Very nice hotel, I rely on taxis to avoid driving in Barranquilla, driving is a different ballgame there. I had a hard time getting a cab to pick me up whenever I needed one, the waiting were too long.

Pésimo servicio.  Me quedé una noche con una amiga que venía de Chile y me cobraron el doble... me toco llamar vários días para resolver.

Al final me devolvieron una parte en dinero y otra parte en puntos (Lo cual no es justo).

Aclaro que por un funcionario daña todo el nombre de un hotel y la experiencia del cliente. 

Obs: la comida también muy malita por el precio.

Terrible service. I stayed one night with a friend who came from Chile and they charged me double... I had to call several days to resolve.

In the end they gave me back part in money and part in points (Which is not fair).

I clarify that an official damages the entire name of a hotel and the customer experience.

Note: the food is also very bad for the price.

The room is clean, the service is attentive, and the breakfast is quite rich. Overall good!

The hotel is located a couple of block from a very nice shopping center with plenty of restaurants and shops. The hotel is very nice as you would expect a HGI to be. I would say it is even nicer than the same hotel brand in the US. The price was very reasonable.  The hotel staff was very professional and courteous. The breakfast was very good. You can order eggs any style you like. It offers some items from the typical food from the region although that would be the one aspect I would say the hotel could increase its wow factor.  I definitely would recommend this hotel and would return when I travel to Barranquilla. 

My wife and I stayed here for two nights with another couple.  Overall it was a positive experience.  The breakfast buffet was included in our stay as Diamond members and it had a nice selection of food and we could get cooked to order eggs.  There is a nice grocery store immediately next door to the property which we found very handy.  Only issue our friends had was their key card did not work and it took several iterations to figure out it was the battery in their lock.  Once properly diagnosed the maintenance person fixed it right up.  There was a nice pool on the 3rd floor with big towels.  Good value for the price.  We would stay here again if we are ever in the area.
