When I first checked it, I wasn't really amazed by this hotel, but when we were welcomed by Carlos I just felt that warm welcome that I was looking for. Carlos made sure that we were okay all the time. The hotel has a great location, right next to the hotel, 1 minute walk from our hotel room. The hotel room is big and spacious, it has a little kitchen and even a washing machine they also provide Laundry detergent everyday. The breakfast is mostly Chinese, western breakfast is non existent at this hotel and that's one thing I feel they should improve on, but Carlos and his team really made us forget about the little troubles we experienced. If you can't speak Chinese, I'd suggest finding Carlos on your check in. Thank you for an unforgettable stay, we will definitely come again.

The hotel is in a very nice location as you have the beach, pier with lighthouse and boat harbour right on your door step. The room was clean and modern with good aircon. Good selection for breakfast items. Three swimming pools to choose from with loungers . The hotel could do with focusing on attention to detail and customer service to reach their stated 5 star rating. However the Overall the experience was good.

This island is always worth the trip and the cost. Amazing location and the natural beauty of island life is something everyone should experience. The staff is very helpful and there is a man that speak English that helps you sign up for different activities. The only thing that could be improved is the breakfast. The watered down juices and lemonade were terrible and there isn’t a wide selection. Overall I will be visiting again.

We stayed there second time and it’s a wonderful peaceful place, not crowded, the perfect place to calm down from the busy Shanghai. We stayed in a Pool Villa what is really wonderful. All the staff is so nice and helpful, we needed the Covid Test at day 3 in Hainan and the hotel driver brought us to the local hospital to do it, very convenient, total time 20 minutes. The only weak point is the restaurant, very slow service, one hour to get drinks, maybe a communication problem. And restaurant is very loud. The other days we chose the bar for dinner, quiet, outside seating and drinks and food much quicker. When we need a quiet place we will always come back!

I only stayed here for one night, but it was amazing. The staff was super helpful. I can’t speak Chinese and they were very patient with me. The room was super clean and the beach is just 50m from the hotel. Nice and secluded, not busy at all and the most beautiful views.

We spent 4 nights at Raffles Hainan during Christmas holidays with my family and definitely it's the best experience we had in Hainan. We have tried several hotels in Sanya but none of them can be compared to Raffles. The resort is located in a privileged place, probably one of the few paradise left in entire Hainan. White and sandy beach, plus extremely clean. Before my arrival, I got in touch with the Spanish speaking manager, Joe Torres who made sure and went above and beyond to make sure my arrival was smooth and without any complications (Due Covid situation). Upon my arrival we were greeted by Joe Torres who arranged everything and promptly introduced our personal Butler, also named Joe. We had a fantastic room with phenomeal view to the sea, extremely clean, welcome decorations on our bed in Spanish (Nice and unique touch) and cute Christmas welcome amenities. The hotel looks in good shape even if it's already 8 years old. Breakfast was fantastic, probably the best I'ever had in Sanya with a wide selection of chinese and western options. My egg benedict was cooked on point and my daugther was delighted by the extensive pastry option. Also, big thank you to Jane & Eric, managers at the restaurant who took care of my dining during my stay. The lounge bar at the pool was my way to go when to have some food, for it's unique vibe and accessibility to the pool. I totally recommend their fried noodles and club sandwich. Quesadillas and tuna sandwich were not to my taste. Overall we had a fantastic christmas vacation with my entire family and thank the entire team at Raffles Hainan for make sure me and family had a smooth holidays. We will definitely come back and I totally recommend this place to those who look for privacy, quiteness and unique high end service.

The room was clean, good view. Unfortunately, the beach has signs of no swimming allowed...so I wasn't impressed by that. The location is absolutely not very convenient to do anything else besides being in the hotel. The choice of food was very limited especially Western food. Also, no halal food or coucher food for other people that can't eat pork...no signs for Halal food. This is the Westin hotel, the waiters have no idea and couldn't help. The only time someone spoke English to me was during the buffet dinner. I came down to have dinner the second night and ask for some English speaking person to help me ordering halal food...the waiter said the manager wasn't there or the chef. I was very hungry and had no choice but to order anything so I can eat...I was really disappointed. Honestly for the price of this hotel I can get a much better service in Yalong Bay or Sanya. I hope the management can try to improve their service and provide a variety of western food and especially Halal and coucher food. You can expect people to pay that much for this Westin hotel and not eat what they need. So disappointed

We booked a Yilin twin room, and when we checked in at the front desk, the front desk guy Zeng Dehua upgraded us to a deluxe family room, which faced the water park and swimming pool, with a great view. Maybe we were tired, so we slept well at night, and woke up the next morning. But the hotel is a distance from the beach, so it would be more convenient to drive by yourself.

The hotel lobby looks very grand and magnificent just as it is seen on the Internet. The hotel has its own coastline, and the sand is very fine and comfortable to step on. If there are no mosquitoes to disturb me, I feel that I can stay here until midnight. Sitting on the beach and drinking at night is also a kind of enjoyment. It's a pity that I don't have a drinking companion, which is a bit regrettable. The room is cleaned very cleanly, and the bathtub is very comfortable to take a bath and relieve stress, relieving fatigue from running on the road. There are many kinds of delicious breakfast, which makes me, a person with difficulty in making choices, a little confused. The hotel staff are very enthusiastic and greet them when they see them. The various signboards are also very detailed so that I, a road *****, will not be confused. I will come here to relax next time. Compared with Sanya, this place is really good. I like the hotel ❤️

Very satisfied with the hotel, the service is also very good, the hotel has a swimming pool, but it is only open in the afternoon. It is free to swim if you stay there. Unfortunately, I didn't bring a swimsuit. I went to the door to take a look. There were too many people and I couldn't take pictures of the big swimming pool. Overall, it is worth recommending
