Seriously, autumn in Jilin is breathtaking—every shot looks like a fairy tale! National Day — traveler post in Ji'an

Seriously, autumn in Jilin is breathtaking—every shot looks like a fairy tale! National Day

📸 [Divine destination recommendations] ✨No. 1 Huamei Resort (p1-5) Top-tier autumn scenery in Changbai Mountain! Manjiang Grand Canyon is truly breathtaking 😱 The best spot is on the bridge leading to the visitor center. You can see the whole canyon, full of vibrant colors. Every shot is wallpaper-worthy! No exaggeration, as an autumn-chaser, I'm officially obsessed 🏆 ✨No. 2 Sifangding Scenic Area (p6-10) The most beautiful ancient tree cluster in Northeast China, it's amazing! Climb the observation tower to take in the panoramic views. Ancient trees towering with gradient autumn leaves—breathtaking 🍂 The downside is you can't drive up; you have to take a shuttle bus. The ticket is a bit pricey at 75, and it's about a 3-hour walk, so travel light~ ✨No. 3 Xianren Valley (p11-13) The "Xinjiang" of Northeast China! Free admission is the best! 🐂🐴 Herds of cattle and horses + vast cedar forests + fairy-tale cabins—it's like walking into Hemu Village! But the road up is gravel, and it takes half an hour to drive there, but it's totally worth it! ✨No. 4 Benhuan Highway (p14-16, recommended arrival Oct 7) Navigate to "Qingman Fenglin," but don't drive into the scenic area! When you see cars parked along the road, that's the spot! Red maples + clear streams, the whole screen is cinematic 🍁 ✨No. 5 Tiechang Line (p17-18) A hidden gem of an autumn scenic road! Drive south from Jianchang Town all the way to Kuandian. It's over 90 km and takes 2 hours. There's almost no traffic, and the whole way is full of surprises! 🚙 🗺️ [Complete 8-day itinerary] D1 Changchun → Sifangding Scenic Area → Jingyu County D3 Jingyu County → Lushuihe National Forest Park → Huamei Resort → Songjianghe Town D4 Songjianghe Town → Xianren Valley → Linjiang City D5 Linjiang City → Ji'an City (G331) D6 Ji'an → Qinghe Maple Leaf Valley → Donglai Township → County Road 040 → Tonghua City Tongjiajiang Tourist Resort D7 Tonghua City → Hualai Town → Benhuan Highway → Tiechang Line → Kuandian County D8 Kuandian County → Shenyang 📌 Quick tips: The sunset at the snow-view cabins is absolutely stunning, and the quiet mountain atmosphere is top-notch 🌄 Hurry up and go for the National Day holiday to experience the romantic overload of autumn in the Northeast!

2-day historical tour in Ji'an — traveler post in Ji'an

2-day historical tour in Ji'an

🗺️ [How to plan your 2-day trip] Arrive in Ji'an on day 1, see the General's Tomb and the Stele of King Gwanggaeto, and visit Wandu Mountain City in the afternoon. Stay in the county town at night. On day 2, take a walk along the Yalu River in the morning, visit one or two mural tombs, and head back in the afternoon. You can see most of the Goguryeo ruins in 2 days. 🏞️ [Along the Yalu River] Ji'an is located along the Yalu River, with North Korea just across the water. The river surface is often misty in the early morning, and the villages on the opposite bank appear faintly in the mist. There is a walking path along the river. Take a stroll in the evening to watch the sunset and the lights on the other side—it's very peaceful. 🍂 [Autumn in Ji'an] Ji'an is the Little Jiangnan of Jilin. It has a mild climate, and the autumn foliage arrives a bit later than in other parts of the north. In mid-to-late October, the forests in the suburbs turn red and yellow. You can enjoy the autumn scenery while visiting the ruins—it's a win-win. 🥘 [The flavors of Ji'an] Ji'an is close to North Korea, so you can find cold noodles and rice cakes. Restaurants in the county town serve Korean-style cuisine, which is affordable when paired with local barbecue. Chestnuts and grapes are in season during autumn and are sold at roadside stalls. 🍁 [Autumn in Ji'an] Ji'an has one of the mildest climates in Jilin, with autumn arriving late and a long foliage season. Visit the ruins in mid-to-late October, where the red leaves serve as a backdrop, adding a touch of autumn color to the sense of history. 📌 [Practical tips] Many Goguryeo ruins sites sell tickets separately, so check for package deals. There are cultural relic protection requirements for visiting the mural tombs, so please follow the on-site instructions. The urban area of Ji'an is small, but the attractions are scattered, so don't overpack your itinerary. Opening hours are subject to the latest announcements from the scenic spots.

