I thoroughly enjoyed my 5 night stay at Hotel Indigo. The reception staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was well appointed with nice furnishings and was clean. The bed was comfortable. The room had 2 large windows with a city view. Housekeeping came daily and provided excellent service. The public areas/lobby were nice and clean too. The lobby has a large area with abundant seating, a large fireplace and tv. My only suggestion would be to update the tv to a smart tv for access to Netflix and other apps.

From check in at front desk, Ashley the person who checked us in was amazing, we were greeted by her and very welcoming, she has a great personality and pleasant person to talk to and we saw her again at breakfast where she was stationed and there she continued to person she is when we checked in. Absolutely will come again and hope she is the person we see from start to finish.

Came down to inner harbor for the night with my family. We stayed at a residence inn back in October when we went to Atlanta, so we knew we wanted to stay again in residence inn. Staff was friendly. Room was clean. Valet parking was very convenient. Short 10 minute walk to the harbor. Close to many restaurants/bars.

The hotel is small, but the sanitation is very good, and the breakfast is also good. The parking lot is across the road. You can park your car at the entrance of the hotel to check in. I thought it was 5 yuan to park, but when I left, I realized that it was 5 yuan to leave at 6 am. , we left at 10 and paid $18 for parking, the room had a fridge, no microwave.

The room smelled like mold. My pillows smelled like mold. If I hadn't been treated so poorly when I (finally) complained, I would be satisfied and happy. That's not what happened though. I arrived at the Hilton Garden Inn BWI around 9:30pm, plugged in my computer, unpacked a couple of things, and went to the restaurant across the street. I couldn't find anything decent, so I came bad to the hotel, picked up a mediocre salad, and retired to my room. The room (Rm 139) smelled musty. By now it was going on 10pm, and I had to be up at 4am for a 6pm flight. Changing rooms would be a hassle, and maybe it wasn't so bad. I ate my salad and watched a little tv. It still smelled but it wasn't terrible. Eventually, I climbed into bed and layed down. The pillows smelled bad - like really mildewy. I laid in bed for 15 or 20 minutes. It was really bad. Got dressed, packed up, went to the front desk. Told the fellow at the front desk that my room smelled terrible - mildewy - and that I couldn't sleep. ”I can't move you. I don't have any rooms that aren't more expensive. If you want a different room you'll have to pay more for it” I explained that my room smelled like mildrew and that he needed to move me. ”Did you tell anyone at the desk earlier that your room smelled bad?” I was stunned. No - I hadn't; i didn't want to be a problem and moving would be a hassle, but now I couldn't stay there - it was a problem. He repeated that he couldn't move me unless I was willing to pay for a more expensive room. He must have told me I needed to pay for a more expensive room three times. Eventually I said you can't leave me in a room where I'm sleeping on mildewed pillows - that's a health hazard. ”There's no health hazard in this hotel. Why didn't you complain earlier?” Now I'm pretty angry. I say, ”Because I didn't. Are you saying I'm lying? Why on earth would I come to the lobby at 12:30 in the morning in advance of a 4am shuttle to the airport making up lies about mildew?” He tells that he doesn't know what I might do and that he can't do anything unless he can have someone come check out my room. ”When?” I ask. He can't - won't - tell me. I say, ”I can get you a pillow - you can smell the mold for yourself.” ”Fine,” he says. I leave to get a pillow, which I bring back to the desk. He sniffs it. ”Do all the pillows smell like this? Is this the only one?” I tell him that yes, all the pillows smell like that. I am relieved; a new room is in sight. Now he just stares at me, unconcerned. ”Sooooo?” I say. ”I have to get someone to check out your room.” ???????????? ”When?” He shrugged. ”Can you ballpark me? 10 minutes? 15 minutes? an hour?” He shrugged, then, ”I called him. When he gets back.” ”Is he on the property?” I ask. His response: ”I don't know”. I take a seat in the lobby. Five minutes later a different fellow comes over, and we walk to my room. I open the door and he sticks his head in. ”It's bad,” he says. ”Let's go.” Back at the front desk, the n

Stayed many hotels in marryland but this is the best soo far based on price, very close to airport like 10 mins. Rooms are very nice and clean they do have housekeeping services which is amazing as i always request HK services but never ever receive it from other hotels , Breakfast do not have too many options like 3-4 items basics but very reasonable price $10-$13 Amazing pool, decor, front desk is fast and professional. Its a big hotel located in a very peaceful area, while from your room you will see many flights taking off and landing which is amazing !!

