Hotels with Bars in Austin

The line is such an incredible hotel! It is beautiful with extremely comfortable beds and rooms. It is the perfect, central location and has everything you may need for a trip to Austin, including a hotel bar, pool, taco restaurant and rooftop overlooking the city. The staff is friendly, professional and helpful. I will definitely be staying at the line again!

In the words of Bette Davis, “What a Dump.” In its favor, we had a nice view of Lady Bird Lake from our window, which was pretty to wake up to, and the water pressure in the shower was great! The bathroom seemed partially updated and was pretty decent. Free parking, too. There were a few HBO channels on tv. However, the hotel is very dated and not very clean looking. The indoor parking garage was filthy and was dimly lit. Didn’t feel very safe in there, so we parked in the outside lot whenever possible. No greeting from the night time desk clerk when we came back from dinner, as she seemed to purposely be avoiding eye contact with us (she wasn’t on the phone or busy with someone else). The elevators were very smudgy and too dark, also. The beds slumped a bit in the middle, the linens were old and tired looking, and the chair in the corner looked worse than some I’ve put by the curb. An old leak on the ceiling was poorly patched up, and there were stains on the desk chair, carpet and walls. The door to the adjoining room didn’t provide enough sound proofing, as I heard our neighbor’s phone convo loud and clear. The pool area didn’t look very inviting, as there were no umbrellas or trees to block the strong sun. We wanted to stay in downtown Austin to be within walking distance to things, so this was the least expensive option. But not much could be walked to from there, and the area it was in was a bit sketchy, so we ended up taking Ubers, anyway. We had booked our last night at a hotel in the Arboretum area, because this one went up to a ridiculously high amount for Friday night (music festival in town), and it ended up being just as convenient to take an Uber from there (15-20 mins) to downtown. Plus, the hotel was much nicer and way less expensive. Live and learn.

The scenery is very good, and the corner windows are very satisfying, especially at night when the lights outside the windows are very impressive. The room is clean and tidy, a little small, but the view is good, these are not important

All I can say is WOW! Everything was PERFECT. Here, there was little sign that the pandemic even occurred. Daily housekeeping, quality pillows and towels, open stores and restaurants…all of this made me so happy! The only thing I would have enjoyed was morning coffee room service, but I’m sure this hotel is recovering from the pandemic like everyone else. What a FANTASTIC stay. Gabriel’s restaurant was fantastic and was open until 10pm, which was wonderful since we arrived at 9pm from a long road trip. I will never stay anywhere else!!

Our stay was simple and easy for Austin, Texas just down the street from the Great State of Texas Capital building or a short walk to the river. The hotel staff will greet you and have you wisked away to your room as fast as possible. Our room #2314 was a regular king room and the large size was good to have. The windows were floor to ceiling to have great views of the city day or night. Austin is home to the Texas music scene so many stay here for the access to all that is offered. The staff made sure our stay was enjoyable and I highly recommend requesting the charcuterie board with a great bottle 🍾 as it was sent up for us from the hotel. This hotel is designed for the business traveler in mind, great meeting spot and conference hotel. Book a breakfast, lunch or dinner at the Corner for a great meal. We arrived after driving from Dallas and were checked in by Ranee. What a delight, this is how you do hospitality and welcome guests. We instantly relaxed. Great room and facilities, the lobby bar team are experienced and friendly without obviously tip shopping. We have enjoyed our first Westin and it won't be the last

Participate in the preferred hotel of the annual Southwestern South. From the second floor, you can go directly to the main venue in the south-southwest. The bar on the top floor is also very good! recommend! recommend! The only short board is so expensive, nearly $700 a night!

I stayed at the Austin Marriott Downtown for one night on a business trip. My four colleagues and I were all extremely impressed with Seraphine at the front desk. She was exceptionally helpful, remembered my name and spoke to me every time she saw me, and was attentive and helpful to every detail. The rooms and location were very good, and our stay was enjoyable, but her customer service was absolutely exceptional.

We were just visiting Austin for the weekend. We booked 2 rooms with our friends and well it was the best experience ever. The stuff is so friendly specially Sonva. She knew it was my birthday and also the birthday of my friends so she treated us VIP and offered us drinks on the house. Thank you 💜