Tengchong, Ji'an, or Chadong: Which of these three border towns should you choose? — traveler post in Ji'an

Tengchong, Ji'an, or Chadong: Which of these three border towns should you choose?

I often receive direct messages asking, "I want to spend a few days in a small border town. Should I choose Tengchong, Ji'an, or Chadong?" I've visited all three, and their styles are completely different. This article doesn't recommend the "best" one, but rather helps you find the one that's "best for you." Question 1: Where are you departing from Departing from the south → Tengchong. Kunming, Chongqing, and Chengdu all have direct flights to Tengchong Tuofeng Airport. A taxi from the airport to Heshun Ancient Town costs 30 yuan. You can take a high-speed train to Baoshan Station, then transfer to a bus for a 1.5-hour ride to Tengchong, costing 50 yuan. Departing from the north → Ji'an. Ji'an is in Tonghua, Jilin. Take a high-speed train to Tonghua Station, then transfer to reach it. If driving, take the G331 border highway, with the Yalu River scenery accompanying you along the way. Departing from central China → Chadong. Chadong is in Huayuan County, Xiangxi, Hunan. Take a high-speed train to Jishou or Tongren Station, then share a ride for 1 hour directly to the ancient town, costing about 50 yuan per person. If driving, navigate to "Chadong Tourist Center"; parking is 10 yuan per day. Question 2: What kind of trip are you looking for For volcanic hot springs + slow-paced ancient town life → Tengchong Tengchong has 99 volcanoes, over 240 natural hot springs, and the 600-year-old Heshun Ancient Town. Admission to Heshun is 55 yuan, allowing unlimited entry within 7 days. Staying at a guesthouse in the ancient town can also waive the admission fee. At the Rehai Scenic Area, you can boil eggs in the 98°C "Big Boiling Pot" hot spring; 3 eggs cost 10 yuan and are tender and flavorful. At the Volcano Geopark, you can take a hot air balloon to overlook the volcanic cluster for 280 yuan per person (seasonal/peak season only). Heshun Ancient Town itself has zero commercialization, with lotus ponds, ancient houses, and bluestone paths, offering a healing, slow-paced life everywhere. In the early morning, mist drifts over the rice paddies, and in the evening, the sunset reflects on the lotus ponds. It is recommended to spend 1–2 days in the ancient town and stay for one night to experience the morning and dusk. A classic route is Heshun Library > Shuanghong Bridge > Ai Siqi Former Residence > strolling through the alleys > watching the sunset at the lotus pond in the evening. ⚠️ Tips to avoid pitfalls: Don't ride an electric scooter on the ancient town's stone paths; it will be so bumpy you'll question your life choices. The stone paths are slippery during the rainy season, so walk carefully. Ignore private guides on the street; they will take you to jade shops. Don't buy jade on the street randomly. For border scenery + World Heritage sites → Ji'an Ji'an is the most "eclectic" small border town in Northeast China. Across the Yalu River is North Korea, and the Goguryeo ruins are a World Heritage site. The Tomb of King Jangsu is called the "Oriental Pyramid"; the massive stone construction is spectacular, and there are so few tourists that you can quietly walk around it three times. The Gwanggaeto Stele has stood for 1,600 years, and the inscription is still clearly legible. Wunv Peak National Forest Park is 20 km from the city center and has a very high forest coverage rate. We recommend taking the canyon waterfall route, which takes about 2 hours, where you'll practically have the whole valley to yourself. After coming down the mountain, you can go rafting at Yangyushi. This is a border river rafting experience with gentle currents, allowing you to quietly watch the scenery of North Korea on the other side. It's not thrilling, but it's very healing. ⚠️ Tips to avoid pitfalls: It's recommended to hire a guide for the Goguryeo ruins, otherwise it's just a pile of rocks. There is no commercial development inside the Wunv Peak scenic area, so bring your own food. Attractions in Ji'an are scattered, so driving or chartering a car is most convenient. For literary atmosphere + ultimate value for money → Chadong Chadong is the original setting of Shen Congwen's "The Border Town." The entire ancient town is free, with no general admission ticket. The most classic experience is the 2-yuan "pull-pull ferry"—no engine is used; the boatman pulls a steel cable to cross the river, taking 3 minutes to get from Hunan to Hong'an Ancient Town in Chongqing. Standing at the three-province boundary marker, with your left foot in Hunan and your right foot in Chongqing, you can look up and see the mountains of Guizhou, while your phone's location switches back and forth. The ancient town is full of Ming and Qing dynasty stilt houses along the river, with bluestone paths winding along the water. Locals wash clothes and chat by the river, creating an authentic Xiangxi atmosphere. ⚠️ Tips to avoid pitfalls: The stone paths have a lot of moss, so wear flat shoes. There are no hidden costs throughout the trip. Refuse high-priced boat tours solicited on the street and prioritize the official "pull-pull ferry." If you want a quiet getaway, it's recommended to stay for one night; the evening breeze by the river will heal all your fatigue. Question 3: What is your budget Budget 1,000–2,000 yuan → Chadong. A two-day trip costs around 500 yuan. Riverside stilt guesthouses start at 98 yuan, with windows opening directly to the Qingshui River. You can eat well at small riverside shops for an average of 50 yuan per person. Budget 2,000–3,500 yuan → Ji'an. Choose accommodation by the Yalu River or near the morning market. Dining offers great value; for the Korean-style fire pot, a small portion is enough for 2–3 people. Budget 3,000–5,000 yuan → Tengchong. A 4-day, 3-night trip costs 1,800–3,000 yuan per person, excluding major transportation. Chartering a car for 300 yuan a day is the most worry-free option. Accommodation in Heshun Ancient Town guesthouses costs 150–260 yuan per night, and staying there can also waive the 55-yuan admission fee. 📌 Summary in one sentence Want to soak in hot springs and explore ancient towns → Tengchong, want to see border ruins → Ji'an, want to spend the least money and space out for the longest time → Chadong. None of the three towns are large, so 3 days is just right, but each is worth staying an extra day.

