Pet Friendly Hotels in Jiaxing

***November 2025 Stay Experience*** I received a call immediately after booking to confirm my arrival time and arrange ticket purchases (discounts available, free for seniors over 70). A friendly staff member picked me up and helped with my luggage; they responded promptly to any questions. Regarding the environment, I really loved the courtyard and cabins. Sitting in the courtyard watching the swaying trees and listening to the wind and birdsong was the epitome of idyllic living. However, the reality is that there are mosquitoes, and it gets quite chilly in late autumn and early winter. The duplex layout was a highlight when I chose the room, but I wouldn't recommend it for older people. Getting up at night requires climbing stairs to the first floor, which isn't very safe. The bathroom doesn't have a door, so water splashes onto the sink area. There's no absorbent mat either; I suggest improvements. Also, the air conditioner is extremely noisy, but when it's off, it's very cold and damp, and the blankets feel damp. The staff member mentioned that the noise seems particularly loud when it's quiet here. I explained the situation to the young lady, and she changed my room to ”West Window Dream” for the second night. Although the atmosphere and design were slightly inferior, the standing air conditioner was powerful, and she even added a blanket and an electric blanket, which satisfied my comfort needs! Before our trip to Wuzhen, we did our research and specifically chose a guesthouse in Nanzha. Compared to the commercial atmosphere of the Xizha Scenic Area, we much preferred the authentic local vibe of Nanzha. Yishuiju is beautifully situated right by the river; from our window, we had a view of the historic Jiangnan Canal, which was incredibly evocative and transportive. What made our stay truly exceptional was the warm and thoughtful care from Ms. Zhong, the owner of Yishuiju. Upon our arrival, she promptly came to the roadside to pick us up. When we went out exploring in the evening, she worried we might get lost and sent us photos of landmarks and the guesthouse entrance from her phone. She also frequently checked if we needed anything, truly making us feel completely at home.

Came to Xitang Ancient Town for Chinese New Year, and it was really convenient for my family and kids to stay at this hotel. The twin beds could even be pushed together to form a king size, which was perfect for the little ones. The hotel's surroundings are lovely and elegant, and it was so pleasant to enjoy some tea by the Xitang river. My parents and the kids had a wonderful time.

From Jiaxing Railway Station, you should take Didi to this hotel though using public transport is still possible. You can find the hailing location easily, and the officers near hailing location are helpful. The hotel itself has spacious rooms, decent facilities, hot water, etc. I visit it when the temperature below 5°C in January. So everything hot is ”mandatory”. If the air condition was too hard to make your room comfortably warm, you can ask for extra heater, portable. The hotel doesn't have elevators, but don't worry, the hotel officer (owner ?) will gladly help you to bring all your luggage up to the first floor. It seem that the rooms opened at floor 1 only (level 2). Sorry my mistake. The location is not faraway from Wuzhen West Gate. Near supermarket (Great Super. Turn left from hotel's door, walk around 200m, right at the intersection), traditional market, food stalls (turn right from hotel's door) etc. I believe you will enjoy to explore.. Lastly, install Amap for navigation, Didi for hailing taxi, Alipay for payment, and everything possible for translation. Of course, buy local sim card. The people are very helpful and nice, if you do that at first to them. That's my personal experience.

I chose this hotel after looking online for a long time. The sanitary conditions are really good. I booked a room on the second floor, facing the river. I loved the floor-to-ceiling windows next to the bed. The scenery outside the window was also very beautiful. Free pick-up or drop-off at Xitang Scenic Area Station: the store manager specially drove to pick us up, and also gave us a fruit plate when we arrived at the hotel. The reception service was very warm! ps: His home is only 80 meters away from the entrance of the scenic spot. It is very convenient to enter and exit the scenic spot. Because you can enter and exit the scenic spot at will by swiping your face within 24 hours, you can sleep in late the next day and rush to the entrance of the scenic spot for the last time.

I originally only planned to stay in Wuzhen for one day, but this tatami room with its floor-to-ceiling windows offering views of green trees, blue skies, white clouds, flowers, and birds flying by was so soothing that I stayed for two days straight. I really want to bring this window and the beautiful view home with me.

If you're not in a hurry, you can sit on the guesthouse balcony, sip some tea, and watch the Wupeng boats slowly glide by. Across the river, you'll see bustling shops and people, and observing the comings and goings of both people and boats allows life to slow down, offering a glimpse into the diverse tapestry of human experience.

Facilities: The room is very good, very suitable for couples to take photos, and the view of the small bridge opposite is great! Hygiene: The room hygiene is very good, nothing to fault Service: The boss picked us up from Xizha in the evening and helped us pick up our luggage at noon and deliver our luggage the next day. He was really considerate! The service is very attentive!

For this price and location, cannot complain. Was quite content. Great location, rooms clean enough. It’s a family run property in an old town and old building, so please do not expect 5-star service.
