Everything above was perfect, until I looked under the bed, I found several papers, leftover packaging (my ring had fallen under the bed and that's when I saw the surprise đ ), I had unfortunately seen it on the last day, I was only going to the hotel to sleep, but above everything was impeccable, clean bath towels, clean bed and sheets... in addition to the beautiful view of the castle đ

The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond by recommending great restaurants nearby. What was truly thoughtful was that they even called ahead to confirm the restaurants' opening hours before suggesting them to me â a very considerate gesture. Breakfast was also superb, and the staff even thoughtfully packed some food for me to take away. The room itself was large and very comfortable! All in all, it was a stay that far exceeded my expectations!
It was comfortable, checking in was simple and I was able to check-in late as my plane arrived late. The room is nice and clean. Their taxi service is really good but a bit expensive. The only thing is that inside the kettle is burned or something weird happened there. Otherwise it was a good experience

Conveniently located very close to the metro station. A taxi ride to the airport costs only 6 euros, and the old town is easily accessible via the metro. Both the room and bathroom are very spacious. The breakfast spread is excellent and varied daily, offering different options. I highly recommend staying at this hotel. It's a much better option than staying in the old town, where hauling luggage up and down narrow, cobbled streets can be exhausting. Furthermore, the old town's narrow roads often lead to traffic congestion, especially when traveling to and from the airport.

Very small toilet and noisy front door!
The guest rooms in the hotel is newly renovated. Maybe due to some designing issues, the toilet is very small. The toilet bowl is narrowly surrounded by the sink and wall. Iâm not a big size person, but I cannot fully sit on the toilet bowl because the space between the sink and the wall is small.
The front door of the room produces a big bang when closing. The hotel does suggest guests to tap the door card to retract the lock tongue before closing the door. But nobody does so and you keep hearing bangs from neighbours.
My room has the smell of cigarette smoke from 9 p.m. every night. I couldnât figure out where it comes from.

This hotel has a rather Western style. It's newly decorated and very clean. Breakfast was quite good, but its location is a bit far from both the city center and the uptown area, which makes getting around somewhat inconvenient.
I was greeted by Ms. Lorena at the reception. She is very friendly and helpful, with a beautiful smile. She provided me with some good information on where to go and what to do. She is a great receptionist.
Highly recommended, stay here with confidence. Although the room description lacks information on the size, it's actually quite spacious. It has air conditioning, and the bathroom is clean and tidy.
It's close to both Entre Campos metro and train stations, and there's also a bus to the airport.
The hotel's breakfast has a good selection, including scrambled eggs, stir-fried mixed vegetables, fresh fruit, and even a small portion of salmon. It's very tasty.
There's no shortage of restaurants nearby, and since it's not a touristy area, most of them are run by locals, offering good food and affordable options.

We stayed here for 3 nights for vacation, below are our experience and reviews.
Cons:
1. Complimentary Water (only 2 during entire stay):
⢠Complimentary water is only provided on the first day, but this was not communicated at check-in.
⢠The vending machine water is overpriced (4.5x supermarket price).
⢠Clear instructions at check-in would allow guests to plan ahead and buy water elsewhere.
2. Reception Service:
⢠No guidance on how to call the front desk from the room, resulted in us going down to reception for assistance.
⢠Unprofessional receptionist behavior:
⢠A receptionist prioritized personal conversations with other guests over assisting me, even after noticing I needed help.
⢠My query took less than a minute but was delayed unnecessarily, leaving me frustrated and disappointed.
3. Housekeeping Issue:
⢠Despite placing a âDo Not Disturbâ sign on the door, housekeeping knocked repeatedly and did not respond when asked who was there.
⢠The door lacked a peephole, which raised safety concerns as we couldnât verify who was outside.
4. Taxi Drop-off:
⢠The hotelâs entrance is on a ramp near a traffic light, making it difficult for taxi to stop directly in front of the door.
⢠Guests with heavy luggage may find it inconvenient as taxis often park farther away.
Some Pros:
⢠Excellent location near a park with a charming Christmas market.
⢠Safe area with plenty of nearby restaurants and supermarkets, making it very convenient.
⢠Decent-sized rooms with ample space and a large desk for working.
⢠Good breakfast options.

