We stayed here at the end of July 2025. 1. **Great Location.** The hotel is right in the Yuehe Historic District, making it incredibly convenient for strolls, sightseeing, and dining. The hotel itself is quite expansive, featuring traditional water town-style buildings, canals, pedestrian paths, and a brand new main building with a scenic ground floor. 2. **Wonderful Rooms.** The main building is very new. I highly recommend the 'Yuehui Room' King-size bed room (it has a bathtub and a small lounge area, giving it a suite-like feel). The twin rooms are also very comfortable, boasting large wooden windows that open up to quintessential Jiangnan scenery. 3. **Excellent Service.** The front desk's feature wall is absolutely stunning. The lobby offers complimentary popcorn, traditional cultural workshops (intangible cultural heritage experiences), zongzi-making activities, and free drinks. Any issues we had were quickly resolved by the front desk staff. 4. **Breakfast was Superb!** A wide variety of exquisitely prepared dishes, featuring seasonal Jiangnan ingredients. Highlights included zongzi (rice dumplings) and freshly made preserved vegetable pastries (meicai shaobing). Honestly, the quality of this breakfast wouldn't be out of place in a luxury hotel costing over a thousand yuan (per night). In summary, if you're visiting Jiaxing for a short stay of two to three days, Yuehe is an excellent choice. While named an 'inn' (kezhan), it truly feels more like a proper hotel, and its location within the district offers the charm of an ancient town."

"My stay at the Hilton Jiaxing this time was absolutely fantastic! Even before I had fully stepped into the hotel, I was greeted by the warm enthusiasm of staff member Mona, who proactively helped upgrade my room – setting a wonderfully positive tone right from the start. The room itself was cozy and elegantly furnished. Its spacious layout, starting from a generous 42 square meters, ensured I never felt cramped. The panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offered a superb view; at night, the glittering city lights were a beautiful sight to behold right from my bed. The in-room amenities also reflected high quality: a 55-inch HD LCD TV, a separate shower and bathtub, and international brand Crabtree & Evelyn toiletries – every detail exuded a touch of luxury. Executive Rooms and Suites even come equipped with a capsule coffee machine and a variety of teas, truly demonstrating an understanding of guests' needs. The hotel's dining options were also a delightful surprise! Yu All-Day Dining restaurant offered an extensive breakfast buffet with a complete array of both Chinese and Western dishes. Local Jiaxing specialties like 'rouzong' (savory sticky rice dumplings) and Nanhu water caltrops, along with mini pan-fried buns and tofu pudding, all tasted fantastic. The freshly-made Eggs Benedict and pan-fried dumplings are definitely a must-try. Adjacent to the restaurant, there's a playful children's dining and play zone, which families with kids will surely appreciate. The Chinese restaurant on the 2nd floor specializes in local Shanghai and Cantonese cuisine, boasting a serene and elegant ambiance perfect for family gatherings or business dinners. Afternoon tea at the Silk Lobby Lounge was exquisite and delicious; paired with a signature cocktail, it created a wonderfully relaxing experience. The Executive Lounge's afternoon tea and Happy Hour were equally impressive, offering a wide variety of hot dishes, desserts, and fruits, all of high quality. The leisure facilities were also comprehensive. The fitness center on the 2nd floor features a variety of equipment, and the indoor heated pool has crystal-clear water. After a swim, you can unwind in the sauna. Furthermore, the hotel boasts an excellent location in Nanhu District, surrounded by all sorts of dining, entertainment, and shopping options. Wanda Plaza is just a short walk away, and it's not far from Nanhu Scenic Area, Yuehe Ancient Town, and Jiaxing South High-Speed Railway Station, making travel incredibly convenient. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Jiaxing, and I will definitely choose this hotel again next time!"

"The room was very good. I came back from Hangzhou temporarily to book a superior bed room. Because I explained in advance that I needed to be quieter, I came to the front desk to help me upgrade a room type. I explained that there was construction recently and specially arranged a quiet room for me. The whole is very new, the laundry room is also very new, and the robot delivers takeaway to the door. The service staff are very enthusiastic and polite. They will greet each other when they meet. They will take the initiative to bring me two bottles of water when I go out. Because I went out to travel to the attractions for a day, I bought the courier front desk and helped me collect ～. After staying for another day, it is highly recommended to stay in Atour."

