The service attitude of the front desk staff is good. There is an underground parking lot available when it snows. There is no need to remove snow in the morning. Unfortunately, some of the equipment in the room is old. The windows are not easy to open and close. There are protrusions beside the bed that may be scratched accidentally.

Chosen for the proximity to the train station, I was very happy with Whistler’s Inn. The room was comfortable, the bathroom clean, the inn was in the heart of Jasper Village, which not only was great for the proximity to dining but also the amazing hike to Old Fort Point.

GGuest UserBased on previous reviews I was really worried about staying here, in fact I tried to change hotel based on the previous reviews but no other availability. Needn't have worried at all! The room was clean and tidy, carpet clean, and no signs of wildlife in our room as a previous review stated. Not saying that review was false but our room was nothing like that review. We were on the 2nd floor so maybe wildlife doesn't make it up that far. I can only say what I found. It is a simple hotel, more motel style, but was clean and tidy. As for rude staff we did not find that at all. I did witness a rather rude customer who was treated back with a curt manner, but to be frank I would have been curt back if spoken to in the way the receptionist was spoken to. No need for rudeness at all. We were told when we arrived that there was no maid service due to staff shortages. Not an issue for us. We make our beds at home, doesn't hurt making them on holiday. Any items needed were supplied from reception as and when needed despite them coping with power outage due to the wildfire. All I can say is if you want 5 star treatment and can't lift a finger yourself and are disrespectful to staff then pay for a 5 star hotel. If you want simple accommodation and are of a polite nature and treat others how you like to be treated then give this hotel a go.
GGuest UserThis is our second time to stay at Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge. The environment of this resort is very beautiful, which include several lakes, golf course and trails. In the meanwhile, there are good restaurants in this resort. We did enjoy the wonderful dinner at Orso Trattoria restaurant. If we visit Jasper next time, this resort will be still our top priority choice.
GGuest UserConvenient, the location is on the edge of the store, and you can reach supermarkets and other restaurants in about ten minutes' walk. It only takes twelve minutes to drive to Maligne Canyon.
If you choose a loft room, you have to go up one flight of stairs to get to the room. There is no elevator in the building. There is coin laundry on the first floor, washing or drying clothes for 2 yuan.
The room has a great view. There is a dining table, kitchen, bathroom and sofa bed on the first floor, with complete cooking equipment. The second floor has a large bed and TV, and the skylight can be opened.
Lovely hotel, well placed in Jasper to visit the shops. Did not hear the trains. Would recommend.food good in the restaurant. Easy walking distance into the town of Jasper. Clean, staff friendly and helpful. Food arrived in a timely manner. Breakfast good.
ZZHIRONGMice 🐭 field mouse Before there were mice in the house, the first few times were lived in December in winter. The scenery is impeccable. If you fully recommend it in winter (no mice come out and freeze to death in winter), the epidemic is suffocated. The first summer will come when you encounter mice On the first night, twitter hunted for food in the house and found mice to find five or six o'clock before going to sleep. The second night, I drilled up from the gap in the lower stove. I saw it and looked at it, and then I closed the gap. There is no good way to say that you want to drill out of the hotel when you hear the sound. They are very common. They are also helpless. It is indeed in Canada and it is in a national park. The environment is so good. 1% can't avoid not staying on the lower floor. Staying on the upper floor because there are so many things in it. Under the lower floor, there is room for mice to live, and because of the footsteps of foreigners
GGuest UserEverything was great from the pool, hot tub and spa. There was just very limited parking and we were driving in a truck. So we had to park in the back in another hotels parking lot. All in all it was a great stay.
