"Pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It was clean and modern with a great view of the gulch!

"The hotel was very clean, a little older of a hotel but it had covered parking area which was nice. A nice breakfast was included every morning which included cereal, eggs, pancakes, waffles, breads, etc.. We went for Sturgis Bike week so everything was extremely busy and of course we paid more than three times the price per night for the hotel. It was close to Deadwood, walking distance to restaurants, bars and shops. Lots to do in the area.
If we go back, it would be before or after bike week so it wouldn't have been so busy."
GGuest UserIf you have a disability or ay mobility issues at all this is not the hotel for you. There is no handicap parking at the hotel, just shared parking a few blocks away. There is a valet service, but they had gone for the day when I arrived. To add insult to injury, even after asking about handicap parking options, the room they gave me was at the very end of the hotel, which is a block long.
The hotel itself is fine, but people with disabilities need to find other accommodations in Deadwood.
HHWe stopped by last year and loved it, so we decided to come back this year for the food we enjoyed. The room and location were fine, but this time we noticed the menu prices had gone up by nearly 30% per item. While the food was still good, the price jump was a bit off-putting.
