The Japanese restaurant, however, was a bit underwhelming. Many of the banquet halls are decorated to a national guesthouse standard with first-class decor. There's a railway line right in front, but it doesn't affect the soundproofing at all. The Jiaxing South Lake Hotel truly feels like a state guesthouse; it would be perfect if the service details were just a little more refined. Breakfast was decent."

"It's a relatively large hotel, but you can tell it's a bit older. First, when we checked in at 3:00 PM, we were told that many rooms weren't ready yet and we'd have to wait a long time. There were also a few other things that weren't quite right, like the dim lighting in the room, which made it difficult to pack properly. Cleanliness was okay. Finally, there was a huge gap between the headboard and the backrest, which was quite disturbing."

The room we stayed in seemed to be a few rooms left, because the door was opened in the past. After taking a bath, I found that there was hair on the small towel. I didn’t know if I didn’t change the grass or something. I didn’t dare to use it. In addition, there was no bag in the trash can in the room. I don't know if it was just finished cleaning and I didn't have time. There is room for improvement in all aspects of the newly opened store, but the price is not low. I hope to catch it. The overall is still satisfactory."

"The hotel overall exceeded my expectations. The room was quite clean, and being a new hotel, there were no strange odors. The bedding was very comfortable. The location is convenient for getting around, and the front desk staff Y provided just the right amount of service. I felt relaxed and at ease during my stay. I would definitely consider staying here again if I'm in the area!"
Jiaxing Yuanhu Hotel
"A bit disappointing. The location and ambiance are top-notch. The rooms are very small. The price is only slightly lower than Nanhu and Marriott, but the service is much worse. 1. The hotel slippers are reusable. This wasn't mentioned during check-in. I wore them for a while and thought they were fine before noticing "not complimentary" on them (to prevent others from taking them?). The front desk said they would disinfect them and that they had disposable ones available. Honestly, I felt uncomfortable, so they should at least have informed me and let me choose. 2. When I wanted to apply hand sanitizer to retrieve my ring, there wasn't any. I asked the front desk, and they said they had put some in before, but someone had put some unknown liquid in it… But so many hotels provide hand sanitizer; others can inspect the packaging, but you only have 21 rooms and you can't? Because I was worried about not having hand sanitizer, I only noticed the ring was turning purple when I started spinning it. 3. Breakfast: I won't comment on how good it was, but the coffee machine was broken (it couldn't make lattes, only black coffee). When I asked the restaurant lady, she nonchalantly said, "Yeah, it's broken, there's only one..." 4. At the front desk, the water delivery person used the informal "you" (您) when I used it, but the other person used "you" (你), without any polite language. Honestly, I was a bit shocked."

"This year, we chose to spend Chinese New Year in the countryside again, where we could set off firecrackers, which added to the festive atmosphere 🧨. We booked Yuanshe in advance, and the rural environment was as quiet and spacious as ever. Upon check-in, we learned that Yuanshe is a ******* Buddhist-themed establishment. The staff lit incense and led us to our rooms, which were all detached villas, offering both privacy and tranquility. They also provide three meals a day; breakfast was relatively simple, but every night there was a sweet soup to help us sleep, which was very comforting after a long day. On New Year's Eve afternoon, we also experienced Yuanshe's blessing ceremony. The sound of firecrackers at night truly created the festive atmosphere! Just a small personal suggestion: The restaurant allows dogs to dine in, but from a hygiene perspective, I wouldn't recommend bringing dogs into the restaurant. It's best to wait outside."

"Out of all the hotels I stayed in during this Chinese New Year trip, this one was by far the most satisfying. The new renovations and overall feel were excellent. From the bedding to the color scheme of the room, everything felt very comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised to get such a great room for just 138 yuan on the fifth day of the ***** New Year! The hallways are lined with thick carpets, and the rooms are carpeted too, providing excellent soundproofing. It has central air conditioning, free parking, and even a smart toilet. Fantastic value for money!"
