PPBS162012: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a very pleasant stay at Hilton Garden Inn Yingkou and would highly recommend it for both business and short stays. The hotel is located in the city centre, which makes it very convenient for business trips and daily travel. One of the great advantages is the 24-hour self-service laundry facility for hotel guests, which is especially helpful for longer stays. This time, I would also like to give special thanks to the Duty Manager at the front desk for the warm assistance during my check-in process. The professionalism and hospitality were truly appreciated. I would also like to compliment the restaurant team. The breakfast service was excellent, with fresh and good-quality food, and the service attitude of the staff added extra value to the overall experience. The dining environment was comfortable and well managed, which definitely gave the hotel an additional positive mark. Overall, it is a reliable Hilton standard hotel with good service, a convenient location, and a comfortable stay experience.

TTracy Ridley: I love this hotel. The reception area is beautiful with carp coy/ fish and a sweeping staircase leading to the restaurant . There's a cool bar with piano ( closed off at times) a hairdresser on site . Room is spacious and all the usual tea, coffee , water , fridge . Clean , comfy , reat shower , WiFi works perfectly. Breakfast is exceptional. Such a wide variety of dishes and the restaurant has big windows to see out to the busy crossroads below. You can also see the Temple , pagoda and the park entrance. It's a beautiful park ..well worth a visit , especially early morning to see locals doing tai chi etc. Opposite reception is a great bar , Rose Tavern that sometimes has live music . Turn right you'll see the Hilton hotel and there's a great pizza place within that building . Streets have convenience stores, flower shops , opticians quite a few salons . Left out of reception and straight on to the next busy crossroads there's Full mart supermarket . You're also fifteen minutes walk to the waterside promenade , church , and a great coffee shop inside the International hotel 15 mins from hotel to Wanda Plaza. I highly recommend a visit .

GGuest User: This is a new hotel, and I was very pleased with how clean, tidy, and quiet the room was. The staff were all very friendly and had a strong service-oriented mindset, always proactive in helping. The only minor drawback was the absence of a refrigerator in the room, which can be a bit inconvenient during summer. Overall, the good points far outweigh this small issue, and I'm very satisfied.

SShengjingshiye: 🌈 Location: Near Wanda Plaza, it is very convenient to go anywhere, you can park in front of the door, but you need to take a chance. 🌈 Environmental sanitation facilities: It is not bad with most other hotel chains, and it is quite satisfactory. 🌈 Service: There was a small situation at check-in, and the room arranged was not cleaned at all. To be honest, it shouldn't be. Fortunately, the solution and speed at the front desk are quite satisfactory! 🌈 Summary: Inexpensive and well-regulated hotel chain, the service needs to be improved, but the solution is worthy of praise!

GGuest User: Stayed at Zhongtian International Hotel with a friend yesterday. I'd requested a smoke-free room and an iron/steamer in advance, and was happy to see the staff had already prepared everything upon check-in – very thoughtful! The room was spacious and clean. The front desk staff was very kind and helpful, and they were able to switch me to the same room type as my colleague. The breakfast was also excellent with a wide variety of choices. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great stay; it definitely deserves a five-star rating!

Want to eat like a local? Don't miss out on these top Yingkou dishes and foodie spots.

