Absolutely amazing! One step into the bustling old street, another into the serene quietude. The hotel is nestled in the ancient town, a hidden gem amidst the city's hustle and bustle. The aesthetics and service are, of course, top-notch. What truly stood out was our butler, Huang Qi, who was incredibly attentive. From arranging transfers to and from the scenic area to meticulously planning our itinerary during our stay, everything was perfectly organized. Wuzhen offers so much to see and do, with many activities requiring reservations and advance planning, and Huang Qi took care of all of it beforehand. Staying within Xizha allowed us to experience Wuzhen in the early mornings and late evenings, avoiding the crowds and enjoying it like a privileged few. Wuzhen has also evolved so much, with technology, theater, and the 'Pillow-Water Homes'... it truly lives up to its reputation as the ultimate ancient town. A truly satisfying trip!

The room was a bit dim, not particularly bright. However, the overall ambiance was fantastic, giving off a feeling of stepping back into a wealthy民國 (Republic of China era) household, allowing me to experience life as a young lady from that period. There's a small courtyard and a patio, and the bedding was very comfortable with a mattress that was just right – not too soft, not too firm. The only downside was that the soundproofing wasn't great, so if that's an issue for you, you might want to reconsider. Breakfast was standard. What truly touched me was the thoughtful service from the dinner reservation attendant. We had a play to catch at 7:30 PM, and since the restaurant was busy that day, there was no room service. I went to pick up our order, and because our reservation was for later, I was worried about being late for the play. I told the attendant that if the food was ready, she could just leave it at the front desk. She kindly offered to have the food ready around the time we'd be done with the play. When I went back after the play, she had kept our meal warm in an insulated box. On a hot summer night, this was incredibly touching, and it's precisely why I keep returning to Wuzhen. A sincere thank you again to the restaurant attendant with the bob cut hair that day. Just a small note: the stir-fried beef with yellow chili was a bit too salty 🥹.

This is a guesthouse in the Xizha Scenic Area. It's at the end of a narrow alley, so I couldn't find it on my own. But the staff at the hostel kindly called and asked for the hotel, and I was able to find it. The hotel staff were very friendly. The room has a lovely atmosphere, and it's perfect for exploring the ancient town late at night or early in the morning. The air conditioning was weak, so it was a little cold.

Stayed here for 3d2n on March 9 2025! The hotel staff was really friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is in Xitang which is a tourist area so come in after 5pm and the entrance fee is free! The hotel staff was really friendly as we left a note letting them know that my partner is a professional photographer so we booked a room with a balcony to take pictures. Before we checked-in, the owner offered to bring us to another hotel he owns in the area to see if liked the views there better but we still chose to stay in Manjuelong. The rooms are quite spacious and the hotel was quite quiet at the time. The hotel is situated inside a tourist area which was quite convenient for us to walk around and explore! If we go back to Jiaxing again, we will consider staying here again!

This guesthouse was such a great find for our trip to the scenic area! The owner is a local and recommended some amazing, authentic restaurants that weren't expensive at all. The room was clean and cozy, and the toiletries were comfortable and reassuring to use. The front desk lady was very thoughtful, helping us with our luggage. The service was flawless throughout, I truly recommend this place to anyone visiting!

Highly recommended! The environment is great, the space is large, and there are many shops nearby, making it convenient to order takeout. The bathroom has a wet and dry separation, and the room comes with a large floor-to-ceiling window offering beautiful views outside.

Let me talk about the advantages first. The location of this homestay is very good. It is a turn away from the attraction, and then the scenery outside the window is okay, but it is recommended that you choose the 2nd floor to stay first. I am on the third floor. I can’t shoot the window. The effect of the beautiful scenery, I have to go to the window and shoot downstairs to get the scene. The facilities in the hotel are old, and the sheets and quilts have been washed out of the small hole. The bed curtains cannot be closed. The light will be transmitted in the morning. Although the introduction page indicates that the hotel has parking spaces, in fact, the hotel does not have parking spaces! The hotel has no parking space! The hotel has no parking space! Paid parking is not far away, 30 yuan overnight.

Of all the places we visited in Jiangnan, Wuzhen left the gentlest and most healing impression. It's hard to put into words the profound sense of peace I felt – that unique tranquility and serenity of a misty ancient town, which instantly allowed my city-weary body and mind to completely relax. For a long time to come, I'll cherish the memory of strolling along Wuzhen's stone-paved alleys, lost in thought beside the flowing water and evening breeze, experiencing such beautiful, undisturbed moments. The overall stay at the Huajianji Hotel far exceeded my expectations. Compared to many guesthouses nearby, its quality and comfort were significantly superior. The environment was elegant and pristine, and the room decor was exquisite and clean, offering a level of comfort comparable to high-end hotels. Travel often involves unexpected itinerary changes, and the staff were incredibly understanding and accommodating throughout, showing thoughtfulness in every interaction. Wuzhen's charm and poetic beauty are everywhere – exploring Dongzha and Xizha, walking over small bridges and beside flowing streams, watching the lanterns light up at night. Every scene was captivating, making for a day that was both relaxed and fulfilling. Especially when the ancient town lit up at night, the atmosphere was simply magical. Both adults and children were completely immersed in the beauty and had a wonderful, enjoyable time. A special thank you goes to all the hotel staff. Even before our check-in, they proactively communicated with us in detail about our itinerary and thoughtfully reminded us of travel precautions. Their service throughout was warm and attentive. They even gave us a free room upgrade, which was a huge surprise. Even with last-minute small requests, they responded immediately and did their utmost to help resolve them, always thinking from the guest's perspective. Their meticulous and warm service truly made us feel valued. Revisiting Wuzhen after a long time felt as captivating as the first encounter. Just like Wuzhen's inherent gentle charm, once you've been, it never truly leaves you. And this Huajianji hotel is destined to be my only choice when I return to Wuzhen. I genuinely recommend it to every traveler visiting Wuzhen.
