As an airport hotel, most guests are just passing through for a night. It's really inconvenient that breakfast only starts at 7 AM. I had to wolf down my meal in 15 minutes. They should really start breakfast by 6 or at least 6:30 AM. And for those with breakfast included, you even need to pre-order a sandwich if you can't make it to the main breakfast. Other than that, everything else is fine for an airport hotel; the shuttle to Tung Chung and the airport is quite convenient.

It is one of the best hotels in Hong Kong I have visited. The staffs are super friendly and helpful. Everything is down to the details. The room is big with a huge bathtub. We ordered room service for breakfast and the food was great. Highly recommended.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff was extremely friendly, professional, and always willing to help with anything I needed. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with everything organized perfectly. The location was also very convenient, close to restaurants, shops, and local attractions.
The breakfast was delicious and offered a good variety of options every morning. I especially appreciated the peaceful atmosphere and the excellent customer service throughout my stay. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience, and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort and quality service.

Even though it wasn't a weekend or a holiday, the hotel upgraded me to a sea-view suite for free. The view was absolutely stunning, and the room was incredibly spacious. The only downside was that the room was really damp, which couldn't be helped. On a side note, the toothpaste quality was excellent, unlike the powdery taste you often get in mainland hotels. The lobby staff were very attentive, and the employee who handled my luggage storage was very dedicated.
Arrived late at night and was pleasantly surprised to wake up to a sea view after opening the curtains. The room was quite spacious and well-equipped, even with a power adapter for charging. There were plenty of mirrors, and the bathroom even had a vanity table. The windows were sealed, so you couldn't open them for a breeze, and the exhaust fan had to be on constantly.
The major issue was the strong musty smell coming from the drawer in the entryway. I just casually opened it to put some things away and was hit with a very noticeable moldy odor. I'd seen reviews mentioning a musty smell, but I didn't notice it upon check-in. Then, the next night, I opened the drawer again and was overwhelmed by the smell. Is this a common problem with wooden cabinets? I really hope the hotel addresses this odor issue, especially since so many people have reported it. Overall, my stay was quite good, right up until I opened that drawer.

Hotels in Hong Kong are generally quite small, often only a little over ten square meters. This hotel is actually comparable to a Home Inn in mainland China, and the price is similar to a Home Inn or Hanting in downtown Shanghai. Given that hotels in Hong Kong are quite expensive, this one offers relatively good value for money in Central. So, if I were to rate it by that standard, I'd give it around 4 to 4.5 stars. My main reason for choosing this hotel was its excellent location. Bus 15 to Victoria Peak is just a short walk away. You can also take the A11 bus directly from the airport. Getting to Causeway Bay is just a few stops on the tram. For Stanley, both bus 260 and 6 go directly there. Mong Kok is also directly accessible by MTR. And for Central Pier, the Observation Wheel, and the Star Ferry, there are direct bus routes. The location is just fantastic, so convenient! The hotel provides disposable slippers, disposable toothbrushes, and even a universal adapter, which was a thoughtful touch (though I had brought my own). There were no disposable combs, however.

Great location! Just make sure to take the closest subway exit, as the path can be a bit rough with luggage. The staff were fantastic and helped me upgrade to a river view room. The room was newly renovated with a stunning river view. It had all the basic amenities like slippers, tea bags, and shower gel, but surprisingly no disposable items like toothbrushes or toothpaste, and no complimentary bottled water, which was a bit inconvenient. The pillows were also quite soft and thin. Plenty of shopping and dining options nearby.

Coming to Hong Kong this time, I searched for many hotels on Trip.com, but most rooms were tiny and the facilities were outdated. I finally decided to stay at the Best Western Plus Hotel Hong Kong, and as soon as I entered, I was blown away by the sea-view room on the first floor with a large balcony! Stepping out, you're greeted by an endless expanse of clear blue sea – the view is absolutely stunning! 🌊
At night, I enjoyed the sea breeze on the balcony, watching the starry sky, eating fruit, and having drinks. It was so relaxing I didn't want to leave. Getting around from the hotel is super convenient; there's a free shuttle bus directly to the MTR station, making it easy to go shopping, explore, and try out all the amazing local food.
The buffet breakfast was a bit simple, so don't have high expectations. Once you're near the MTR station, there are so many Hong Kong delicacies that you'll wish you had more stomachs to try them all.
The hotel offers a peaceful retreat amidst the hustle and bustle, with a healing sea view and excellent value for money. The experience was fantastic, and it's definitely on my must-stay list for my next visit to Hong Kong. I'll definitely be back!

