GGuest UserThe hotel proprietor of this place was so friendly, helpful and kind; she really made me feel welcome and comfortable. It was raining when I arrived and she met the taxi with an umbrella and carried my luggage up to the room. She also heard me open the door in the morning and ran to carry my luggage downstairs again and waited with me to make sure I found my taxi and gave me a gift of cakes. She also offered to meet me to make sure I got back to the hotel in the evening. She was the best hotel manager I have met during my 8 weeks in China,so far. The hotel is in a great location just a few minutes walk from the West gate along a,tree lined avenue. Easy to find for taxis to park outside. Very clean. I was given extra duvets as the bed was a bit firm for me because I have a hip problem. Highly recommend this place to stay.

I received a call immediately after booking to confirm my arrival time and arrange ticket purchases (discounts available, free for seniors over 70). A friendly staff member picked me up and helped with my luggage; they responded promptly to any questions.
Regarding the environment, I really loved the courtyard and cabins.
Sitting in the courtyard watching the swaying trees and listening to the wind and birdsong was the epitome of idyllic living. However, the reality is that there are mosquitoes, and it gets quite chilly in late autumn and early winter.
The duplex layout was a highlight when I chose the room, but I wouldn't recommend it for older people. Getting up at night requires climbing stairs to the first floor, which isn't very safe.
The bathroom doesn't have a door, so water splashes onto the sink area. There's no absorbent mat either; I suggest improvements.
Also, the air conditioner is extremely noisy, but when it's off, it's very cold and damp, and the blankets feel damp. The staff member mentioned that the noise seems particularly loud when it's quiet here.
I explained the situation to the young lady, and she changed my room to ”West Window Dream” for the second night. Although the atmosphere and design were slightly inferior, the standing air conditioner was powerful, and she even added a blanket and an electric blanket, which satisfied my comfort needs! Thank you, Xiao Wen, for your service!

GGuest UserBefore our trip to Wuzhen, we did our research and specifically chose a guesthouse in Nanzha. Compared to the commercial atmosphere of the Xizha Scenic Area, we much preferred the authentic local vibe of Nanzha. Yishuiju is beautifully situated right by the river; from our window, we had a view of the historic Jiangnan Canal, which was incredibly evocative and transportive. What made our stay truly exceptional was the warm and thoughtful care from Ms. Zhong, the owner of Yishuiju. Upon our arrival, she promptly came to the roadside to pick us up. When we went out exploring in the evening, she worried we might get lost and sent us photos of landmarks and the guesthouse entrance from her phone. She also frequently checked if we needed anything, truly making us feel completely at home.

GGuest UserI like living in Dongzha, it is quiet and comfortable, the air is good, the scenery is good, the location of the B&B is super good, not far from the entrance of Dongzha, the boss is very nice, pick us up, the B&B is very clean, the window is facing the river, sitting and drinking tea is very leisurely

GGuest UserI brought my elderly parents to Xitang for Women's Day, and a friend recommended this hotel inside the scenic area. It truly has a beautiful Chinese garden design, with winding paths that create a wonderful sense of seclusion. We stayed in a balcony room, which even had a swing chair. It was incredibly pleasant to swing and chat with my family as the sun set. The room's wet/dry separation design was very practical, and the room service was exceptionally attentive. It was also very convenient to walk into the core scenic area. We had a panoramic view of Xitang bathed in sunshine and later, illuminated by fishing boats and lights. Watching people in traditional Hanfu attire wander through the scenic area felt like traveling a thousand years back in time, perfectly embodying the creative concept behind the 'Guangnian' (Lightyear) Hotel name!

GGuest UserFrom Jiaxing Railway Station, you should take Didi to this hotel though using public transport is still possible. You can find the hailing location easily, and the officers near hailing location are helpful.
The hotel itself has spacious rooms, decent facilities, hot water, etc. I visit it when the temperature below 5°C in January. So everything hot is ”mandatory”. If the air condition was too hard to make your room comfortably warm, you can ask for extra heater, portable.
The hotel doesn't have elevators, but don't worry, the hotel officer (owner ?) will gladly help you to bring all your luggage up to the first floor. It seem that the rooms opened at floor 1 only (level 2). Sorry my mistake.
The location is not faraway from Wuzhen West Gate. Near supermarket (Great Super. Turn left from hotel's door, walk around 200m, right at the intersection), traditional market, food stalls (turn right from hotel's door) etc. I believe you will enjoy to explore..
Lastly, install Amap for navigation, Didi for hailing taxi, Alipay for payment, and everything possible for translation. Of course, buy local sim card.
The people are very helpful and nice, if you do that at first to them. That's my personal experience.

CCibeibeiI originally only planned to stay in Wuzhen for one day, but this tatami room with its floor-to-ceiling windows offering views of green trees, blue skies, white clouds, flowers, and birds flying by was so soothing that I stayed for two days straight. I really want to bring this window and the beautiful view home with me.

GGuest UserI chose this hotel after looking online for a long time. The sanitary conditions are really good. I booked a room on the second floor, facing the river. I loved the floor-to-ceiling windows next to the bed. The scenery outside the window was also very beautiful.
Free pick-up or drop-off at Xitang Scenic Area Station: the store manager specially drove to pick us up, and also gave us a fruit plate when we arrived at the hotel. The reception service was very warm!
ps: His home is only 80 meters away from the entrance of the scenic spot. It is very convenient to enter and exit the scenic spot. Because you can enter and exit the scenic spot at will by swiping your face within 24 hours, you can sleep in late the next day and rush to the entrance of the scenic spot for the last time.