Traveling solo? These six cities won't leave you bored — traveler post in Ji'an

Traveling solo? These six cities won't leave you bored

Chengdu is best experienced at a slower pace. Spend your day exploring old streets and neighborhoods, soaking in the relaxed vibe of teahouses and the local charm of street-side shops. When you're tired, find a café, sit down, and give yourself some unhurried downtime. Dedicate your afternoon to a museum or a cultural space, and head to a night market in the evening to soak up the energy. Don't worry about hitting every tourist spot; leaving room for spontaneity is what Chengdu is all about. The highlight of Quanzhou lies in the diverse life found within its alleys. As you wander alone, observe the city's texture, where ancient houses, arcades, temples, and snack stalls coexist. Feel free to duck into a café and see how old architecture embraces new life. Save museums for the afternoon, and dedicate your evenings to night markets and local snacks. This city is best explored by just walking around—there's no need to chase a "must-visit" checklist. Jingdezhen is perfect for those who love handicrafts, ceramics, and quiet observation. Spend your day browsing ceramics-focused districts and museums to see how clay is transformed into everyday objects. In the afternoon, find a café with a view to organize your photos and jot down some travel notes. In the evening, head to a night market or bazaar to soak up the youthful atmosphere. Remember, the city's charm is something to be discovered slowly—don't fill your schedule just with shopping. The sense of solitude in Dali comes from the breadth of nature and daily life. You can stroll through the ancient town's alleys, find a café to people-watch, or dedicate a morning to a museum or small exhibition, making your trip about more than just the scenery. Explore the night markets in the evening and enjoy the relaxed local sounds. Weather and energy levels can fluctuate, so build some flexibility into your outdoor plans and don't overschedule your days. Qingdao is perfect for switching between street views and sea breezes. Spend your day visiting old buildings, city blocks, and museums, stopping at any café that catches your eye along the way. Reserve the evening for the seaside or the nightscape, and grab a hot bite at a night market later on. The beauty of solo travel is that you can adjust your pace based on the wind and light. If the weather changes, prioritize indoor cultural venues and wandering through city blocks. Xi'an is rich in content, so it's best to experience its historical sites and contemporary life separately. Choose a museum for the day, then slowly wander into the alleys to see the daily life interwoven with old city gates, bookstores, and small shops. After dusk, head to a night market to eat and feel the city's pulse. There's a lot of popular content, so don't feel the need to cover it all; pick one or two highlights and leave the rest of your time for casual strolling—it's much more comfortable that way. For practical planning, you can structure three days in any of these cities around "one core cultural site, one alleyway stroll, one café visit, and one night market experience," then adjust based on weather and energy levels. For solo travel, I recommend staying in a residential area with convenient public transport and a mature nightlife scene. Travel light during the day and keep your valuables with you. Be sure to check official information for specific venues and markets before you head out. The common advantage of these six cities is that they offer plenty of entry points for observation, even when you're alone. Their differences lie in their character: Chengdu is relaxed, Quanzhou is about alleys, Jingdezhen is about ceramics, Dali is about nature, Qingdao is about sea breezes, and Xi'an is about history. If you want a low-stress trip, choose a city with a strong sense of daily life; if you want content density, choose a place with more concentrated museums and night markets. When you set off alone, you don't need to prove how far you've traveled. Being able to see the city at your own pace is already worth it.