Many people visiting Liaoning aren't sure how to plan their route. This region offers autumn mountains covered in red leaves, the endless Red Beach, Dalian's coastal scenery, and Shenyang's historical sites. This loop route avoids backtracking, has a well-balanced pace, and covers transportation, accommodation, budget, and tips to avoid tourist traps. If you're planning an autumn trip to Northeast China, save this guide. 📌 Overall Route: Shenyang → Benxi → Dandong → Panjin → Dalian 💡 Quick Tip: High-speed rail is convenient between cities. Public transport to scenic spots in the Benxi mountains is limited, so chartering a car or driving yourself is recommended for a stress-free trip. 🗓 Day 1 Shenyang | Explore the Imperial City and experience the local vibe of old Shengjing ✅ Itinerary Shenyang Imperial Palace → Zhang Xueliang's Mansion → Beiling Park → Liaoning Provincial Museum. In the evening, visit the Xita or Laobeishi night markets. · Shenyang Imperial Palace: The only royal palace outside the Great Wall. The red walls are great for photos. Plan for about 2 hours. It is closed on Mondays, so remember to book in advance. · Zhang Xueliang's Mansion: Located next to the Imperial Palace, the Big and Small Qing Buildings have a strong sense of history and offer insight into modern Northeast Chinese history. · Beiling Park: The pine trees turn golden in autumn, making it a very comfortable place for a walk. · Liaoning Provincial Museum: Free, but requires a booking. Be sure to see the "Court Ladies Wearing Flowered Headdresses" painting. Allow 2 hours to explore at a leisurely pace. 🍜 What to eat: Smoked chicken rack, old-style guobaorou (sweet and sour pork), Laobian dumplings, Li Liangui smoked meat pancakes, Korean cold noodles, and Korean BBQ. 🏨 Accommodation & Budget Reference We recommend staying near Zhongjie or Qingnian Street, where subway access makes it easy to get anywhere. Budget hotel: CNY 220–350/night; Quality chain hotel: CNY 380–550/night 💡 Tip: There is a large temperature difference in Shenyang, so bring a jacket for the evening. The museum, Imperial Palace, and Zhang Xueliang's Mansion are closed on Mondays, so plan accordingly. 🗓 Day 2 Benxi | Maple Leaf Capital, a must-visit in autumn (best from late September to mid-October) ✅ Itinerary Benxi Water Cave → Guanmenshan National Forest Park → Laobiangou/Dashihu. On the way, stop by the Benhuan Highway (China Maple Leaf Avenue). · Benxi Water Cave: A cave with a constant temperature of 12℃. Take a boat through the underground river. It's suitable for both summer and autumn, and the scenic area provides light jackets. · Guanmenshan: A popular spot for viewing red leaves. The reflection in the Five-Color Lake is particularly beautiful, and the hiking difficulty is low. · Laobiangou and Dashihu: Fewer crowds than Guanmenshan. The streams paired with red leaves and the morning mist create a perfect atmosphere. A favorite for photography enthusiasts. · Benhuan Highway: Free roadside colorful forests. You can briefly park in safe areas to take photos. 🍜 What to eat: Xiaoshi lamb soup, grilled rainbow trout, and Benxi pancakes. We recommend staying in Xiaoshi and having a bowl of hot lamb soup in the evening. 🏨 Accommodation & Budget Reference There are many accommodation options in Xiaoshi town. Budget guesthouse: CNY 180–300/night; Scenic guesthouse: CNY 320–500/night 💡 Tip: Check the red leaf index before you go, as the leaves are heavily influenced by temperature. The mountain paths can be wet and slippery, so be sure to wear non-slip shoes. Visit after October 8 to avoid the crowds for a better experience. 🗓 Day 3 Dandong | Border town, enjoy the scenery of the Yalu River ✅ Itinerary Yalu River Broken Bridge → War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea Memorial Hall → Hushan Great Wall → Andong Old Street · Yalu River Broken Bridge: An old bridge marked by history. We recommend visiting after 3:00 PM for beautiful sunset photos. You can also take a boat tour on the river. · War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea Memorial Hall: Free, but requires a booking. Please remain quiet and respectful during your visit. We recommend allowing 2 hours. · Hushan Great Wall: The eastern starting point of the Ming Great Wall. Climb the wall for a bird's-eye view of the Yalu River. · Andong Old Street: A Republic of China-style district with many Korean-style snacks. 