This is the worst Hotel I have ever stayed in, period. The whole hotel smelled of skunk and marihuana. The Ice machine room smelled of urine as if it was used very often. The front desk attendants were watching television in the breakfast area instead of monitoring who was coming into the hotel. There was a man who appeared to be homeless walking through the hotel lobby, then up the elevators and back down to the lobby. He wore the same clothes on Friday night and Saturday morning. The morning attendant on 2/19 was sleeping in the office. I had to bang on the office door several times to wake him up. When I asked for more towels I was given pool towels which were small and worn out. When I asked for more pillows I was told they only had one left but the hotel wasn't sold out. There was mold on the ceiling in hallway, our room, the bathroom. The toilet kept getting stuffed up, we were afraid it would over flow every time. When I mentioned it to the front desk clerk he said OK, didn't even fain an interest in fixing the problem. I want my money refunded immediately. We felt unsafe, we were in deplorable conditions that smelled horrible. The entire hotel, I mean entire hotel needs a tear down and rebuild it is that bad. The beds were like twin beds not fit for two adults to sleep in.

GGuest UserI booked an overnight reservation for my husband's birthday celebration. The entire experience was unique and simply outstanding in every way! We were made to feel VERY SPECIAL by each and every staff member with whom we engaged. We were CONTINUALLY welcomed throughout the stay from the person who opened the car door and greeted us by name to the very knowledgeable concierges, the room service staff, the culinary staff, the bellman, the driver, Lottie Dottie and EVERYBODY! The hotel was very clean and beautifully adorned with pictures, books, furniture, plants and artifacts that told the story of the hotel. This includes the very accommodating bedroom with a comfortable canopy bed and a pristine, spacious and updated bathroom. One could ALWAYS count on soul-stirring music playing in the background of every public space. Each tune moved us to murmur the lyrics regardless of where we were and what we were doing. Ever had a snack attack? No worries! The room was well stocked with a variety of goodies and beverages to soothe those evening urges. And, finally, let me praise the food selections offered to us at teatime and breakfast. Homemade jam, almond butter, muffins, oat flapjacks, chicken sausage, eggs, and more! This was quite an awesome getaway! And, yes, we would do it all over again!

True to the reputation of the New York-based design firm, Ash, the Ulysses is nothing short of an architectural marvel.
The first thing that catches your eye? The hotel's impeccable aesthetic. It's a masterful blend of old-world charm and modern design, encapsulating the very essence of Baltimore's diverse character. While the rooms might have been a tad on the cozier side, they more than made up for it with their plush comfort and attention to detail. The Ulysses truly exemplifies the notion that beauty lies in the details, and the meticulousness with which they've curated every aspect of the guest experience speaks volumes.
The 19th-century charm of the Mount Vernon neighborhood is beautifully echoed within the Ulysses. The delicate stained-glass skylight, the ornate crown molding, and the preserved brass postal box serve as a testament to the building's rich history. But it's not all vintage here. The interiors seamlessly transition from the ornate influences of the Art Nouveau era to a more streamlined approach, evident in the hickory wood furniture adorned with Ash’s custom textiles. And oh, those hand-beaded lampshades and embroidered quilts! They added the perfect splash of color and quirk.
A special shout-out to the carved flamingos that support the bedside tables, a delightful nod to Baltimore's own John Waters and his ”Pink Flamingos.” It's this mix of opulence and eccentricity that makes the Ulysses stand out.
Booking through Trip.com was a new experience for us. A bit unconventional, sure, but it came through in the clutch. The $35 ”destination fee” threw us for a loop initially, but the $20 credit we received towards our bill at the hotel restaurant (Ash Bar) or the bar (Blooms) made it all worth it. Speaking of Blooms, what an experience! The mirrored ceiling, the crimson banquettes, and the purple stools set the stage for a night to remember.
In a nutshell? The Hotel Ulysses is a triumph, an ode to Baltimore's multifaceted spirit. Whether you're here for the history, the design, or the sheer experience, the Ulysses promises and delivers. Highly recommended! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
GGuest UserWe stayed at the Courtyard for three nights over July 4 weekend and were very pleased with our experience. The hotel is well located for downtown Baltimore, very close to Pier 6 Pavilion if going to a concert there and not far from other sites as well (Reggie Lewis Museum, Maryland Jewish Museum). The room and facility was very very clean and the staff was pleasant and VERY helpful throughout, appreciative that we were staying there. We had a few needs for housekeeping help - a corkscrew and sheets and towels for the couch plus figuring out temperature control on the mini fridge - and in all three cases, staff was at the room in very short order. This is not a super fancy hotel - it's not claiming to be - but it is well priced and comfortable. If not interested in paying for hotel parking, the Little Italy parking garge is about 3-4 blocks away & there is free parking near there as well (be careful of signage though). Overall, a very very positive experience for sure. Exceeded expectations.