Very Good
MMarinaHotel a little dated but in an excellent position room assigned absolutely to be used as a single and not as a double had a column near the bed very dangerous at night if one gets up without turning on the light .... Equipped with everything with dated but clean uncomfortable furniture for two people. Maybe it was assigned to us because it was taken with an offer? Work in progress in the building opposite but did not disturb too much. Breakfast in the norm with good products, the only flaw is the American-only coffee ... Staff courteous even if detached.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel is not located in the city, but there is a subway station that takes ten minutes' walk to the old city. It is also very convenient because there is no taxi in the city to go to the airport. The breakfast in the hotel is very good, the variety is rich and the quality is good, and the service is particularly good. SANA is a local hotel chain in Portugal, and its quality and service are quite guaranteed. The hotel is located on the flight network where planes land and take off, but the soundproofing in the room is good, which is perfect if you want to watch and take pictures of planes.
SSantosThe room was super clean, the location is near a public transportation which I'd good ans bad at the same time due to noise, the stuffs are friendly and helpful.
Therr only negatives are:
There is a TV and AC, but in order to use it you must demand the remotes.
As well as the fact that we either give them a credit card or 50 euros as a warranty instead of a ID, which we found it not so common and were doubting it, ans of course we gave cash.
SSusanI booked this hotel cause it a close location to many things around in Lisbon. While it is not a fancy hotel, it serves well for solo travellers and families. The room was very spacious and the AC worked well. The cleaning service came every day and left the room clean and fresh. Breakfast was included with our stay, and it was a usual hotel breakfast. You could pick from hot items such as scrambled eggs and meat products like beans and sausage or bacon. On one day they also had mushrooms. Then of course the bread variety and some pastry items such as croissant and muffins. Cheeses, yoghurt and fruits as well cereals were available. Eating breakfast at 10 AM usually filled us up for the day and we hardly ate lunch outside. The staff was friendly and when we requested an iron they provided that with no problem. The room had a small safe for valuables when we left for the day and plenty of storage space for the clothes and suit cases. The bathroom was very nice as well, lots of counter space and even a clothing line across the tub to hang some items to dry if you had to was a shirt or socks. The hotel is located across small soccer practice field so from our balcony we could watch people play some soccer games. Be advised the hotel is very close to the airport (about 10 min) so there was noise from planes but hardly noticeable. During our stay, 2 of the main elevators broke and were not usable but luckily we were on the second floor so taking the stairs was easy but they do have other elevators available. And for anyone not looking to leave the hotel for lunch or dinner, they provide plenty of dishes in their restaurant and bar area. But just a few steps around that area, you will find great places to eat such a Turkish restaurant with a 10 page menu I highly recommend to try.
SSefy LevyThis hostel is located about 3km walk from the center city, but does have some close by attractions (such as the Jeronimo's Monetary)
The room is extremely small, if you seat on the edge of the bed and try to stretch your legs, you'll most likely hit the wall.
We had our room replaced, as the first room had zero privacy for the toilet and the second room gave the illusion of privacy (as you can see in photos)
We've not seen any of the management, as everything is done thru WhatsApp to contact them and they will respond.
Breakfast was OK, it had a bit of choices but there was more cakes and cookies then actual food.
GGuest UserI spent a 5 nights at My Story Rossio and here are some of my thoughts:
PROS:
- Excellent location. Hard to beat this prime location. It's at the heart of the city with lots of things to do in proximity. There's also a Metro station across from it so you can take the subway directly from the airport.
- Nice decors and overall pretty clean.
CONS:
- The biggest issue I had during my stay was the poor structure of the building leading to disturbing loud noises. During housekeeping hours, the door to the cleaning supplies kept being slammed. Every time it was slammed, my whole room shook and I jumped up. I called the front desk asking if they could be more gentle with the doors. I was told that that was the way housekeeping was and to call back only if it still happened after 5pm (after housekeeping hours). It was impossible to get any rest during the day. I understand that housekeepers need to do their job but I wonder if this issue could be fixed simply by changing the door hinge to a slow close hinge. Also, in the middle of the night, I would wake up by the creaking noises of people above me when they walked across the room.
- Second issue was the thermostat. It was not adjustable and could only be controlled by the front desk. For some reason, the hotel decided that all the rooms needed to be in heating mode during the night. It was so hot and stuffy that I was not able to sleep for many nights. I had to call the front desk in the middle of the night to turn it off but sometimes it would automatically switch back on. Then I requested to have the cooling instead of heating on but it would be too cold at night and there was no way to dial it myself. So throughout my stay, it would feel like being inside either a sauna or a freezer.

KkthĂŠrèseThe river view room and toilet were small for one person so Iâd image a couple would be uncomfortable here. The location is right in the heart of Alfama and a 10-15 minute walk to Chiado/Barrio Alto. I was excited to come and stay at this hotel after reading the reviews about how friendly the staff are, but I did not receive any welcoming or friendly service from any of the staff here. In fact, I felt unwelcome and almost as if I was bothering them when I spoke to them at the reception or asked first a simple request like water for my room. I previously stayed at Montebelo Vista Allegre hotel in Chiado and I would recommend this hotel instead. I wish I stayed there for the entirety of my trip.
GGuest UserThis is a very cost-effective hotel in Lisbon. It is the best and most convenient choice for family travel. It has a refrigerator, an induction cooker, pots and pans, and even red wine glasses. This is really surprising. The decoration of the hotel is very high-quality, and every waiter is enthusiastic. A handsome guy at the front desk even shared the snacks he bought with us, which was really heartwarming! I stay here with my family every year.