Two years later, I'm back in Tung Chung! Last time, Four Points left a great impression, so this time, my whole family unanimously agreed to stay here again.
It's normal for hotel prices to go up during holidays. Four Points' price increase was reasonable, not much more expensive than during the summer.
This trip was all about taking it easy. Lantau Island really feels like escaping the city's hustle and bustle.
Considering the price point, the hotel is relatively new, and the rooms are much larger than those on Hong Kong Island. Excellent value!
If you're not in a hurry, you can enjoy a leisurely breakfast. Given the cost of living in Hong Kong, the price for the buffet breakfast is definitely worth it. The variety is good, and the quality is also decent.
Getting around is also convenient. There are shuttle buses to and from the airport and the MTR station.
(It was a bit difficult to find the hotel shuttle bus after landing at the airport – maybe a sign could be put up?)

I had a very enjoyable stay and wanted to recognise the excellent staff who made it so welcoming.
Anson was outstanding — very professional, friendly, and spoke excellent English. He went above and beyond, including kindly paying for a drink for me when needed and trusting me to reimburse him later, which I greatly appreciated.
Ivy was also very helpful and pleasant. While her English was more limited, she communicated well enough to assist me and was always friendly and welcoming.
The male trainee staff member was likewise friendly, professional, and spoke good English.
All three were consistently warm, welcoming, and a real credit to the hotel. From the moment I arrived, they made me feel genuinely welcome, offered helpful suggestions, explained everything clearly, gave me a choice of beds, and even upgraded me to a harbour view room, which was a lovely touch.
The room itself was excellent — comfortable, with a great bed, and one of the best hotel showers I’ve had, with strong water pressure and very hot water.
The hotel is also very well located, within easy walking distance of the MTR, buses, and plenty of food options, which made getting around very convenient.
Their warmth, professionalism, and willingness to help made my stay much more enjoyable. I would happily stay here again.
Thank you for such excellent hospitality 😀

Bbb1979_2006I booked two adjoining double rooms. Though small, they had everything needed, and the hotel felt quite new and comfortable inside. It's located next to a highway, so there was some noise (rooms facing the small road on the opposite side would probably be quieter). I'd say the air conditioning unit was even louder. For breakfast, they offered one pastry and unlimited coffee refills. There was no bottled water in the room, and toiletries and slippers were not provided. It's about a 10-minute walk to Prince Edward MTR station. The value for money is much better than some of the older hotels.

GGuest UserThis hotel definitely exceeded my expectations! For a price over HKD 1,000, I was expecting a tiny room in Hong Kong, but to my surprise, it was a suite. It had a living room with a sofa, coffee table, and dining table, and the bedroom had a super large bed. Plus, all the details in the bathroom were very clean.
The hotel staff were very nice, and their Mandarin was good. Breakfast was semi-buffet style, where you could order one set meal, and all four I tried were delicious. You could even see parrots flying outside the window while having breakfast.
The biggest advantage of this hotel is its convenient location. It's about two bus stops from Admiralty Station (or walkable, really), a 200-meter walk from the Peak Tram Macdonnell Road Station, and within walking distance of Hong Kong Park and Hong Kong Zoological and Botanical Gardens. Highly recommend!
MMIKOjinliyouRoom Environment: My 'premium room' with frosted, non-opening windows turned out to be a 'cemetery view room' or 'mountain view room,' right next to the Hong Kong Cemetery. It was surprisingly quiet though. I imagine a city view room might be a bit noisy since it's by an elevated highway.
Cleanliness: Not great. I felt like the countertops weren't wiped down, there were water stains everywhere, and I even found a long hair from a previous guest on the wall.
Facilities: Besides the disposable toiletries, they provide basic amenities like a fridge, hairdryer, makeup mirror, kettle, and even hand soap and body lotion. However, everything is quite old; even the plastic cups had scratches on the inside. On the bright side, there's a free pinball machine downstairs which was pretty fun.
Service: The front desk staff were okay, and they spoke Mandarin which was helpful. You have to buy toiletries yourself from a vending machine downstairs, and there's no water dispenser in the room; you have to get water from one in the hallway. If your room is near the dispenser, you'll definitely hear people filling their bottles.
Value for Money: If it were around 500 RMB, a cemetery view room would be great value. But I booked three weeks in advance for over 700 RMB, and it was non-refundable, non-exchangeable, and I couldn't even change the guest name. Then, closer to the May Day holiday, the price was practically cut in half! So, keep an eye on the pricing when you book.
XXiangshoulvtudexiaohaiFacilities: For a family-friendly hotel, the pool is perfect for toddlers and young children! There's also a small play area that costs HKD 110.
Cleanliness: Very clean, tidy, and well-maintained.
Environment: Built by the sea and next to Ocean Park, the scenery is beautiful, and the sea view is top-notch.
Service: We drove there, and overnight parking cost HKD 500, which is quite expensive. Aside from the front desk staff, who weren't great, the rest of the service was good.

