Our stay here was made so wonderful by the guesthouse owner! The day we were checking out, right after we'd finished packing, the owner called to ask if we needed a car service to the airport. That thoughtful gesture really touched us! They were so friendly and straightforward, like an old friend, and helped us with anything we needed right away, making us feel completely at ease. The room itself was a pleasant surprise too – absolutely no strange odors upon entering, the bedding was sparkling white, and even the corners of the bathroom were spotless. As someone who pays attention to details, I felt completely reassured! Staying here felt just like coming home, so comfortable and secure. Next time I'm in this area, this will definitely be my first choice! 😊

The owner is an ex-serviceman who arranged everything for us, from food to accommodation and transportation, perfectly from the moment we arrived in Wuzhen. He even organized our transfers from Suzhou to Wuzhen and from Wuzhen to Hangzhou, which were cheaper than taking a taxi ourselves. He made sure to arrange a very comfortable car because we had elderly people with us. When you're in Wuzhen, just ask the owner about places to eat and getting around, and you'll be all set. His own restaurant serves delicious, freshly made dishes – no pre-cooked meals. He even gave us a souvenir when we checked out. I will definitely recommend this guesthouse to my friends; the owner's service is absolutely top-notch! 👍👍👍

The location is fantastic, just a 10-15 minute stroll from Dongzha, Xizha, and Nanzha. The surrounding area is bustling with plenty of restaurants, breakfast spots, coffee shops, pharmacies, small supermarkets, and even massage spas – really convenient! The hotel reception also offers free stamps of Wuzhen attractions, which is a nice touch. To be honest, I'd never stayed in a guesthouse before, having only experienced 2-5 star hotels for business and leisure. Given that I have no guesthouse comparisons, and considering the price of just over a hundred yuan a night, here’s my review: First, soundproofing: The sound insulation between rooms and between the hallway and rooms is comparable to a standard hotel. Occasionally, I'd hear cars passing outside, but it wasn't overly noisy or disturbing. Cleanliness: The bedding was very clean, and as someone with sensitive skin, I had no issues during my three-night stay. The bathroom was also good, even providing disposable toilet seat covers, which is more comprehensive than most hotels! Service attitude: Overall, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Daily cleaning was prompt. Knowing I was from the north, they reminded me to turn on the air conditioning upon entering the room, but early spring in Jiangnan was surprisingly cold, so I ended up asking for a second duvet on the second day. Facilities: While it's only a bit over a hundred yuan a night, and considering the accommodation quality, I shouldn't really nitpick, but I do want to mention one minor drawback: there was no place to hang clothes in the bathroom. 😥

I originally only planned to stay in Wuzhen for one day, but this tatami room with its floor-to-ceiling windows offering views of green trees, blue skies, white clouds, flowers, and birds flying by was so soothing that I stayed for two days straight. I really want to bring this window and the beautiful view home with me.

The breakfast has a rich variety and the local snacks are eye-catching. The location is also excellent, with surrounding attractions and food streets within walking distance. For this price and location, cannot complain. Was quite content. Great location, rooms clean enough. It’s a family run property in an old town and old building, so please do not expect 5-star service.
