📍Wuzhen Scenic Area A highly recommended hotel! It's super convenient, just a 2-minute drive from the West Scenic Zone, and they offer a very thoughtful shuttle service. The dining is a major highlight; it's not your typical buffet. Instead, they prepare authentic local specialties tailored to your preferences. Then there's the ambiance and culture: the unique portrait of 'Zaki Lamu, the ******* Goddess of Wealth' is a must-take photo op! Many small items in the hotel, from the raw materials to the DIY designed furniture and ornaments, are personally selected and crafted by the owner. Plus, there's a really impressive sound system. The rocking horse is a big hit with the kids, and the treasure-filled 4th floor has an art studio that's quite an eye-opener. Each room has different furniture, and the beds are all made from antique boat wood, giving each room a unique style. Some small decorations in the rooms are also DIY. It's not quite a guesthouse but not quite a club, and definitely not a club but not quite a guesthouse – truly one-of-a-kind and highly recommended!

On a weekend trip, I booked the Muyue Hotel, which is close to Xitang Ancient Town. Although it's not a large hotel, it's clean, elegant, and the service is warm and attentive. The lake-view room offered a truly delightful sight and is highly recommended. Also, the lady at the front desk was very helpful and thoughtful; she can assist guests in accessing the ancient town's South Gate directly through the hotel's side entrance. From there, you can enjoy the江南 (Jiangnan) style garden and lake views all the way to the main scenic area, the Yanyu Corridor. It’s perfect for a leisurely stroll to take in the sights and colors of Xitang Ancient Town. I highly recommend staying at Muyue Hotel.

May be the best place to stay while visiting XITANG ancient water town, CITANG town itself is so beautiful so pairing with this hotel may be the greatest plan you’ll enjoy. 1 minute walk to the entrance gate which means everything is at your door steps. Room is super nice and extra big. From checking in to out, everything was perfectly smooth. Breakfast was good and fair. Only some negative situations ( for me ) GYM and LAUNDRY ROOMS can’t be used at late night, just only operating from 0800 to 2100, so if your in a rush…it’s impossible May be the best hotel in XITANG ancient town OH, it’s CHINA so just remember even you book NON SMOKING ROOM, you can get the smell every where

I arrived around noon. There was a staff member at the entrance who helped with parking. As soon as I entered the lobby, I noticed a very pleasant scent, and the elevator also smelled nice. The front desk attendant gave me a toiletry bag. After checking into the room, I took a quick look around. Although the room wasn't large, it was quite clean and had a small fridge, which is perfect for keeping drinks cold in hot weather. The only minor issue was that the shower hose kept getting tangled, making me think the water pressure was low, but unscrewing and reattaching it fixed it. I really appreciate that when you order takeout and input your room number, a staff member brings it up to you. The hotel is directly across from the entrance to Xizha Scenic Area, and there are many small shops and restaurants nearby.

Facilities: A bit dated. Cleanliness: Though old, it's clean. Ambiance: The environment is great, mainly because the hotel's location is excellent. Service: Very attentive; they help bring luggage to the room. The front desk staff (a young man) is very patient and answers all questions, and they even help call a taxi when you leave.

I brought my elderly parents to Xitang for Women's Day, and a friend recommended this hotel inside the scenic area. It truly has a beautiful Chinese garden design, with winding paths that create a wonderful sense of seclusion. We stayed in a balcony room, which even had a swing chair. It was incredibly pleasant to swing and chat with my family as the sun set. The room's wet/dry separation design was very practical, and the room service was exceptionally attentive. It was also very convenient to walk into the core scenic area. We had a panoramic view of Xitang bathed in sunshine and later, illuminated by fishing boats and lights. Watching people in traditional Hanfu attire wander through the scenic area felt like traveling a thousand years back in time, perfectly embodying the creative concept behind the 'Guangnian' (Lightyear) Hotel name!

Komori service is very good, basically responsive, on call. Then the environment is really good, greening, amusement facilities are perfect. Because the first time I went there was no experience, I arrived at night. Although it was open during the day, I could play at will because of the hotel at night. So I went to explore at night, it was amazing, there were many slides, jungle flying people (I don't know if it was called this name), and the net bed above the jungle was jumping and exploring. That was the most exciting. Adults and children were very happy. The house is not cleaned well. I stayed for two nights. When the house was cleaned, we said whether the sheets could be changed and the room was cleaned. The aunt immediately said that we did not change the sheets (I don’t know if I didn’t even change the sheets), and then when I came back, I found that the paper was not changed. The dental toiletries were not changed, and then even the room was not cleaned, and there was a lot of sand. The breakfast was great, the variety was varied and unlimited, and the taste was very good!

Traveling with my daughter, we booked two nights at a Wuzhen Xizha B&B, specifically building 29, room 2290, which was a waterside room with a balcony and a 1.5m bed. Breakfast was a set menu: you could choose between noodle soup, wontons, or fried rice, and it also included fruit, pastries, eggs, bacon, and pickles. For lunch and dinner, you could order à la carte. The owner's wife recommended the spicy stir-fried chicken, which was absolutely delicious and great with rice. Service: The owners are very nice and incredibly helpful, always patient with all our questions. Environment: It's an old house with wooden doors on the balcony, which also has a screen door. There's a chaise lounge on the balcony, and enjoying the night view from there is just beautiful.

1. Location - Very convenient and near the old city, dining is within 5-10 minutes walk, the bus to Hangzhou is also near, the entrance to Wuzhen scenic area is very near. 2. Room - the toilet smell of urine and I wanted to wash the smell away but there was no waste hole. Probably the housekeeper just mopped the toilet. The next day the smell cleared. AirCon is good especially on a very warm and humid day. 3. Front desk - helpful on directions and advise on buying entrance tickets, tips, and also how to buy the bus ticket to Hangzhou.

Facilities: The lobby is quite large, with a gym and underground parking lot. The large nozzle of the shower room is not sealed, and water will be sprayed at the thread junction on the top. Hygiene: Hygiene is OK, but there is a lot of dust on the phone, and there is mold on the wall under the table. Environment: The environment is unified, that is, there is not much to eat nearby, you need to drive out or walk a few kilometers. However, there is also a Chinese restaurant on the second floor of the hotel. Service: Front desk service is OK. Holidays are a bit busy. Breakfast: OK. The sea viewing room type is a bit less effective than the floor-to-ceiling windows in the imagination. Overall it's OK.