Going down fall was the Lack of supervision in the pool areas and not really so much the hotels followed but the guests who met their children swim and splash and jump in the Jacuzzi. There needs to be clear posted signs regarding no children in the hot tub under the age of 16 years old
TTracie WestThe hotel staff is exceptionally kind from the front desk to the cleaning staff. The location is a few blocks from the harbor and located next to Lexington Market. The breakfast was good with a waffle machine, eggs, sausage, yummy oatmeal with a wide variety of add-inns. Blueberry compote and candied pecans were my favorites. The room is spacious and clean with comfy beds and pillows. Overall I definitely would recommend. It's was a great price for the service. Newly renovated!

XXUThe location is a bit biased and suitable for renting a car. There is no place to eat around, but I feel that the restaurant is good, there are meals at 11 o'clock in the evening. GGuest UserThis is probably the single worst motel/hotel I have stayed in my entire life. I arrived early, so I understand some wait. I had to wait more than 2 hours (most hotels I have stayed at do have rooms ready before the listed check-in time). The staff was basically all from fairly to very unfriendly. After waiting for 1 & 1/2 hours I was told one room might be ready. After listening to the client before me state the Wi-Fi was completely inaccessible, I asked them what else I could expect not to work in this room. At this point the manager did an about face and told me I would have to wait another 30 minutes (they were obviously trying to dump me in a completely dysfunctional room). After another 30 minutes I was told the room was on the 3d floor, not the ground floor (I had an injury to my ankle tendon, so it was difficult to walk). When I arrived in the room this is what I found: 1) the door had been busted open repeatedly, so all the locks were loose and had been badly reattached. 2) the faucet fixture was completely loose and wiggly. 3) The hardware in the bathtub to turn the water on and off and regulate hot water was also completely loose and half busted. 4) The toilet seat was loose. 5) On the second day I found a live cockroach in the bathroom. 6) The AC and heating unit was basically impossible to adjust properly to a good temperature and was incredibly noisy when it came on 'automatically' so I had to turn it off. 7) The 'dinette' table attached to the wall was also loose. 8) The only 2 full days (in succession) that I stayed at the property, the front desk locked me out of my room by reprogramming the card keys: not only were there no apologies, but a holier-than-thou arrogant attitude when I complained about their actions. 9) There were innumerable people with significant problems staying at the motel. It almost looked like it was also functioning as a housing location for the destitute and the mentally questionable. On Saturday morning a lady trudged around the 3d and 4th floors, heavily banging and dragging her feet, and every 2-3 seconds emitting very loud lamentations. She did this for about 1 and ½ hours. People had barking dogs at 5 in the morning. There was constant car traffic at all hours of the night. Much door slamming. While some of this might be fully acceptable if it were a charitable organization housing the disadvantaged, to do this as or in combination with a motel, is unacceptable. 10) The cleaning ladies resented cleaning, and basically did nothing and made you feel they had just graciously performed the most difficult and demanding task in the world for just changing the towels. 11) I asked if they gave wake-up calls. The lady at the desk said she didn’t really know who would be there. She then agreed to a certain time in the morning the following day. ***Of course, that call was never made. 12) When given the card keys to enter the room, absolutely no instructions were given for the internet.
