Great
GGuest UserI was in CaSoBe with my family in February 2024. It has been a great holiday! The sea view from our cabin, the beach sunsets and the big swimming pools were a hit. The personnel of the resort were really friendly and always ready to answer our needs and questions. In particular, I would like to mention Mr. Alexis, who accompanied us in some trips around the area. He has been so kind and friendly with us and our kids and showed us all the best spots to visit, allowing us to experience the real Filipino life and tastes. A special thanks also to Marcus, from the resort management, who contributed to make our holiday memorable. We highly recommend Calatagan South Beach resort for any visitor who likes to find a clean, friendly and relaxing environment for his holiday. We hope to be able to go back sometime! Chiara

GGuest UserThis was an amazing trip! I haven't had a chance to write a review but here it goes. 1. The staff - Super amazing and friendly, always smiling and helpful. 2. The managers - great, caring, funny and always went above and beyond to help and accommodate. 3. Resort - Amazing ocean view and lots of activities, we went back 3 times in a span of 2 weeks. Lol 4. Room - clean and comfortable! 5. Food and drinks - delicious and amazing! One of the best in the Philippines. I've been to many hotels and resorts worldwide, but this has been the top of all of my stays. The vibe, the friendliness, activities, food and drinks. I've never felt so relaxed and I didn't even need to use my phone. No stress and all good vibes! Waking up to see the ocean with a nice cup of coffee with smooth music, it makes the hours of drive (almost 4 hours one way) to there well worth it. In my opinion, this was more than a stay, this was an unforgettable experience! We have been through the regular days and also the typhoon days, they have been amazing and helpful the whole time! It was definitely an adventure! Now I'm back in Florida again and I miss this place, but I'm planning a visit the Philippines next year and I will make this my top place to visit!

JJose Emmanuel evaOur stay at Splendido Hotel in Tagaytay was truly relaxing and memorable. The hotel has a serene and peaceful atmosphere, perfect for a weekend getaway. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with a beautiful view of the greenery and the cool Tagaytay breeze. The staff were all very accommodating and attentive, always ready to assist with a smile, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We also loved the amenities—especially the pool and golf course—which gave us both relaxation and recreation. The location is also a plus since it’s close to Tagaytay’s main attractions yet far enough to enjoy a quiet retreat away from the busy spots. Overall, Splendido Hotel gave us great value for money and a wonderful experience. Highly recommended for families, couples, or anyone looking to unwind in Tagaytay.

RRosalieWe recently stayed at Family villa 1 and was thoroughly impressed with everything—from the moment we arrived to the moment we checked out. The staff were incredibly warm, welcoming, and professional, always ready to assist with a smile. The room was spotless, cozy, and well-equipped with all the essentials (and more!). I especially appreciated the attention to detail—the comfy bed, free use of karaoke. The hotel’s location is perfect. Overall, exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this hotel. I’m already looking forward to my next stay!

MMargo ELashApart from the surroundings being naturally beautiful with trees, lake, etc., for this kudos for the way the place is designed… nothing much special about this place unfortunately. We were not impressed given all the hype in Social media platforms. Here are a few things I have noted that made me feel not worth coming back for: 1. Check in process is so Manual - we arrived right on check in time by 3pm. Lots of paperworks to be done, asked for each guests IDs, took photos of it. 1 paper we need to fill out with guest names etc, another paper to sign acknowledgement on rules, etc - literally in pen and paper. After all the paperworks, that is the only time we were briefed of the facilities map, where to go, what to see etc. So for this part alone - is almost 1 hour. Since we have to go to each room/suite, we had to wait for buggy to bring us, another waiting of about 30mins., we even needed to approach again the reception desk to ask where is the buggy just for them to check again. Come on, this is already 1.5 hr of us paying for the stay and yet we haven’t utilized the room and facilities itself. We were only able to settle in our rooms almost 5pm already. 2. Restaurants, I understand all are organic. Hence charges are high. We went to the Indian Vegetarian restaurant and ordered - Parata, Fries, Fried Tofu, Palak Paneer and 2 juices our bill is about 3,500 pesos. For it being homegrown plants and organic, we accept that amount is that high. However, we were only 3 tables filled in the restaurant, not full house and yet food took almost 1 hour to arrive. 😕 3. All else comes with charge if you wish to utilise, like massage, water therapy and all. Charges for each of this service is already same as how much the room cost. Free sessions - Yoga in morning is good. Sound therapy - not so. Room wise is ok. It is a expected with the rates they charge, you expect to be in a decent room at least. Nonetheless, it was good for experience. But may look out for other places with same facilities that will make you feel the value for money. Main disappointment we have is all the waiting time we had faced, while being there on non-peak days (weekday) and yet for each thing we had to do/request, we had to wait minimum 30mins before getting the service needed. Meanwhile, check out wise - everything was done fast and 12:30 sharp we were on our way out.😂 I am sharing based on what I have personally experienced, some may have enjoyed and experienced otherwise, unfortunately not the case for our group.

GGuest UserPROS: We enjoyed our stay although it’s only for 1 night. We tried to extend for another day but they were fully booked. The place is nice, rooms are clean & spacious with a good view of the Taal Lake. We had a relaxing massage we booked in their Spa after a day of swimming. We also enjoyed our dinner and drinks at terraza restaurant mainly because of the live music and very accommodating & friendly staff. CONS: The place was a bit busy & noisy as there were a lot of guests. This place, apparently,is a popular venue for some company’s team building, so expect lots of busses and employees/ guests doing team building activities, lots of people in the swimming pool & in restaurant (especially during breakfast). There are some amenities (ex billiards & darts) that you won’t be able to use if there is a company team building booked for the day (as they prioritise those guests), which I think is unfair as we are all paying guests and it’s included on what we paid and there’s no one using them at that time. Wifi connection is extremely poor! We used our mobile data all throughout our stay. TV didn’t work at all. We have to call the staff, about 4 times before finally someone came to check but still didn’t make the TV work. Front desk need more staff; there’s always a long queue of people & it takes time before staff will be able to attend to you

AAlwaystravellingHere's the revised review with your additions: --- I recently stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience. The view of the ocean from my room was absolutely breathtaking, making my mornings truly special. Check-in was impressively quick, and I received my key card in no time at all, which was a pleasant surprise. The location is fantastic, as it's conveniently close to a mall and just a short walk to the beach, allowing for easy access to sun and surf. The hotel feels exclusive, providing a serene and upscale atmosphere that enhances the overall experience. The room itself was lovely and well-maintained, and the bathroom was clean and modern, providing a comfortable space to unwind. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with beautiful views, great amenities, and a perfect location near the beach!

CCarenThe place is great, loads of complimentary drinks and food. When it comes to cleanliness, they can do better. And a little upgrade of the amenities will be best, too. But overall, we enjoyed our 3 nights stay at Camp Netanya. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Thanks to Sir Owen, the restaurant manager, and all of the staff for making our stay feel at home.

AAnn89The location is great, one tricycle ride to the Nasugbu downtown - where you can do groceries and eat at common fast foods, like McDonalds. The fare is Php20 only. The beach is not appealing, since it has black or dark sand. But you can opt to go to nearby islets with white sand and clearer water, you just need to rent a boat. The rooms are not that clean, and hardly maintained with a very old airconditioning unit. The tiny bathroom has a foul smell. No water heater, but you can get hot/cold water at the restaurant. Wifi is so-so, it can reach the guest's room area but if you need a stronger connection you need to go closer to the restaurant or reception area. A lot of things need to be improved in this resort. But this area in Nasugbu has one of the great sunset views.
