Pet Friendly Hotels in Jiaxing

The hotel proprietor of this place was so friendly, helpful and kind; she really made me feel welcome and comfortable. It was raining when I arrived and she met the taxi with an umbrella and carried my luggage up to the room. She also heard me open the door in the morning and ran to carry my luggage downstairs again and waited with me to make sure I found my taxi and gave me a gift of cakes. She also offered to meet me to make sure I got back to the hotel in the evening. She was the best hotel manager I have met during my 8 weeks in China,so far. The hotel is in a great location just a few minutes walk from the West gate along a,tree lined avenue. Easy to find for taxis to park outside. Very clean. I was given extra duvets as the bed was a bit firm for me because I have a hip problem. Highly recommend this place to stay.

***November 2025 Stay Experience*** I received a call immediately after booking to confirm my arrival time and arrange ticket purchases (discounts available, free for seniors over 70). A friendly staff member picked me up and helped with my luggage; they responded promptly to any questions. Regarding the environment, I really loved the courtyard and cabins. Sitting in the courtyard watching the swaying trees and listening to the wind and birdsong was the epitome of idyllic living. However, the reality is that there are mosquitoes, and it gets quite chilly in late autumn and early winter. The duplex layout was a highlight when I chose the room, but I wouldn't recommend it for older people. Getting up at night requires climbing stairs to the first floor, which isn't very safe. The bathroom doesn't have a door, so water splashes onto the sink area. There's no absorbent mat either; I suggest improvements. Also, the air conditioner is extremely noisy, but when it's off, it's very cold and damp, and the blankets feel damp. The staff member mentioned that the noise seems particularly loud when it's quiet here. I explained the situation to the young lady, and she changed my room to ”West Window Dream” for the second night. Although the atmosphere and design were slightly inferior, the standing air conditioner was powerful, and she even added a blanket and an electric blanket, which satisfied my comfort needs! The house price is good, cost-effective, the service is also very good, I like the overall style, and there is an ancient well in the yard! Very close to the scenic spot, convenient! Highly recommended for a family trip!

Like a 'branch of spring' offered from Jiangnan, this stay was a true delight. It's the perfect choice for a large family or two to three smaller families traveling together, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the most authentic Jiangnan water town experience. The traditional, all-wood local residence, while some of its amenities might not be as modern as those in standard hotels, offered a unique and poetic atmosphere by the water that no star-rated hotel could ever hope to replicate. Our hostess was incredibly warm and welcoming. She proactively contacted us before our trip with essential information, met us by the roadside upon arrival to assist with parking, and patiently walked us through every detail of our stay. She even went above and beyond by preparing breakfast for us for two days. The Jiangnan-style stir-fried bamboo shoots with pickled vegetables, golden scrambled eggs, and freshly made toppings generously ladled over steaming noodles truly melted away the chill of the crisp water town mornings.

I brought my elderly parents to Xitang for Women's Day, and a friend recommended this hotel inside the scenic area. It truly has a beautiful Chinese garden design, with winding paths that create a wonderful sense of seclusion. We stayed in a balcony room, which even had a swing chair. It was incredibly pleasant to swing and chat with my family as the sun set. The room's wet/dry separation design was very practical, and the room service was exceptionally attentive. It was also very convenient to walk into the core scenic area. We had a panoramic view of Xitang bathed in sunshine and later, illuminated by fishing boats and lights. Watching people in traditional Hanfu attire wander through the scenic area felt like traveling a thousand years back in time, perfectly embodying the creative concept behind the 'Guangnian' (Lightyear) Hotel name!

The location is fantastic, just a 10-15 minute stroll from Dongzha, Xizha, and Nanzha. The surrounding area is bustling with plenty of restaurants, breakfast spots, coffee shops, pharmacies, small supermarkets, and even massage spas – really convenient! The hotel reception also offers free stamps of Wuzhen attractions, which is a nice touch. To be honest, I'd never stayed in a guesthouse before, having only experienced 2-5 star hotels for business and leisure. Given that I have no guesthouse comparisons, and considering the price of just over a hundred yuan a night, here’s my review: First, soundproofing: The sound insulation between rooms and between the hallway and rooms is comparable to a standard hotel. Occasionally, I'd hear cars passing outside, but it wasn't overly noisy or disturbing. Cleanliness: The bedding was very clean, and as someone with sensitive skin, I had no issues during my three-night stay. The bathroom was also good, even providing disposable toilet seat covers, which is more comprehensive than most hotels! Service attitude: Overall, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Daily cleaning was prompt. Knowing I was from the north, they reminded me to turn on the air conditioning upon entering the room, but early spring in Jiangnan was surprisingly cold, so I ended up asking for a second duvet on the second day. Facilities: While it's only a bit over a hundred yuan a night, and considering the accommodation quality, I shouldn't really nitpick, but I do want to mention one minor drawback: there was no place to hang clothes in the bathroom. 😥

I originally only planned to stay in Wuzhen for one day, but this tatami room with its floor-to-ceiling windows offering views of green trees, blue skies, white clouds, flowers, and birds flying by was so soothing that I stayed for two days straight. I really want to bring this window and the beautiful view home with me.

I chose this hotel after looking online for a long time. The sanitary conditions are really good. I booked a room on the second floor, facing the river. I loved the floor-to-ceiling windows next to the bed. The scenery outside the window was also very beautiful. Free pick-up or drop-off at Xitang Scenic Area Station: the store manager specially drove to pick us up, and also gave us a fruit plate when we arrived at the hotel. The reception service was very warm! ps: His home is only 80 meters away from the entrance of the scenic spot. It is very convenient to enter and exit the scenic spot. Because you can enter and exit the scenic spot at will by swiping your face within 24 hours, you can sleep in late the next day and rush to the entrance of the scenic spot for the last time.

Facilities: The room is very good, very suitable for couples to take photos, and the view of the small bridge opposite is great! Hygiene: The room hygiene is very good, nothing to fault Service: The boss picked us up from Xizha in the evening and helped us pick up our luggage at noon and deliver our luggage the next day. He was really considerate! The service is very attentive!

For this price and location, cannot complain. Was quite content. Great location, rooms clean enough. It’s a family run property in an old town and old building, so please do not expect 5-star service.