"Just finished staying at this hotel. The experience was fantastic! I can't praise it enough! The location is absolutely amazing. It's just steps from the subway station, making it super convenient for visiting attractions and shopping, and it feels safe to return home at night. The front desk lady and guy were incredibly friendly and quick to check in. They even recommended nearby restaurants, which was so thoughtful! The room was incredibly clean, the bedding was soft, and the sleep was incredibly comfortable, with no odor at all. The bathroom was also thoroughly cleaned, and the hot water came quickly with good pressure, making showering incredibly comfortable. The most surprising thing was the soundproofing; it was a peaceful and quiet night without any interruptions. The breakfast was quite varied, with both Chinese and Western options, and the taste was excellent. I was able to leave feeling well-fed. Checking out was also smooth, and they even helped us call a taxi. The service was truly impeccable! I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in the area, and I've already recommended it to friends!"

"The Nanhu Hotel is truly excellent! First, let's talk about the environment – its garden-style design is absolutely captivating. Pavilions and towers are scattered harmoniously, the lake is clear, surrounded by lush greenery and ornamental rockeries. Walking through it feels like strolling in a classical garden, creating a wonderfully poetic ambiance. The architecture is also very distinctive, with white walls and dark-tiled roofs embodying traditional Chinese charm, yet some areas incorporate modern glass elements. This blend of ancient and contemporary is perfectly executed, making it incredibly photogenic. As for the accommodation experience, the room was very comfortable, well-equipped, and modern. The bedding was exceptionally soft, ensuring I had a wonderful night's sleep. Even the bath bags provided were of high quality. The service was also very thoughtful; from check-in to daily needs, the staff were consistently warm and attentive. We arrived at 11:30 AM. After completing check-in, the room wasn't quite ready yet. I spoke with the front desk lady, asking if we could enter early as our child needed a diaper change. She initially suggested the baby care room. I then explained that we also needed to warm food for our infant, which is when she agreed to let us in early. This was understandable, as the hotel was fully booked (we even saw housekeeping staff still cleaning rooms along the corridor at 7 PM). Later, during check-out, we faced another slightly awkward situation: our baby was asleep. I'd seen reviews mentioning no late check-outs, but I decided to call the front desk with a hopeful, 'just-in-case' attitude. They initially offered a 30-minute extension. I explained that our baby would likely sleep for over an hour, and they then graciously agreed to extend it until 1 PM, suggesting I call again if we still needed more time after that. We eventually checked out around 1:40 PM, and they even presented us with a farewell gift 🎁. Regarding breakfast, the queue was quite long when we arrived around 8:30 AM. When it was our turn, we were initially assigned an outdoor table. I mentioned we had a small baby and asked if we could wait for the next round to be seated indoors. They quickly and kindly arranged an indoor table for us, which was much more convenient for getting food. I also received a large latte. At the end, I asked if I could take it to my room if I couldn't finish it, and they readily agreed. The restaurant's food selection was quite rich, though it would be even better if there were more options suitable for young babies. I genuinely felt that while some regulations might be rigid, everyone was willing to adjust based on our actual needs. It’s a truly warm and accommodating hotel. Upon departure, a young concierge wearing glasses was also incredibly enthusiastic and proactive. My husband drove the car to the entrance, and I was holding our child. He immediately opened the car door for us and helped with our luggage 👏. We only stayed one night this time, but we'll definitely bring our child back for a second visit. I hope they'll add more play areas for children."

"A superb value hotel. Highly recommended. Newly renovated, the hotel is stylish and refined. Even during the May Day holiday, the prices were acceptable. The hotel is quite spacious, which helped disperse the crowds, so it never felt noisy. The business twin room, at 40 square meters, is generously sized and very comfortable. The garden outside the gym is also quite beautiful. Cross the bridge directly opposite the hotel, and in about 5 minutes, you'll reach Haogu Pagoda. Climbing the pagoda offers panoramic views of the entire South Lake. There's a beautiful greenway around South Lake, with weeping willows and clear blue waters, making for a very pleasant stroll. Turning right from the hotel, a 10-minute walk brings you to the Zicheng Ruins, with the Grand Cathedral right next door. A tram station is conveniently located by the cathedral. Xiexi Street is located behind the hotel, and a 15-minute walk will bring you to the famous Shaomai eateries there. Just to the right of the hotel, there's an ice cream shop. Their pecan ice cream is delicious, and their lemon-chili flavored ice cream is surprisingly amazing. Also nearby are a Wufangzhai specialty store and a cozy cat cafe. The hotel breakfast, priced at a very reasonable 38 RMB per person, offers great value. It includes live cooking stations for noodles and wontons, as well as fruit salads, freshly brewed coffee, and kid-friendly options like cereal and yogurt. Yuehe Street is also within easy reach. Hotel parking is free, and there are ample spaces, even during long holidays. Overall, highly recommended!"