Arriving in Ji'an at the foot of the mountain city, the millennium ancient tomb group shook me — traveler post in Ji'an

Arriving in Ji'an at the foot of the mountain city, the millennium ancient tomb group shook me

Ji'an is truly addictive. Before coming, I thought it was just a small summer resort town in Northeast China. After arriving, I discovered: The millennium code of Goguryeo + the border aesthetics of the Yalu River + 22-degree summer These three things combined have overwhelming impact. First, a little-known fact 👇 Ji'an is the only city in Jilin Province with a World Cultural Heritage site. Yes, the only one. The Goguryeo Royal City, Royal Tombs, and Nobles' Ancient Tombs were inscribed on the UNESCO list in 2004. But very few people know about it, which means visiting in July is basically like having the place all to yourself. 📍 Goguryeo Relics Scenic Area (5A) Includes the Tomb of King Changsu + Stele of King Gwanggaeto + Wandu Mountain City I recommend buying a combined ticket; it's more cost-effective than buying separately. Be sure to hire a guide!! Without explanation, it’s just a bunch of stones, but after the tour, your DNA will be moved. Tomb of King Changsu — "The Eastern Pyramid" Built in the 5th century AD, entirely stone structure. Standing underneath looking up, the sense of pressure is something photos can’t capture. How did people 1,500 years ago stack such huge stones into a cone shape? I stood beside it for ten minutes and still couldn’t figure it out. Stele of King Gwanggaeto — "The First Stele of the East" One of the largest stone steles in China still existing. All four sides are carved with Chinese clerical script. It records the founding myth and war history of Goguryeo. ⚠️ Tip: The stele is covered by a protective shield, which causes serious glare in photos. I suggest going right at 8:30 AM when it opens, as the slanting light then minimizes reflections. Wandu Mountain City — my personal favorite The capital ruins from the middle to late Goguryeo period. The entire mountain city is wrapped in greenery; walking inside feels like time traveling. Stone steps run alongside streams; stepping into the water in July to cool off is amazing. ⚠️ There is a steep section on the mountain path, wear sneakers! Don’t wear skirts. Don’t ask me how I know. 📍 Ji'an City Museum Free! Free! Free! The best place to systematically understand Goguryeo culture. I recommend visiting the museum first to get a foundation before going to the relics, otherwise you’ll be totally confused at the site. Inside, there is a 1:1 replica of a Goguryeo mural tomb. The colors from 1,500 years ago are so vivid they seem unreal. 📍 Wunv Peak National Forest Park (4A) Forest coverage rate is 94.5%, truly a "natural oxygen bar." Total area is 6,867 hectares, larger than many cities. Each of the five peaks has its own character; no need to climb them all. For those with average stamina, take the "Xiunu Peak + Valley Spring" route. About 2-3 hours, moderate difficulty. ⚠️ Open from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM; no entry after 2 PM. Don’t sleep in and miss the time! It’s 5-8 degrees cooler in the mountains than in the city, bring a light jacket. 📍 Yajianggu Winery A national 3A scenic spot located in the heart of the top mountain grape ice wine producing area. Ji'an is known as the "Hometown of Chinese Mountain Grapes." The "Beibinghong" variety ice wine here has won world-class awards. You can taste and buy it here, prices are cheaper than outside. ⚠️ Don’t drive after tasting wine; arrange a designated driver or stay in the area for the afternoon. 📍 Qingshi Town Yunji Waterfront I highly recommend this spot!! The entire riverside area of Wangjiang Village has been developed into a comprehensive resort. Tent camping + container homestays + RV campsites. Barbecue and tea by the riverside fire pit, with North Korea’s mountains right across the river. The evening breeze in July blows over the river, carrying the moist scent of aquatic plants. Just sitting there doing nothing, your mind automatically starts playing movies. 📍 Ji'an Morning Market West side of Huaming Holiday Hotel Known as the "real-life Qingming Riverside Scene." 6:30 to 8:00 AM is the least crowded time. Fried dough sticks, soy milk, sour soup noodles, ginseng, blueberries, wild vegetables. ⚠️ Bargain! You must bargain! Especially for fruits and dried goods. Ask around for prices before buying; don’t buy at the first stall. 📍 Dajita Cultural Street Filming location for the movie "Dapeng," now a landmark of Ji'an. Take photos and check in during the day; it turns into a night market at night. Barbecue + craft beer + live music; this is the small town’s nightlife. The atmosphere is great, but I don’t recommend staying too late. After all, you have to climb mountains the next day. Some practical info summary 👇 🚗 Best to drive yourself; attractions are far apart, public transport is unrealistic. 🌡️ July average temperature 22-26°C, big temperature difference between day and night, bring a light jacket. ☀️ Strong UV rays; sunscreen, sunglasses, and hat are must-haves. 📱 Some border areas have weak signal; download offline maps in advance. 💰 Overall expenses are low; 1,500 RMB per person for three days and two nights is enough for a great trip. Stayed at a hidden resort on the border line in Ji'an, it was so healing. — traveler post in Ji'an

