The hotel itself was okay, as you’d expect from a 3 star hotel but not as good looking as the photos. The staff were nice and friendly, and very helpful anytime I asked them questions or needed advice.
The biggest downside to this hotel is the location. Whilst it is close to the metro and not too far from the main attractions, it is in a very run down part of town which is very clear from the state of the buildings and some of its inhabitants.
The room is fair clean but very noise if you live close to the lift. And also I can hear the children screaming at night (video). Meanwhile, the basic infrastructure is quite old and the balcony is blocked for safety reason as the staff told.
Surprisingly, the rooftop has a swimming pool. It seems very clean. And the restaurant is good but expensive. The breakfast is very simple but enough for me.
We had a really great stay! The hotel was perfectly very clean, comfortable rooms and a super friendly and helpful team. The location was ideal and everything was well organized. Absolutely recommendable, we would come back at any time.

The room is quite small for 3 adults but the amenities are complete. Our room has a balcony, a mini fridge, air conditioner, towels & mini shower gels. It is okay for staying a night, however the area is not very safe for female solo travellers. It’s fine for me because I am traveling with friends. It’s near to the bus stop, metro station, market & restaurants.

My adult daughter and I stayed here for 5 nights as a girls escape. The room was okay. The bathroom was really small and there’s no counter space in it. The kitchenette was perfect. The location was close to the Metro and famous attractions. Be careful about coming back to late in the evening. The sidewalk/roads get pretty dark. If we stayed again, we hope we’d get a larger room.
very good. The staff brought me breakfast the next day. I was really surprised. After the checkout, the lady at the front desk was very patient and willing to tell me how to get to the airport. It really felt very warm. Because I only stayed for one night, other aspects are not very good, but I think the Athenians are really warm and warm
Positive:
- Very clean with a/c and nice aroma around the hotel.
- Breakfast was good which is on the rooftop with lovely views of the acropolis.
- Staff were friendly.
- Location is good which includes a metro station nearby.
- The rooms and bathrooms were clean and spacious.
- Good value for money
Negatives:
- Pool on rooftop is nice but can get busy/crowded.
- They provide early breakfast between 2am - 7am for those with early starts but the options are terrible.
Accommodation was exactly as described. Clean and tidy with lots of space. The location was great with only short walks to more popular locations and sites. There's plenty of local restaurants and cafes which was ideal for 10 days. We saw warnings about avoiding back streets but actually found a really nice fish restaurant, nice church with kids playing in the streets. There were also 2 reasonable supermarkets in the vicinity, better value than the multiple minimarts in the area. You are right next to the metro if you don't want to walk. You can easily get to and from the airport for 9 euros with only one change. We did the bus tour which operate from across the road. There was a lot of homeless but that was more between the apartment and Omonia. You see them but they're not aggressive or demanding. I've saw a lot worse elsewhere especially in the UK. Couldn't recommend enough, especially for the price. The staff were very friendly, we didn't need to contact them for anything and they only contacted for cleaning and check in and out. The Christmas village was actually the highlight although seeing a tortoise near the Parthenon was a close second.
The hotel is small, the room is not big, we booked 11 flat beds. It is recommended to go to Athens or book early, it is more convenient to visit in the Constitution Square. The hotel does not have a parking lot and it is recommended that you do not drive. The hotel is 1.5 km from the main attraction and 30 minutes walk.

Amazing
GGuest UserIt is a completely renovated hotel in the ancient building. The space is very high and very clean. The ceiling retains the original mural. It is very beautiful. The customer service Effie is very kind, but when you go to Greece, please be sure to open a local phone. Most hotel customer service will need to contact you by phone or SMS.
The location is also convenient, the only problem is that the sound of the car at night will be more obvious.
GGuest UserGreat hotel close to restaurants. Rooms were clean and very aesthetically pleasing.
Transport is very accessible and it’s easy to get everywhere.
Office staff were helpful and knowledgeable.
No restaurant or drinks on site but there is a street vendor just outside selling drinks and snacks.
Rooms were serviced daily with fresh towels and coffee.
AAngelaIt depends on the price/performance ratio. You can walk to all the important attractions but it takes about half an hour. It is very convenient to take the subway and walk for three minutes. There is a Vietnamese restaurant near the hotel, which is very delicious. There is a street behind the hotel that looks a bit scary. There are many poor people begging for food, so just don't go there. The breakfast included is quite good, and there is also local Greek coffee to taste.
GGuest UserThe location of the hotel is right next to a huge homeless population. However, it is a 15 minute walking distance from popular restaurants and squares. As for the room, it’s not the nicest room, so it fits the price of what you pay for. The sink and shower didn’t drain. But the bed was pretty comfy and had AC which was a huge advantage. The staff is amazing and super nice.

The hotel is conveniently located close to the
Metaxourgeio metro station. The rooms are comfortable and well maintained. Cable channels include the BBC and the tea kettle is a welcome amenity. The breakfast hour is an enjoyable experience. Management is friendly and attentive. I am happy to recommend this hotel.
MMazen KhamisThe staff in the hotel are extremely lovely and they try their best to make the trip as enjoyable as possible. Matina is wonderful and just brings a smile to my face everytime I enter and exit the hotel. Elina was so kind to extend my checkout time despite the hotel being fully booked. Last but not least, the breakfast staff were so patient and always polite and lovely.
Otherwise of course the hotel requires maintenance and the area is too crowded as any populated city, so if you go with the right expectations you will enjoy your trip, otherwise if you have high expectations I recommend booking somewhere else.
__Coin888The city of Athens feels more broken overall, so the hotel has no sense of contradiction with the city. Older. Air conditioning is not very powerful when it is too hot. It may be similar to other hotels in Athens. The room is not very large. The location is ok, not far from the subway station.
PPuay Teck OngThe exterior of the hotel look inviting; however when we walked through the front door you can feel the heavy curtain around the lobby have not been clean for long time. All the sofa in the lobby are covered with some sort of clothes I guess it is to cover the old and uninviting sight. The check in process was straight forward and friendly.
None of the light on the stairs are working and I had to use the flash light on my phone to light a path up and down the stairs, could be dangerous if you need to evacuate the hotel quickly.
The room door has key card slot but I guess it is broken as I needed a physical key to unlock the room door and a keycard to turn on the electricity, the room size is good and high ceiling. The bathroom has no hook for the handheld shower head so not so convenient to have a shower, the water also not always hot enough.
The air conditioner was blowing warm air even though the dial was set to cold and it made the room so more warmer and uncomfortable to sleep. The hotel reviews seem to suggest this is one of the common issue people has been complaining about for more than 10 years!!!! I ended up open all the windows to cool the room down and this invited traffic noise all night long.
The hotel has been neglected for way too many years and surprisingly still in business????
