I also want to use 'absolutely brilliant' to commend the Yida Silk Industry Hotel for its superior service, stunning views, quality accommodation, and exquisite breakfast. What I really want to do is give a special, huge shout-out to the hotel's concierge, Xiao Jiang. From the moment I drove into the Wuzhen parking lot, throughout my stay with sightseeing, activities, transportation, and dining, all the way until after check-out when he accompanied me to the parking lot and ensured I had driven off – his service was meticulous, thoughtful, tireless, and responsive to every request, even anticipating my needs. This level of service is something I haven't encountered in nearly ten years. Choosing to stay at Yida Silk Industry Hotel wasn't just amazing, surprising, and touching; I feel it was the best arrangement from heaven. If you're coming to Wuzhen, Yida Silk Industry Hotel is a must-choose.

PPamela Chong MeisiStayed at Splendid Clubhouse for 2 nights, and it was truly one of the highlights of my trip to China. I highly recommend slowing down and fully enjoying the serene, scenic surroundings this property offers—it’s an experience in itself.
From the moment I booked, the service was exceptional. My personal butler, Xiao Shen, reached out a day before my arrival to coordinate everything, including arranging for a seamless pick-up at the Scenic Area. Throughout my stay, Xiao Shen was attentive and thoughtful, ensuring every detail was taken care of—from daily arrangements to recommending great dining options.
Do make it a point to dine within the hotel, especially at Jin An Si Fang Cai (锦岸私房菜)—the food was outstanding. I was also pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade, and the view from my room was simply breathtaking, overlooking beautiful spring blooms.
Breakfast was another standout experience. It was incredibly delicious and thoughtfully curated, with multiple courses that were so satisfying I could easily skip lunch. Guests select their breakfast in advance, and everything is promptly served upon arrival at the restaurant, making the experience both seamless and indulgent.
Overall, the impeccable service, stunning views, and attention to detail made this an unforgettable stay. I would highly recommend Splendid Clubhouse to anyone looking for a peaceful and elevated retreat.

From the moment of pick-up at the guest service center to the final drop-off, everything was perfectly orchestrated. The entire experience was highly professional while still maintaining a warm and personal touch.
The room was spotless, very spacious, and thoughtfully equipped, including a fridge stocked with complimentary drinks. Upon arrival, the scenic area and park were clearly explained, and throughout my stay the staff anticipated needs almost before I expressed them.
What truly stood out was the exceptional service. The team was extremely friendly and attentive. While English was basic, they handled communication seamlessly using mobile translators, ensuring everything was smooth and efficient.
A special highlight was the complimentary boat ride from the hotel along the main canal to the reception area — a beautiful and memorable experience.
The scenic area itself is stunning: charming during daylight and absolutely magical at night when illuminated.
The hotel’s location is ideal — just a few steps from the river, centrally positioned within the park, and very close to the most iconic bridges.
I can strongly recommend both the scenic area and especially this hotel.

GGuest UserShengting is my top choice when visiting Wuzhen. The hotel is peaceful and quiet, and the butler service is excellent, arranging all our comings and goings, which really saved us a lot of hassle, effort, and time. It's perfect for families with kids, located right in the center of the scenic area, so you can pop back to the hotel for a rest whenever you get tired. Once recharged, you're ready to head out and explore again. I recommend getting up early to experience Wuzhen before the crowds arrive. For breakfast, I highly recommend the pickled cabbage and shredded pork noodles. The local dim sum (zaocha ke) tends to be a bit greasy, so the hotel's breakfast is definitely tastier. I'll definitely choose Shengting again on my next visit.

EEUC riderFantastic rooms. Very large and well appointed. Restaurants don’t do well for vegans but otherwise fine. Service in the Paulaner bar was slow with only one server the evening we tried it. It’s not cheap but it’s very good value for what you get. I’ve stayed twice and would definitely stay again. Recommended if you want to be near the train station.