GGuest UserThe hotel is good. At great location, with spacious rooms and helpfull personnel. We enjoyed our stay and they accommodate most of the request.
In all the negative reviews, the complaint is cleaningness and too worn out facilities. It is true. There are small things that the hotel could do, like renewing the sealant silicone in the bathrooms and clean better around the windows and the air ducts. Simple stuff. Don't expect it though and it shouldn't affect your decision to stay. The place is good.
There were two things which were annoying to me, to affect the stay. First it was the non-option to stop the bathroom ventilation fan which was noisy and normally stops when you turn off the bathroom lights. Eitherway you have the A/C to ventilate the room. Second was that the bed frame was slightly smaller than the matress which made the mattress bend at the sides. It was like fitting a queen size mattress to a double bed size frame.
I am adding picture of the items that caught my eye and are the main reasons for complaints but not to discourage people to book this hotel. The photos are mostly for the hotel to see and make small improvements which can improve the reviews. The photo of the messy bed is only for room reference and not a comment :)
Thank you for the stay.
GGuest UserAbsolutely loved our stay! The 45th-floor family level is such a unique feature, and we could even check in directly there. They gave the kids so many little gifts, and the view from our room was absolutely incredible, with a breathtaking panoramic of Victoria Harbour. Plus, the 'grab and go' healthy snacks were a fantastic touch, and the quality of all the food was really impressive. Highly recommend!
HHushenyuCleanliness: Decent, quite clean.
Environment: Conveniently located at the Wan Chai Lee Tung Avenue exit. However, getting in and out of the hotel requires a bit of a walk as it's embedded within a shopping mall. The food street downstairs wasn't very lively.
Service: The service was pretty good, though the pool closes at 6 PM, which is a bit early. I didn't get to experience it.
Facilities: Honestly, it was ridiculous. There's a tiny sauna room, and five guys were squeezed into the dry sauna. The atmosphere was incredibly awkward, just unbelievable.
Night view: Mostly obstructed, just barely acceptable.
Breakfast: The vegetarian salad had too many vegetables and very little meat or cheese. No salmon was available, and they didn't provide disposable cups for coffee. That's a negative point.
Overall, it doesn't quite live up to 5-star standards.
DDietmar KOur stay at W Hong Kong was nothing short of outstanding – and that's not only because of the breathtaking Victoria Harbour views, the stylish design, or the convenient location above the Elements shopping mall. The real difference was the exceptional service, especially from Alex, the Welcome Manager.
From the moment we checked in, we felt truly welcome. Despite a fully booked hotel, Alex took plenty of time to explain everything, gave us excellent local recommendations, and made our request for a high-floor harbour-view room happen effortlessly. His warm, professional, yet relaxed attitude perfectly captures the modern luxury that the W brand promises.
The room was immaculate, the famous W Bed was incredibly comfortable, the rooftop pool area was stunning, and the service at the bar was fantastic throughout our stay.
Final verdict: Whether traveling for business or leisure, W Hong Kong comes highly recommended. And if you want something special – we hope Alex will be there to welcome you. Thank you to the entire team, and especially to Alex, for an unforgettable experience.
We will definitely be back.