🍜 What to eat: Grilled yellow clams, clam noodles, Korean rice cakes, and kimchi. 🏨 Accommodation & Budget Reference We recommend staying near the Yalu River or in the Zhenxing District for convenient travel. Budget hotel: CNY 200–320/night; River-view room: CNY 350–550/night 💡 Tip: Drone photography is restricted in border areas, so please follow local regulations. It is very windy by the river, so bring a windbreaker. 🗓 Day 4 Panjin | Romantic Red Beach (peak season from mid-September to mid-October) ✅ Itinerary Red Beach National Scenic Corridor → Rice Dream Space · Red Beach: Vast stretches of red seepweed paired with golden rice paddies. It is most beautiful at sunset. Private cars are not allowed in the corridor, so you will need to take the sightseeing bus. Enter in the afternoon to avoid the harsh sunlight. · Rice Dream Space: Giant rice paddy art, full of Northeast Chinese autumn countryside scenery. 🍜 What to eat: Rice paddy crabs and Panjin rice. The crabs are plump and delicious in autumn and are worth a try. 🏨 Accommodation & Budget Reference Dawa District is closer to the scenic area. Standard hotel: CNY 160–280/night 💡 Tip: The boardwalk is very long, so wear comfortable shoes. There are many mosquitoes by the sea, so bring repellent. The seepweed withers after November and you won't be able to see the Red Beach, so you can skip Panjin during that time. 🗓 Day 5–Day 6 Dalian | Coastal leisure, enjoy the sea and ocean breeze ✅ Itinerary Xinghai Square → Binhai Road → Golden Pebble Beach → Lushun Taiyanggou → Russian Style Street · Xinghai Square: A massive seaside square with a great view of the coastline. · Binhai Road: Nestled between mountains and the sea, the wooden boardwalk is perfect for walking. We don't recommend walking the entire route; just do it in sections. · Golden Pebble Beach: Coastal rock formations, perfect for viewing the sea and taking photos. · Taiyanggou: In autumn, the old houses paired with colorful leaves make for unique photos, and it's not very crowded. 🍜 What to eat: Seafood menzi, sea urchin dumplings, and various fresh seafood. 🏨 Accommodation & Budget Reference We recommend staying near Xinghai or Shahekou for convenient sightseeing and sea views. Budget hotel: CNY 240–380/night; Sea-view hotel: CNY 400–700/night 💡 Tip: The seafood quality is excellent in September and October. It is windy by the sea, so keep warm. 💰 Estimated Budget per Person (6 days, 5 nights, excluding round-trip transportation) Budget-friendly version: CNY 1,600–2,100, including budget accommodation, simple meals, and public transport; some scenic spots not included. Comfort version: CNY 2,600–3,400, including chain/scenic guesthouses, all local specialties, and most scenic spot admission tickets and shuttle buses. ✨ General Travel Tips for Liaoning ✅ Clothing: September–October has a large temperature difference between day and night, so bring long sleeves and a windbreaker. November–December is very cold, so bring a thick down jacket, scarf, gloves, and non-slip shoes. ✅ Transportation: High-speed rail connects major cities. For the Benxi mountain area, chartering a car or driving yourself is preferred. ✅ Avoiding traps: Be cautious with low-priced one-day tours for Red Beach, maple leaves, and border areas. Book tickets through official channels and be rational when purchasing high-priced local specialties at scenic area entrances. ✅ Alternatives: If you get tired on the road, you can plan a hot spring visit. Yingkou and Anshan have well-regarded hot springs that are great for relieving fatigue. One loop route, all the red leaves, red beach, ocean, and ancient cities in one trip. Are you more excited to see the red leaves in Benxi or the Red Beach in Panjin this autumn?

