Jiaxing Hotels with Balcony

This hotel truly lives up to its reputation as the best in Zhejiang's ancient towns. While the entrance isn't grand, it holds a charming secret within. The hotel boasts an inner courtyard with a covered bridge, and from my window, I could gaze upon a picturesque scene of small bridges, flowing water, and lotus ponds. The intricate eaves, carved windows, stacked tiles, and dark walls perfectly encapsulate the ambiance of a Jiangnan village, especially when strolling through the alleys in a light drizzle. This hotel provided me with the most beautiful ancient town experience. The room was spacious and well-appointed. The welcome fruit wasn't just a couple of apples and cherry tomatoes; it was a selection of premium fruits. The bedding felt like high-end sateen cotton, though I'm no expert, I could tell it was of excellent quality. There were even multiple pillow options. The room was spotlessly clean, which is a huge plus for me as I'm a bit of a clean freak and have high standards for hygiene – this place passed with flying colors. Breakfast needed to be reserved a day in advance. While the variety wasn't extensive, every dish was exquisite and catered to both Chinese and Western tastes. The personalized butler service was excellent; Grace was available 24/7, ready to assist with any questions I had, both inside and outside the hotel. The hotel's location is right in the middle of Wuzhen's West Scenic Zone (Xizha). Although it's on a street, it offers a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle. I highly recommend this place.

Service: The hotel's service is truly five-star. We were greeted by a staff member named Qingguo, who patiently escorted us from the parking lot back to the hotel and then thoroughly explained various touring strategies for Wuzhen. Environment: The hotel rooms are very spacious, and the hotel's gardens and pavilions are perfect for photos, so you don't have to go out and deal with crowds. Dining: For breakfast, the hotel offers two dining options, and we chose the one at 'Siyi'. The breakfast here is quite exquisite, what we'd call 'pretty food.' The interior environment is also very photogenic, so you can easily snap some pictures after your meal.

A Wonderful and Peaceful Stay in the Heart of Wuzhen The hotel is located inside the Wuzhen resort, right in the middle of the main walking street, making it very convenient for exploring the area. Despite its central location, the hotel is set within a fairly large compound, and our second-floor room was charming, peaceful and very quiet. Our room was exceptionally spacious, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We were assigned a personal assistant, Xiaojing (小静), who was extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We connected with her through WeChat, so we could contact her anytime with questions about the hotel or arrangements within the resort. She took excellent care of us from the moment we arrived until our departure. Breakfast was also excellent, with a choice of three different set menus. We especially loved the fish noodles! The luggage porter service was extremely convenient too—we simply left our luggage with the staff, and it was transported through the resort and delivered directly to our room. Overall, we had a wonderful and highly satisfying stay. We would gladly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Wuzhen. Title: A cozy artistic inn, rooms so perfect they're like something out of a painting Text: I stayed at TongAn Inn for a few days, and my overall experience was fantastic. The biggest highlight of the inn is its artistic space – the entire area is tastefully decorated, making you feel very relaxed, just like being at home. But what surprised me most was the room. Honestly, I've only ever seen such perfect rooms in pictures. Clean, comfortable, and every detail meticulously arranged. I had a wonderfully happy stay; it was simply impeccable. Breakfast also left me very satisfied. While the variety wasn't extensive, it was more European-style, and the condiments were served separately, allowing you to add them to your taste – unlike street food where a whole bunch is just sprinkled on directly. For a foreign tourist like me, who can't eat too much spicy food, this was a very thoughtful touch. A special thank you goes to Ms. Qian Wei at the front desk. She was incredibly warm and patient, helping me resolve various small issues during my stay, which made me, a foreign tourist, feel particularly welcome. Although there was a language barrier, her smile and service attitude left a lasting impression on me. If you're coming to this city and looking for a unique place to stay that isn't run-of-the-mill, I highly recommend TongAn Inn. I wish the inn thriving business and Qian Wei all the best in her work!

Superb! The service was excellent, and the breakfast had a great variety. The hotel is also centrally located, making it convenient to get everywhere. I'd definitely choose this place again on my next visit. Traveling with my family, we even got a room upgrade during check-in, which allowed all three rooms to be in the same building. It was perfect! The only minor downside is that light sleepers might find the air conditioning a bit noisy.

