Excellent
DdyhxWhat a beautiful hotel, from outside to inside. It's located just outside Xitang Scenic Area, but they have a backdoor through the garden where the staff can escort and bring guests thru so you don't have to pay again for a ticket to enter the attraction.
Every bit of the room is spacious, from the bathroom to shower area to the bedroom. I love how the bed faces a full ceiling to floor window where you can wake up to a lovely view while still lying in bed.
The bed and pillows are firm and comfy. The water pressure in the shower is good but hard to control the temperature. The hair dryer is a little weak and took a while to dry my short hair. The room also came with a generous plate of fresh fruits.
Service was excellent and friendly. Breakfast buffet was simple, nothing fancy but the usual staples are there and food quality is ok. The live noodles station was the best for me, can't go wrong with hot noodles soup & wantons, especially on a cold morning.
Was given a beautiful tea cup as a farewell gift at check-out.
Overall it was a great stay and I highly recommend anyone planning to stay a night at Xitang to stay here!

TTaotaoJJXitang is truly beautiful, with its small bridges, flowing water, and traditional homes, offering both a lively atmosphere and the delicate charm of Jiangnan. The hotel's location is excellent; you just cross a small bridge and you're in the ancient town. My stay was very pleasant. Parking was super convenient, and the place felt really cozy. I had a great experience! The front desk staff, both the young men and women, were all lovely, gentle, and polite. They even offered late-night snacks and desserts! This is probably the best hotel experience I've had in Xitang. It will definitely be my top choice for my next visit.

AAnonymous UserVisited during the Spring Festival, and it was a fantastic experience—fewer crowds and pleasant weather. Wuzhen's tourism management is excellent; the staff are warm and attentive, the shuttle buses are frequent and convenient, and the ancient buildings are well-maintained. This trip was a 10/10.
The Shuishi Keshe guesthouse offers a quiet stay, and the morning tea restaurant next door means you don't need a reservation. It's located right at the entrance of the scenic area, and the sculling boat dock is just a stone's throw away. The only downsides are that there's no elevator to the third floor (it only goes to the second, so you have to climb stairs for the rest), and the view from the window is just rooftops, not the water. However, the front desk staff helped with my luggage, so it wasn't a big deal. The hotel facilities and hygiene were great; I had a very comfortable stay.
A special shout-out to the scenic area's shuttle buses! Staying inside the scenic area means you can use them freely, and they're numerous, fast, and the drivers are very friendly—it was incredibly convenient. On the second day, we went to Wucun, so after breakfast, we checked out. The front desk sent our luggage directly to the visitor center, and after enjoying Wucun, we just took a shuttle bus to the exit and picked it up. It couldn't have been easier!

GGuest UserI brought my elderly parents to Xitang for Women's Day, and a friend recommended this hotel inside the scenic area. It truly has a beautiful Chinese garden design, with winding paths that create a wonderful sense of seclusion. We stayed in a balcony room, which even had a swing chair. It was incredibly pleasant to swing and chat with my family as the sun set. The room's wet/dry separation design was very practical, and the room service was exceptionally attentive. It was also very convenient to walk into the core scenic area. We had a panoramic view of Xitang bathed in sunshine and later, illuminated by fishing boats and lights. Watching people in traditional Hanfu attire wander through the scenic area felt like traveling a thousand years back in time, perfectly embodying the creative concept behind the 'Guangnian' (Lightyear) Hotel name!

GGuest UserAbsolutely beautiful! The room decor truly captures the essence of Jiangnan. I initially thought staying by the water would be damp and cold, but stepping into the room completely changed my mind. It was warm, very clean, and incredibly cozy. The service at Wuzhen Xizha is excellent; they even handle luggage transport. After checking in at the visitor center, you can go explore, and your luggage will be delivered to your accommodation by staff. Thumbs up! 👍 You can capture stunning views right from your room, and the breakfast is plentiful and well-balanced – so delicious! I'll definitely come back if I get the chance. Thank you! 🌹

GGuest UserI chose this place for its extensive outdoor activities, and indeed, the outdoor facilities are quite abundant. However, everything else was a letdown.
1. Our room reeked of new renovations. I suspect it hadn't been occupied much. The air purifier glowed red all day. After closing the doors and windows at night, the smell was so bad it gave me a headache. Traveling with a child, I was genuinely worried about poisoning.
2. The water was dirty. I first noticed it was dirty when washing my hands outdoors and thought it might be due to the outdoor recycled water system. But then I saw the water in our room – visibly dirty. The staff said the pipes were broken and told us to let the water run for a while. Even after running it for half an hour, it was still dirty. We absolutely dared not brush our teeth or wash our faces with it.
3. I called the front desk a day in advance to request a bed rail. Upon arrival, I messaged them again via WeChat to remind them about combining beds and two rails. Yet, nothing was set up even by bedtime. On the flip side, the shuttle bus was pretty prompt.
4. The restaurant inside, Yunhe, was truly terrible. I can accept that they only offer set menus, but almost every dish seemed to be just reheated. My friend passed by the kitchen and said all they saw were microwaves, except for the stir-fried seasonal vegetables and scrambled eggs, which, because we arrived late, were freshly prepared. Everything else must have been pre-made and reheated.
We paid 658 for the room on a Saturday, but it's only worth 358, not a penny more.
BBaidashubeiLocation: Right next to the scenic area, only a three to five-minute walk to the West Xizha scenic area entrance. It's on a street but not noisy at night, maybe because it's the off-season, which is quite convenient.
Facilities: Overall very good. This time, the toilet seat was crooked, and the kettle had limescale. I hope these improvements are made before the peak season.
Service: Good, but I still hope that daily room cleaning includes changing and providing a full set of toiletries, not just two sets of toothbrushes.
Hanfu Experience (1 set): I didn't actually try it, but I did go to the Hanfu shop. The owner adds a lot to the hotel's appeal. From the introduction, there are no hidden upsells. If you don't choose paid activities, you can still experience it for free.
Overall, it's good, I recommend staying here!

Very Good
GGuest UserThe room's location is excellent, very close to Wuzhen Xizha Scenic Area. It only takes about 10 minutes to walk there. Plus, there are plenty of dining options and shops downstairs, which is super convenient. It's not far from Xizha, Dongzha, and Nanzha either, making it very accessible. As for the room itself, the decor and ambiance are great, and it's very clean. If I get the chance to visit again, I'd definitely stay here. We had a slight issue with the room during our stay, but the guesthouse owner was incredibly generous and upgraded us immediately.

GGuest UserI stayed in Haiyan for two days on a business trip. Although it was cold outside, the room was warm, large and cozy. I arrived at the hotel very late at night, but the beautiful woman at the front desk was very enthusiastic and told me to have breakfast on the first floor because I was very tired after a long day of driving. , so I took a hot bath and went to sleep. I was a little too familiar with the bed and was afraid of insomnia. Unexpectedly, I woke up at almost 8 o'clock. Oh my God, the bed is so comfortable. In the morning, I found that there was body lotion in the room. This is so considerate. I quickly used it. It is silky and smooth. The fragrance is still good. The breakfast is also very rich. I like to eat the freshly wrapped wontons with seaweed soup. After eating, the security guard who collected the breakfast ticket will also say... I smiled and nodded. The service quality is excellent. I will stay at this hotel again if I have the opportunity to travel on business in the future!