Stepping into a Jiangnan dreamscape | Wangyuan Hot Spring Homestay, a place you won't want to leave✨ Seeking a Jiangnan courtyard to escape the hustle and bustle of the city, I finally stayed at the Wangyuan Hot Spring Homestay I've been dreaming of🌿 With white walls and dark tiles, winding paths and corridors, stepping through the gate instantly shuts out the noise of the outside world. The entire homestay features an exquisite Jiangnan garden layout, with pavilions, fish ponds, rockeries, and greenery arranged in perfect harmony. Every step reveals a new view, and every corner hides the unique poetic charm of a Chinese-style courtyard. Bluestone-paved paths wind ahead, and the courtyard is lush with flowers and trees. As the breeze blows, the leaves rustle. There's no need to travel far to an ancient town; here, you can immerse yourself in the unique, gentle tranquility of a Jiangnan courtyard. The rooms continue the new Chinese style, elegant and warm, with large windows framing the courtyard scenery. Open the window to see the lush greenery, sit by the window, and quietly watch the clouds drift by. The biggest surprise is the private hot spring. After a day of traveling, soaking in the warm hot spring pool washes away the fatigue of the journey, and all stress slowly dissipates. In the morning, wake up slowly to the sound of birds and the scent of flowers. Step out of your room and stroll through the courtyard; mist lingers in the garden, and the air is fresh and moist. Every photo you take looks like a stunning traditional Chinese-style shot. In the afternoon, sit under the corridor to drink tea and watch the koi swimming in the pond. Time flows slowly here—no need to rush your itinerary or head to the next check-in spot, just relax and enjoy the passing time. In the evening, the courtyard lights up with warm tones, and the elegant courtyard instantly gains a touch of gentle atmosphere. You can sit and chat with family and friends in the courtyard, enjoying a slow-paced vacation. Whether it's a short weekend getaway to escape the city, a trip with best friends, or a small family gathering, Wangyuan Hot Spring Homestay is a great choice. Hidden away from the world, yet far from the chaos, staying in this Jiangnan courtyard, I finally understand: once you come, you really don't want to leave.

Panjin in October is definitely one of the most unearthly places in China 🌍 The seepweed turns into a sea of red, paired with golden reed marshes and blue skies—it's like God spilled a palette! 🎨 Early October is the peak period when the color is most saturated, so miss it and you'll have to wait a year! Day 1️⃣ Red Beach main event 📍Red Beach National Scenic Corridor (CNY 80 + sightseeing bus CNY 35) 🌟I recommend entering at 3:00 PM. The red is deepest one hour before sunset! Photos will be legendary 📸 →Wolong Lake Pier →Xiaodao Xianqing →Love Declaration Corridor Bridge →Stay near the scenic area at night 💡Honestly: Photos taken at noon look faded, but the red saturation is maxed out in the evening! Day 2️⃣ Wetlands and rice paddies 📍Dingxiang Ecological Tourism Area (CNY 60, reed marsh crane viewing + wetland boat tour) 🌟You must arrive before 7:00 AM to see the cranes! Once the sun rises, the cranes fly away. I arrived at 8:00 AM and only saw the water 😭 →Panjin Rice Production Area (golden autumn rice waves, October is the harvest season 🌾) →Liaohe Stele Forest (free) Day 3️⃣ Hot springs and departure 📍Panjin Red Beach Hot Spring (CNY 168, sodium bicarbonate spring) 🌟Your skin feels smooth after soaking. Soaking in the hot spring with your besties is just so relaxing 🧖♀️ →Buy Panjin river crabs at the river crab market (female crabs are fattest in October 🦀) →Departure 🍜 Hidden gem eats (where locals go) ① Erjiegou "Lao Yumin" river crab (CNY 120 per person; female crabs are full of roe in October, steamed is freshest, half the price of the scenic area) ② Xinglongtai "Laobian Dumpling Restaurant" seafood dumplings (CNY 45 per person; mantis shrimp filling is a local specialty) ③ Tianzhuangtai "Lao Hu Jia" stir-fried cattail shoots with meat (CNY 60 per person; Liaohe specialty cattail shoots, you can't eat this anywhere else) ⚠️ Pitfalls I encountered ① The color of the Red Beach changes three times a day: it looks dark red under the noon sun, purplish-red in the early morning, and brightest red one hour before sunset ② Seepweed starts turning red in late September, peaks in mid-October, and starts turning purple and black in late October; going too early or too late is not ideal ③ You must take the sightseeing bus inside the scenic area. Walking 18 km will exhaust you, and the ticket is only for a one-way loop ④ The river crab market in Erjiegou has aggressive touts. "Wild" crabs are basically all farmed, so don't get scammed ⑤ You must wake up early to see the cranes! I watched them fly away with my own eyes 😤 💰 Costs Red Beach CNY 115 + Dingxiang CNY 60 + hot spring CNY 168 = CNY 343/person; river crabs CNY 100–200/jin; 3-day average cost CNY 1,000–1,500 per person 💡 Tips You can arrive via Panjin Station or Yingkou Lanqi Airport; stay in Xinglongtai District (CNY 200–400/night). In October, daytime is 18°C and morning/evening is 6°C; it's windy so bring a jacket. I recommend vacuum-packing the river crabs to take home so you can enjoy them later 😋