I booked the Five Lakes Riverside Balcony Room with Main Channel View and Bathroom at Regalia Riverside for Dec 30 and 31, 2025. The room looks exactly as it does in the photos. The balcony has plug ins, teapot, teacups and tea prepared for you. Across the balcony, you can see the famous bridge and the boat station. You can also see up and down the channel. Room size is good for 2 persons. In the room is a heater/AC which worked perfectly and Ms. Sun also kindly turned on the heater since she knew my arrival time. The room has a kettle but no cups, coffee. Luckily I had brought my own. Also, know that the hotel does not provide breakfast - not a problem for me but for those we eat breakfast, just step outside. Location is perfect, it's in the heart of ancient town so easy to walk everywhere. Outside your door is snack street and at the end of the street is a ”food court”. Despite it's central location and opposite of the boat station, the noise was manageable. When I closed the balcony doors, I didn't hear anything (maybe too cold for people to loiter around?). Everyone was very nice and kind. Ms. Sun went out of her way to help me with my return bus ticket to Hangzhou, giving me directions on how to arrive at the hotel/meeting point where she waited for me, and her colleague even walked and waited for my car when I departed for Hangzhou. Going from Hangzhou to Xitang was an adventure as I read many different versions and my hotel told me another in my research. All in all, i highly recommend Regalia and Xitang! This time, I stayed in a guesthouse within the Wuzhen Scenic Area, and overall, I was very satisfied with the experience! The room rate already included scenic area tickets, luggage transfer, and a morning tea experience. If you don't want the morning tea experience, you can also choose the breakfast prepared by the guesthouse; it's either one or the other. We stayed in Room 57, a twin room by the water. Its location is pretty central in the scenic area, making it convenient to get anywhere without having to walk a long way to reach the other end of the area. The room overlooks the water, and the river view is absolutely stunning! It's very pleasant to stroll around the room's vicinity in the morning and evening. The room itself was also good; the bedding was comfortable, it came with a mosquito net, and all basic amenities were provided. The host was very nice and friendly. On the day of check-out, we were in a hurry and didn't have time to arrange for luggage transfer. The host even helped us call a car and carry our luggage to the waiting area, which was truly thoughtful. Regarding soundproofing, we did encounter noisy guests in the adjacent room at night. However, most guesthouses within the Wuzhen Scenic Area are converted from old buildings, so their age means limited sound insulation. This is actually a common issue that's hard to avoid in scenic area guesthouses. If there's a situation affecting your rest, the host mentioned that you can directly call the main front desk to file a complaint. Overall, the biggest advantage of staying inside the scenic area is not having to rush. You can take your time to walk around, explore, and experience the atmosphere of Wuzhen at different times of the day. We stayed for one night and were very satisfied overall, especially with the location of Building 57 and its riverside view, which were definite plusses.

Facilities: The room is very good, very suitable for couples to take photos, and the view of the small bridge opposite is great! Hygiene: The room hygiene is very good, nothing to fault Service: The boss picked us up from Xizha in the evening and helped us pick up our luggage at noon and deliver our luggage the next day. He was really considerate! The service is very attentive!

My two-day, one-night stay at Jiaxing Kaisen Tribe was like a miserable summer camp. On our first day at the hotel, we went to the indoor amusement park, and even hotel guests were charged 30 yuan per person – a practice I've never seen in other hotels. The air conditioning in the amusement park wasn't even fully operational in such hot weather. The kids were stuffy and hot inside, and even after I told the staff three times, they kept saying it would cool down soon. Then I realized this was just the beginning. The hotel rooms were consistently stuffy, and the air conditioning only started working after dark. Other parts of the amusement park, such as the Starry Sky Auditorium, Yunhe Restaurant, and the breakfast restaurant, were like this – only one air conditioner was running in a row. No matter where you went, it was unbearably hot. Are you trying to save electricity, or are you just torturing your guests? How can you charge so much money with the air conditioning running at such a low level in this heat? I've never seen a room cooler outside than inside during the hottest days of summer. Even though the room was supposed to be cleaned, the windowsill was covered in mosquitoes, the faucets were rusty, the toilet water was pale yellow, and there were even door handle stickers left by previous guests on the doorknobs. Secondly, I have to complain about the indoor amusement park, carousel, and mini-train. The hottest part of summer is the afternoon, and even the indoor amusement park closes at 6 PM. This means that after dinner, there's nowhere else to go for entertainment within the hotel. It's truly an unprecedented hotel experience. Finally, the only thing worth praising is the staff. Almost everyone was very friendly, enthusiastic, and hardworking. I hope everyone can enjoy their summer at the hotel, not suffer.

For this price and location, cannot complain. Was quite content. Great location, rooms clean enough. It’s a family run property in an old town and old building, so please do not expect 5-star service.