Stayed at a hidden resort on the border line in Ji'an, it was so healing.

"Master, is that really North Korea across the river?" "Of course, look at the smoke coming from the mountain over there, they're cooking." I leaned on the guardrail of G331 highway, holding a telescope to look across the river. The narrowest part of the Yalu River is only about a hundred meters wide. Farmers on the North Korean side were driving oxen to plow the hillside, the scene looked at least thirty years behind ours. The G331 border highway runs from Dandong along the China-North Korea border to Ji'an, then extends westward. This time I only drove the Ji'an section, but it’s enough for me to brag about for a year. This article will be written differently, organized as "A few things I did in Ji'an." 🔹 Drove along the most beautiful border line on G331 The Ji'an section of G331 runs along the Yalu River, with mountains on the left and the river on the right, and North Korea on the opposite bank. In July, the vegetation grows wildly, with lush greenery covering both sides of the road, and opening the car window fills the air with the fresh scent of plants. Some sections pass by barbed wire and border guard posts, don’t stop or take photos, just drive normally. I drove about 60 kilometers of the best part, and could stop anytime along the river to sit and relax. 🔹 Drifted on Yunfeng Lake for an entire afternoon Yunfeng Lake is northeast of Ji'an, a reservoir on the Yalu River. Taking a boat into the lake area, steep canyons on both sides, the water is an unbelievably clear green. In July, the water volume is abundant, and the boat captain said this is the best time to see it this year. There’s almost no commercial development, just a boat, water, and green mountains on both sides—so pure it feels unreal. 🔹 Climbed Wunv Peak until I doubted my life choices The stairs from Yixiantian upwards made my thighs tremble with soreness. But when I reached the top of Tiannv Peak and looked over the vast forest sea—it was worth it. In July, Wunv Peak is covered with layers of green—dark green, light green, yellow-green, ink green—blanketing the entire mountain. On the way down, I took another path passing a group of waterfalls, the water flow was small but winding and delicate, perfect for a slow walk. My mom just messaged asking if I went wild again, I replied "In a meeting." 🔹 Entered the Goguryeo mural tombs This must be said separately—it was so stunning. The murals in the Changchuan No.1 tomb in Ji'an depict acrobatics, dancing, and music from 1600 years ago. The colors are so vivid you’d think they were painted just a few years ago, but carbon-14 dating confirms they are from the 4th-5th century AD. It’s rightly called the "Dunhuang of Northeast Asia." ⚠️ Some mural tombs require reservations and are not open year-round, check before you go. 🔹 Spent a night at Ji'an night market The night market next to Dajita Square, with the smoke from grilled skewers and beer foam as standard. People in Ji'an really come out to live at night—bringing their families, setting up small tables, grilling meat, fish, and cold noodles. The Korean-style brazier is a must-order, with a cast iron pan piled high with various meats and vegetables, charcoal fire underneath sizzling with oil. Follow it with a glass of locally produced Ji'an ice wine, a 22°C summer night, just the right amount of tipsy. 🔹 Rushed to the morning market at dawn to grab the first pot of rice wine The Ji'an morning market opens at 3 a.m., which still feels unbelievable to me. But locals really go at 3 a.m. When I arrived at 4:30 a.m., it was already packed. The Korean ethnic rice wine is freshly brewed, warm, slightly sweet and sour, one bowl warms you from the inside out. I also bought ginseng, pine nuts, and dried white peaches, almost couldn’t fit them in my suitcase. ❗ Travel tips 🚗 Strongly recommend self-driving, the scenery along G331 is the highlight 🆔 Always carry your ID in border areas 📶 Near the border, your phone may pick up North Korean signals, turn off data roaming 🌡️ July daytime temperature 22-26°C, it’s windy by the river, bring a jacket 💰 About 2000-3000 RMB per person for 3 days (excluding major transportation) Accommodation 🏨 Xiangzhou Garden Hotel (Ji'an Yalu River Branch) The riverfront view faces the silhouette of the North Korean mountains, the heated pool and free gym are above standard for a small border town, and the light show at Dajita Square can be enjoyed from the balcony with a VIP perspective. 🏨 Ji'an Yalu River Valley Hotel A hotel in a winery, surrounded by vineyards and river valleys, six kilometers from the city center, which is actually an advantage—at night it’s so quiet you only hear insects and water, perfect for complete relaxation. 🏨 Ji'an Heyue Hotel The most spacious rooms among high-end city hotels, incredibly quiet at night, family rooms with slides are a joy for kids, and the laundry room is very practical for trips longer than three days. 🏨 Ji'an Huaming Holiday Hotel The morning market, night market, and Yalu River are all within walking distance, location is the biggest selling point, the retro photo style is highly photogenic, and the café is perfect for a lazy afternoon.

