated, but otherwise completely up to the standards which I expect from a hotel. It's located not far from the clock tower, which to my understanding pinpoints the centerpoint of the city. The actual sights I went to see started further away, about 20 minutes by foot. The room was adequate in size and had good aircon. I had a twin room. I first tried sleeping in the bed further away from the aircon, but the air blew directly there, so I had to move to the bed right under the aircon unit. The hotel was located close to a busy road and the honking of the cars could be heard up to the sixth floor. However it wasn't bad. The breakfast was ok. It didn't have a very wide selection, but the items I tried were tasty and of good quality. Also the setting in the restaurant was pleasant. The only negative I have to say is the extraorbitant exchange rate. I had paid my room rate in advance, but I had to pay the city tax (1.50 USD) at the hotel. I asked to pay in Tsh and had to pay 7000 Tsh, equivalent to about 3$. My loss was only 1.50$, so it wasn't a big deal in my case, but the principle left a bad taste in my mouth. If the room rate would have been 1.50$ higher but the city tax 3500 Tsh, I would have left as a happy customer. The hotel offered airport transfer for 42000 Tsh. It was quite pricy. The fixed price at the official taxi stand at the airport was 30000 Tsh. On the way back to the airport I used a rideshare app to get my transfer, it cost Tsh 12000.
Q-Bar & Guesthouse

I just stayed at Q Bar & Guesthouse and been amazed by the loveliness of the staff. The guesthouse is comfortable, AC, spacious and lit rooms, safe, little desk area, sofa, TV. I very much appreciated the whole stay. From start they were super responsive on the booking engine. At check in Ibra showed me few rooms before choosing what i wanted, made sure i was comfy, cooked breakfast by Grace was perfect, she's lovely and so is whole staff, and Joel the manager is very nice and welcoming. The Bar is popular in the area and the location is perfect! No noise, the rooms are quiet. Definitely recommend.
Zimbo Golden Hotel

Relatively middle-priced hotel in dar, room is large with large bed and separate toilet and shower. Staff are nice. First day of arrival the air conditioner was not working and they immediately asked someone to fix. And the restaurant was good in my expectation, it closes at 11pm and I can still order food at 1030pm. The only improvement is that the WiFi is poor, almost no connection in my room.

The hotel's room is comfortable : there is an air conditioner that works very well. Every thing is clean especially the toilets. The bed is smooth and the T.V is interesting to watch. What I liked mostly about the hotel is their hospitality and service. A good place to stay in Dar Es Salaam. ❤❤❤
Best Point Hotel

The cleanliness of the room is okay, but it is a bit remote, and the service attitude is quite good. The environment here is also quite good. There is wireless, you can take a shower, and there is free breakfast.
Econo Lodge

With a ”nice space” to move around in the room where there was also ”a good selection” of news & movie channels on the TV, it was a pretty comfortable stay at this place and where added to the comfort was the convenience of the ”rooftop restaurant” where apart from the breakfast (which was a ”nice omelette” one) was where I also ate most of my lunches & dinners during my stay (some varieties of biryani available). And yes, also of convenience ”around this hotel” are a number of mini-groceries, a big wet-market-like place kind of semi-outdoor with open sides, a small streetside ”fully indoor” restaurant (not directly around here but just at like one block away and yes which likely is not the only one in the vicinity of this place), the bus office for the Kilimanjaro Express bus (about a block away where I got on my bus to Arusha pretty early in the morning), and a hospital for the PCR test (about a 5-minute walk after first registering on the website of the Tanzania Ministry of Health and paying at the bank which is also nicely located at like across the street from this hotel).

The service is in place. I was given a small room on the first night that was different from what I had booked. I was given the largest room on the second night. I am taking customers seriously.
