We got the junior suite for our family of 4. The room was quite spacious and the kids loved the jacuzzi bathtub. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Service was excellent. Location was also great with the subway just outside. The view of Athens from the rooftop was also awesome… a great way to end our stay at Athens being able to see all the places we visited. The only issue I had was with the parking. While the hotel has parking, lots are limited and was full when we arrived. I had to find street parking. The first night, I was lucky and found one quite quickly and only about 6mins walk from the hotel. The second night, I took close to an hour to find parking. There was paid 24hr parking across the street but they couldn’t accommodate our larger car. The only other slight problem with our room was that the wind would hit against the door early in the morning when other people where checking out… as ours was a corner unit. It sounded like someone was slamming on our door and it woke me up. Took me awhile to figure out the rapping on the door was caused by the wind and not some prankster.
Hotel itself is decent, i expected a bit more for the price. It is fairly clean and cozy, but very basic. Shower has no sliding door or curtain, so the floor is covered in water after every shower. One morning there was no hot water. Also, there noise coming from the pipes is extremely loud. Everytime the upstairs floors flushed the toilet, it sounded like a bunch of rocks being dropped down the pipes, and it woke me up in the mornings.
Service was okay, friendly and extremely fast check-in/out.
The main issue is the location. Although it is near a central spot, and good walking distance from many attractions, but the street itself is a disaster. There are homeless ************ outside directly in front of the hotel, ***** ***** all night. It is definitely not safe to walk alone at night. If safety is a concern, i cannot recommend staying at this hotel.
Besides that, the stay itself is fairly comfortable.
Hotel something old, but clean and well maintained. Rooms are a little fair, but not a problem. Good breakfast, with very wide time. There is very friendly staff. The hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable. The hotel has a 24-hour open cake/pandedry, which is very practical.

Hotel is good. Area is not the best but right next to metro so easy to get around. Good value for money but don’t expect 5 star hotel. Staff are very friendly and helpful.
Accommodation was exactly as described. Clean and tidy with lots of space. The location was great with only short walks to more popular locations and sites. There's plenty of local restaurants and cafes which was ideal for 10 days. We saw warnings about avoiding back streets but actually found a really nice fish restaurant, nice church with kids playing in the streets. There were also 2 reasonable supermarkets in the vicinity, better value than the multiple minimarts in the area. You are right next to the metro if you don't want to walk. You can easily get to and from the airport for 9 euros with only one change. We did the bus tour which operate from across the road. There was a lot of homeless but that was more between the apartment and Omonia. You see them but they're not aggressive or demanding. I've saw a lot worse elsewhere especially in the UK. Couldn't recommend enough, especially for the price. The staff were very friendly, we didn't need to contact them for anything and they only contacted for cleaning and check in and out. The Christmas village was actually the highlight although seeing a tortoise near the Parthenon was a close second.
My adult daughter and I stayed here for 5 nights as a girls escape. The room was okay. The bathroom was really small and there’s no counter space in it. The kitchenette was perfect. The location was close to the Metro and famous attractions. Be careful about coming back to late in the evening. The sidewalk/roads get pretty dark. If we stayed again, we hope we’d get a larger room.
It depends on the price/performance ratio. You can walk to all the important attractions but it takes about half an hour. It is very convenient to take the subway and walk for three minutes. There is a Vietnamese restaurant near the hotel, which is very delicious. There is a street behind the hotel that looks a bit scary. There are many poor people begging for food, so just don't go there. The breakfast included is quite good, and there is also local Greek coffee to taste.
very good. The staff brought me breakfast the next day. I was really surprised. After the checkout, the lady at the front desk was very patient and willing to tell me how to get to the airport. It really felt very warm. Because I only stayed for one night, other aspects are not very good, but I think the Athenians are really warm and warm
The hotel service is excellent, the staff are very nice and respectful, and the cleanliness is excellent, but the room is small and the facilities are old. The hotel’s location is close to everything.
When we entered the apartment, we smelled a very strong chlorine odor, so we immediately opened the windows. However, this made the room extremely noisy, as the windows overlook a busy road. Luckily, the smell was dissipated.
The photo advertises a double bed, but in reality, it's two single mattresses placed side by side. It's impossible to sleep on them: they're too soft, and you keep sinking into the gap between them. We ended up having to remove the mattresses completely to get any sleep.
The shower floor is extremely slippery, and there's practically no water pressure. The elevator in the building was extremely small.
So, even basic needs—rest, sleep, showering, and using the amenities—were extremely poorly met.