Yalu River National Gate Scenic Area

This is one of the few national gateway scenic areas in China that simultaneously boasts both railway and highway ports; it's also home to the first crossing point during the Korean War; visitors can see the railway gateway and the former bridgehead ruins, and enjoy panoramic views of Manpo, North Korea, from the riverbank; they can also take a cruise to get a closer look at the opposite bank, creating a strong historical atmosphere.

Koguryo Kingdom Relics Park scenic area

A great place to learn about the history of Goguryeo, including the Stele of King Gwanggaeto, the Tomb of King Jangsu, and Wandu Mountain Fortress. The 5A-level scenic area has good service, but each attraction is somewhat limited, so you'll finish visiting them quickly.

Wunyu Peaks National Forest Park

It's a 4A scenic area, definitely worth seeing. The people of Ji'an are incredibly hospitable, and the border town is quite clean, tidy, and orderly. The scenery at Wunü Peak is also nice, although it's not yet the season for red maple leaves. The electric cart ride for 30 yuan is definitely worthwhile; it's inexpensive, saves a lot of energy compared to walking the mountain paths, and is very convenient for the elderly.

Wandu Mountain City

You can see a burial complex dating back approximately 1500 years and remnants of city walls from about 1700 years ago, but only the foundations of the palace remain. It seems the view overlooking the burial complex from above the hilltop is currently closed, so without this perspective, the burial complex isn't as spectacular as it appears.

King Jangsu's Tomb

The "Oriental Pyramid" truly lives up to its name. Very few above-ground structures in China have survived from the 5th century to the present day. It is said that there were once murals there, but they were stolen by criminals.

Gwanggaeto Stele

In Korea, he was known as King Gwanggaeto. During his reign, Goguryeo expanded in all directions, defeating the Buyeo tribe, Baekje, Later Yan, and Japanese pirates, making Goguryeo a minor hegemon in Northeast China. The difference in burial style between Goguryeo and that of the Central Plains reflects the significant influence of shamanism on Goguryeo's religion at that time.

Ji'an Museum

The Ji'an Museum isn't large, but as a museum themed around Goguryeo civilization, its collection of artifacts with strong ethnic characteristics is still a pleasant surprise.

Yalu River Border Railway Bridge

The Yalu River Border Railway Bridge has a special historical significance. It witnessed the important transportation exchanges during the War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea and was the "first crossing during the War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea". Standing on the bridge, you can "cross the border between the two countries in one step", enjoy the scenery on both sides of the Yalu River, experience the different views of China and North Korea, and review that magnificent history during the visit, and receive patriotic education. It is a special scenic spot with both history and landscape.

Ji'an Giant Guitar-Themed Square

I saw this city in the guide. I specially thought of the Sewing Machine Band when I went to the Big Guitar Square. I especially liked the scenery on both sides of Ji'an.