HHarold LHRFirst off, I'm someone who's quite particular about accommodation when I travel. So, when I came to Tongxiang, I chose the only five-star hotel available. Let's start with the positives: the location is great, the room cleanliness is excellent – the housekeeping staff are very diligent. Someone even opened the car door for me when I arrived. All the expected services were provided, and the room was more comfortable than I anticipated.
Now for the negatives: I've lived abroad for many years and this was my first time in Tongxiang. In the morning, I asked if I could have breakfast in Tower A because what I eat isn't what I saw online, so I wasn't aware there might even be a difference in breakfast offerings between Tower A and Tower B. As an outsider, I didn't know; I just thought they were two separate buildings. The female receptionists all had good attitudes. However, there was one male staff member – I don't know if he thought I was being difficult for staying in Tower B, or what. I don't believe I'm overthinking his demeanor. I'd spoken with the front desk over the phone, and this gentleman, both before I returned to China and today during check-out, had a very arrogant attitude. I didn't get a good look at his name or ID badge because I was rushing to catch my flight, otherwise I definitely would have filed a complaint against him.
Overall, the experience was good. The hotel facilities, environment, everything was great. You can tell it's a well-established 5-star hotel with a lot of care put into it.

✨✨xintiantian✨This was my first time in Wuzhen, and since I was driving and unfamiliar with parking, I tried to contact the hotel in advance, but couldn't get through – their phone just kept ringing. I reached out to Trip.com customer service, and they responded quickly, sending me directions and the exact location of the parking lot, which made navigation much easier. Big thanks to Trip.com! When I arrived at the Wuzhen customer service center at 1 PM, the parking lot was almost full, and the roads were closed off. I circled the scenic area entrance twice, unable to find a spot. I must give a special shout-out to the traffic police officer at the main entrance of Wuzhen; he was incredibly accommodating and moved the closed road barrier for me, allowing me to enter the multi-story parking garage smoothly. For first-time visitors like me, who struggle to find parking at the main gate, this officer's humane management was truly a lifesaver! Once I got to the hotel, all my previous frustrations vanished. The hotel's location is incredibly convenient; I honestly think it's the best-located hotel I've ever chosen for a trip, making it super easy to explore Wuzhen. Although the room wasn't huge, it was spotlessly clean! The facilities were also well-thought-out, and even the cups on the vanity were beautiful!

AAnonymous UserCame with my kids, and it's great for ordering takeout; the robot delivery is super convenient, and sometimes a staff member brings it, and their attitude is good. The environment is also pretty nice. The only downside is the breakfast buffet, which is really bad and has very few options. Luckily, it wasn't crowded, even on a Sunday, with plenty of empty seats when I went at 9 AM. I suggest adding some chicken nuggets, which kids love, or prawn crackers. Everything else was fine, but the floor is really slippery, so be careful. Shery provided excellent service, and I'd come back again. Yesterday, I saw penguins at Nanhu Tiandi and absolutely loved the 'Sui Yin Ji Liang' there. Anyway, it's better than the Four Points by Sheraton, where you have to go downstairs yourself to pick up takeout, and the air isn't as good, though it is a bit more value for money.

LluckydoyThe rooms and beds were quite spacious, but nothing really wowed me. Let me mention a few things I wasn't happy with. The so-called 'kids' paradise' at this family hotel was just a tiny inflatable bouncy castle – quite a letdown. The towels and bath towels were a bit old. In one room, there were only a few tissues left in the box. I'd specifically requested a non-smoking room, but one of the rooms had a distinct smoke smell upon entering. Also, I'm not sure if the booking deposit was collected by the hotel or the platform. Firstly, they charged the room fee again during check-in, plus a security deposit. Secondly, after checking out at noon, the booking deposit wasn't returned until I chased them for it in the afternoon.

The lobby attendant who checked me in was incredibly thoughtful and attentive; she anticipated needs I hadn't even voiced. And a special thanks to Xiaohuan and Xiaohao for their service as well. Your kindness made the end of my trip feel so warm!