Amazing
GGuest UserIt is a completely renovated hotel in the ancient building. The space is very high and very clean. The ceiling retains the original mural. It is very beautiful. The customer service Effie is very kind, but when you go to Greece, please be sure to open a local phone. Most hotel customer service will need to contact you by phone or SMS.
The location is also convenient, the only problem is that the sound of the car at night will be more obvious.
GGuest UserGreat hotel close to restaurants. Rooms were clean and very aesthetically pleasing.
Transport is very accessible and it’s easy to get everywhere.
Office staff were helpful and knowledgeable.
No restaurant or drinks on site but there is a street vendor just outside selling drinks and snacks.
Rooms were serviced daily with fresh towels and coffee.
JJINLINGThe hotel is small, the room is not big, we booked 11 flat beds. It is recommended to go to Athens or book early, it is more convenient to visit in the Constitution Square. The hotel does not have a parking lot and it is recommended that you do not drive. The hotel is 1.5 km from the main attraction and 30 minutes walk.
GGuest UserThe location of the hotel is right next to a huge homeless population. However, it is a 15 minute walking distance from popular restaurants and squares. As for the room, it’s not the nicest room, so it fits the price of what you pay for. The sink and shower didn’t drain. But the bed was pretty comfy and had AC which was a huge advantage. The staff is amazing and super nice.

The hotel is conveniently located close to the
Metaxourgeio metro station. The rooms are comfortable and well maintained. Cable channels include the BBC and the tea kettle is a welcome amenity. The breakfast hour is an enjoyable experience. Management is friendly and attentive. I am happy to recommend this hotel.
MMazen KhamisThe staff in the hotel are extremely lovely and they try their best to make the trip as enjoyable as possible. Matina is wonderful and just brings a smile to my face everytime I enter and exit the hotel. Elina was so kind to extend my checkout time despite the hotel being fully booked. Last but not least, the breakfast staff were so patient and always polite and lovely.
Otherwise of course the hotel requires maintenance and the area is too crowded as any populated city, so if you go with the right expectations you will enjoy your trip, otherwise if you have high expectations I recommend booking somewhere else.
__Coin888The city of Athens feels more broken overall, so the hotel has no sense of contradiction with the city. Older. Air conditioning is not very powerful when it is too hot. It may be similar to other hotels in Athens. The room is not very large. The location is ok, not far from the subway station.
PPuay Teck OngThe exterior of the hotel look inviting; however when we walked through the front door you can feel the heavy curtain around the lobby have not been clean for long time. All the sofa in the lobby are covered with some sort of clothes I guess it is to cover the old and uninviting sight. The check in process was straight forward and friendly.
None of the light on the stairs are working and I had to use the flash light on my phone to light a path up and down the stairs, could be dangerous if you need to evacuate the hotel quickly.
The room door has key card slot but I guess it is broken as I needed a physical key to unlock the room door and a keycard to turn on the electricity, the room size is good and high ceiling. The bathroom has no hook for the handheld shower head so not so convenient to have a shower, the water also not always hot enough.
The air conditioner was blowing warm air even though the dial was set to cold and it made the room so more warmer and uncomfortable to sleep. The hotel reviews seem to suggest this is one of the common issue people has been complaining about for more than 10 years!!!! I ended up open all the windows to cool the room down and this invited traffic noise all night long.
The hotel has been neglected for way too many years and surprisingly still in business????