For this trip to the Bayuquan seaside, I stayed at the Wanda Yi Hotel Yingkou. I've put together my honest experience to share with you all. 🛏️ Room experience We booked the Executive Deluxe Ocean View Twin Room, which is 40 sqm and located on the high floors (19–23). With two 1.35-meter beds, there is plenty of space for two people. The room type does not allow for extra beds, so those traveling in larger groups should keep this in mind. The room features a private ocean-view balcony and floor-to-ceiling windows 🪟. During the day, you can look out over the sea, and in the evening, you can sit by the window and wait for the sunset over the water—the view is excellent. The mattress is by Serta and feels quite soft, which is great for relaxing after a long day of travel. The toiletries are Acca Kappa, and there is a minibar available. The overall configuration feels quite high-quality. Wi-Fi is free, and the bathroom is fully stocked with toiletries. The package includes two buffet breakfasts, served from 6:30 AM–10:00 AM. Both Chinese and Western options are available, so you don't have to worry about missing breakfast if you wake up a bit late. 🏨 Hotel amenities The hotel opened in 2020, has a very recognizable architectural design, and the facilities are generally quite new. There are many family-friendly facilities here, including a well-equipped children's playground, making it suitable for a family vacation. The hotel also has designated photo spots, so you can wander around and take pictures 📸 during your leisure time. The location is at No. 7 Jinsha Beach Street, Bayuquan District. It is about 5 kilometers from the Bayuquan Railway Station, so driving here is much more convenient. As a hotel on the Liaoning Scenic Hotel list, the overall leisure atmosphere is great, making it perfect for a short weekend seaside getaway. 📍 Nearby attractions ✅ Baishawan Golden Coast: Not far from the hotel, the beach has fine sand. It is a very famous seaside beach in Bayuquan where you can take a walk, play in the water, and enjoy beautiful sunset views. ✅ Shanhai Square: A landmark attraction in Bayuquan. You can walk to the viewing platform to see the sea, the seaside boardwalk is perfect for an evening stroll, and there are many seafood snack shops. ✅ Yuelianghu Park: An urban coastal park where the lake connects to the sea. The park has plenty of greenery and is suitable for a relaxing walk after a meal. No admission ticket is required. ✅ Wang'er Mountain Scenic Area: A bit further away by car. It combines cultural and natural scenery. If you want to visit land-based attractions, you can add this to your itinerary. 💡 Personal tips 1. If you want to watch the sunset over the sea, I recommend choosing a high-floor ocean-view room. The higher the floor, the less obstruction there is, and the better the view. 2. There is a large temperature difference between day and night at the seaside. Even if you are traveling in the summer, it is recommended to bring a light jacket. 3. Rooms are in high demand during holidays, so it is recommended to book your room in advance if you are planning a trip.

Don’t want to spend the summer vacation rushing long distances and squeezing through crowds? Want to take the kids out while also relaxing yourself? This time, I found the perfect way to unwind near the coast in Yingkou🌊 Booked a seaside guesthouse nearby. Just a few steps out the door and you’re on the beach, saving the hassle of long travel. The yard has an infinity pool. The kids can play in the water for hours while we finally get a quiet break. The small yard offers self-service barbecue. Buy some fresh seafood and grill it on site, chatting with friends in the sea breeze—comfortable and carefree. In the evening, take a slow walk along the coastline and wait for Yingkou’s iconic sunset to dip into the sea. Take a few backlit silhouette shots—no need to worry about composition, every snap is full of charm. Got lucky and caught a beach music party; the sea breeze and singing instantly cooled the heat. When night falls, there are fireworks by the sea. Release sky lanterns with the kids and friends, writing down little wishes. The atmosphere is instantly magical. The highlight is the night tide! The guesthouse provides a guide, so it feels safe. You can rent all the tide-chasing tools on site—no need to bring your own. During the high tide, the catch is plentiful: flower crabs, cat’s eye snails, hermit crabs everywhere. Dingdong crouched on the mudflats, focused on searching, refusing to leave no matter how much we called. The whole trip moves at a leisurely pace, with no pressure to rush through sights. Spend time with the kids and catch up with friends. Sunset over the sea, seafood barbecue, tide chasing, fireworks—all arranged. This is the summer romance you’ve been looking for.

🌿 If you’re tired of the city heat and crowded popular beaches, you must visit Liaoning in the summer. Here, the sea is calm, the breeze is gentle, prices are affordable, and the pace is slow. Three days and two nights, from the lively old town of Yingkou to the blue coast of Bayuquan, and finally immersed in the romantic mountains and sea of Dalian. No rushing, just feeling—this is what summer should be like. ⚓️Day 1 Yingkou | explore the old street · watch the sea from the fort · dusk at the west coast Spend the first day in gentle, less crowded Yingkou, perfect for a slow start to summer. In the morning, stroll through Liaohe old street. The entire street is lined with late Qing Dynasty Western-style buildings, with green trees shading vintage brick walls. Sunlight filters through the leaves onto the bluestone pavement, creating a gentle and quiet atmosphere. This place isn’t over-commercialized and retains the original local vibe of old Yingkou. Just wandering around, you can feel the passage of time. In the afternoon, visit the west fort. This century-old fort faces the Liao River estuary, with a wide-open view that instantly relaxes you. On one side is a heavy, historic site; on the other, the endless river and sea flow. The sea breeze gently blows, and the summer heat quickly fades away. In the evening, head straight to the west coast beach. It’s quiet, clean, and uncrowded. Walk on the soft sand and watch the sun slowly sink into the sea. The sky changes from golden to pink and purple. The evening breeze carries the freshness of the sea, fully relaxing you on the first day. 💙Day 2 Bayuquan | seaside healing · photogenic stadium · water city nightscape Day two belongs to the romantic daylight and night views of Bohai Bay. The early morning at Bayuquan beach is truly healing. Facing the boundless Bohai Sea, the Bayuquan princess statue stands in the water, and the sea breeze blows away all worries. The morning sea is clean and clear, perfect for walking, taking photos, or daydreaming, enjoying a whole stretch of gentle ocean. In the afternoon, check out the popular Dalian Swordfish Bay professional soccer stadium. The blue and white massive structure backs onto the sea, truly the most beautiful coastal stadium. From the viewing platform, you can see the cross-sea bridge. Mountains, sea, bridge, and architecture all in one frame—every shot looks like a high-end movie scene, perfect for your social feed. At night, visit the Oriental Water City. When all the lights come on, the river winds and sparkles. European-style buildings reflect on the water, the evening breeze gently brushes your face, and a boat ride through the water alleys feels like stepping into a fairytale night—gentle and romantic. 🌊Day 3 Dalian | secret spot at Bangchuidao · ocean fun · sunset camping at the pier On the last day, immerse yourself in the gentle mountains and sea of Dalian. In the morning, visit Bangchuidao, the cleanest sea area in Dalian. Green mountains embrace the sea, the blue ocean meets the sky, and the island’s vegetation is lush. The water is clear and bright. Walk slowly along the coastal path, listen to the waves, and watch the mountains and sea blend together—quiet and healing. In the afternoon, explore Laohutan Ocean Park. Enter the blue underwater world and see adorable marine creatures swimming freely. The soothing blue and cute creatures bring joy and childlike wonder, whether you’re traveling alone or with company. In the evening, stroll along Fisherman’s Wharf. Vintage buildings, seaside fishing boats, and a century-old lighthouse create a full coastal artistic vibe. The sunset lights up the pier, blending fireworks and romance—gentle and photogenic. As night falls, head to Lingjiao Bay camping site for a seaside date. The U-shaped bay is gentle and quiet, with the evening breeze softly brushing the shore. Sit and watch the sunset glow and city lights slowly turn on. With mountains and sea as your companions and the breeze as your friend, this is the most comfortable summer night.

The breeze ripples through the layers, and birds rest and fly in the wetlands, full of life. Ride the rice field train through this scenic wonder, visit the love declaration corridor and the love dream bridge—romantic and healing. The real sight is breathtaking, far beyond what any camera can capture! There’s also the hidden gem Jinbotan Ocean Park🌊 Calling it the “Little Sanya of Liaonan” is no exaggeration! Soft, clean artificial beaches, clear water, gentle waves, shark nets, and shallow slopes make it super safe for kids to play in the water. This is one of the few northern coasts where you can watch both sunrise and sunset over the sea. Don’t want to be crowded during the Dragon Boat Festival holiday? I’ve been keeping this hidden Bohai Bay summer getaway secret for three years! No crowds like in Sanya, no commercialization like Qingdao, just silky golden sandy beaches that shine, sea breezes that touch your heart, and a refreshing temperature 8℃ cooler than the city. ✨Why choose this place for the Dragon Boat Festival? Temperature hit: Average daily temperature during the festival is 22-26℃, only 20℃ by the seaside in the evening, you’ll need a light blanket at night—truly a natural air-conditioned room. Fewer people, beautiful scenery: 90% of these spots are secret places known only to locals, avoiding the crowds of popular tourist sites. Diverse activities: Sea watching, tide chasing, mountain hiking, hot springs—experience mountains, sea, springs, and forests all in one trip. 📍Three days and two nights essential itinerary (Dragon Boat Festival special edition) Day 1: Coastal slow life・Chase an orange sea sunset Arrive in the morning and head straight to "Baishawan Golden Coast," known as the "No.1 Beach in Liaodong"—and it truly lives up to the name! The sand is as fine as flour, walking barefoot is comfortable, and the water is so clear you can see little crabs scurrying in the sand. Key tip: go after 4 PM to avoid the midday sun; the sunlight at this time is golden and perfect for photos. There’s a wooden boardwalk along the beach. Walk slowly along it, with the deep blue sea on your left and a windbreak forest on your right. The rustling leaves and the sound of waves blend into a healing melody that words can’t describe. During the Dragon Boat Festival, there’s a blessing event by the sea where you can release river lanterns on the beach, adding a special ritual feeling. Sunset golden hour is at 6:30 PM. Sit on the beach and watch the sun slowly sink below the horizon, the sky shifting from orange-gold to pink-purple, softening the whole world. Bring a picnic mat, buy some local peaches and apricots, and enjoy the sunset while snacking—this is what a vacation should feel like. Day 2: Mountain hiking and sea viewing・Unlock panoramic mountain and sea views On the second day, visit "Chishan," a hidden summer retreat known only to locals. The mountain isn’t high but is densely vegetated, and the entire hike is shaded, so you won’t get sunburned. There are seven natural caves on the mountain; don’t miss Fairy Cave and Heart-Piercing Cave. The caves maintain a constant 18℃ temperature, and standing at the entrance you’ll feel a refreshing coolness that’s even better than air conditioning. The summit viewing platform is the highlight of the trip! Enjoy a 360° unobstructed view of Bohai Bay, with fishing boats in the distance, beaches nearby, and rolling green mountains all around. The mountain breeze refreshes your spirit and blows away all worries. For the descent, take a different route through Shibapan Ridge, where wildflowers and streams make the walk especially pleasant. In the afternoon, visit "Shuangtaizi Hot Springs." After hiking, soaking in the hot springs is pure bliss. The spring water is naturally geothermal and rich in minerals, leaving your skin silky smooth. The outdoor hot spring pools are recommended—soak while stargazing. The Dragon Boat Festival night sky is especially clear, perfect for spotting the Milky Way. Day 3: Hidden coastline・Marvel at coastal erosion wonders On the last day, go to "Wanghaizhai Turtle Rock Beach," a newly rated 3A scenic spot with almost no tourists. The beach stretches over a thousand meters with unique coastal erosion landforms—rock walls and peaks arranged in a picturesque way. The famous "Turtle Rock" is incredibly lifelike, a natural masterpiece that amazes visitors. The seawater here is exceptionally clean. You can look for little crabs among the reefs or collect shells—kids will love it. There are many flat large rocks by the sea where you can sit and daydream, listening to the waves crashing against the rocks, as if time slows down. 💡Practical Tips for Dragon Boat Festival Travel 1. Clothing: Short sleeves + light jacket during the day; it’s windy by the sea, so bring long sleeves for morning and evening. 2. Sun protection: Strong UV rays by the sea—don’t forget sunscreen, hats, and sunglasses. 3. Tide chasing: The festival coincides with spring tides; low tide is around 6 AM and 5 PM. 4. Transportation: Self-driving is recommended; distances between spots are short and parking is convenient. 5. Avoid peak times: Depart on the morning of the first day to avoid highway rush hour; return on the afternoon of the third day. · -- Accommodation 🏨 Haiyu Hot Spring Resort Base A comprehensive resort combining camping rooms, hot springs, and leisure entertainment, located inside Baishawan Seaside Park. It was a perfect trip. The hotel also decorated the room thoughtfully for my baby's birthday. My baby loved it. Thumbs up! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻. My parents also enjoyed the experience. The hot springs were very comfortable. 🥳🥳🥳
M48***72Absolutely worth a visit! Different mountains and seas offer different scenery; the sea embraces all rivers, the sky and sea merge into one, the ocean encompasses everything! Stones formed over millions of years, waves rolling and churning!
134***42Speedboat 🚤, sailboat ⛵, sea supercar 🚗, Pikachu, big yellow duck 🦆, many water projects, you can appreciate the Bayu Princess up close 👸🏻. The sailboat circles the Bayu Princess, and the speedboat will stop to give you time to take pictures. Super awesome 👍🏻!
Anonymous userTaking you to appreciate the unique culture of hot springs, this is a business card of Yingkou. It can provide tourists with hot spring bathing and entertainment services of different grades, high, medium and low, without seasonal restrictions, especially in winter and summer!
duanThe service was excellent. Whether in the showers, the water park, or at the hotel front desk and housekeeping, every staff member I encountered was incredibly warm and proactive in resolving any issues. They responded quickly and efficiently. The service wasn't just perfunctory politeness, but the genuine warmth and hospitality of family. The price was reasonable, especially the breakfast, which far exceeded my expectations. Compared to the room rate, it was a real bargain.
M23***64The outdoor scenery of this hot spring is truly beautiful, the decor is very unique, and the activities are plentiful. The indoor area is relatively small. It's worth mentioning that the staff are all very welcoming and dedicated. Overall, the experience is even better when the weather is warmer, as the outdoor hot spring is truly stunning.
M29***22As the earliest trading port in Northeast China, the 1.3-kilometer old street preserves 31 century-old buildings that blend Chinese and Western architectural styles, making it a veritable "open-air museum." Visitors can appreciate the retro architectural style, taste local delicacies such as salted mud dumplings, and experience Northeast culture such as storytelling and crosstalk.
可爱的旅游生活89With "motherly love" as its core spirit, the site boasts a unique sea-eroded Danxia landform with a Liao-Jin brick pagoda on the mountaintop and a natural Mother Stone landscape on the mountainside. It is complemented by the only Mother Museum in China, blending profound cultural heritage with natural scenery.
可爱的旅游生活89Every tourist attraction has its own legend, which becomes very vivid with some strange scenery. However, this kind of seaside scenery is not as practical as the vastness and generosity of the sea for children. Small crabs can be found on the beach, but the environment and sanitation are not very good.
zds9941The beach not far from Shenyang is only suitable for viewing from a distance. After getting into the water in person, the white clothes will turn yellow and will never be washed again. The beach is okay, but garbage is everywhere and there is no management. You can catch the sea after low tide.
铁西妹Based on Trip.com user data, Recommended sightseeing time: 1–3 day(s), allowing you to cover the main attractions while enjoying shopping, dining, and other experiences.
