Great
AAnonymous UserThe best hostel for solo travellers. I was a bit hesitant at first given that the only available room was the mixed dorm. However, the room is clean, quiet, enough space for luggages. I think the best thing I noticed is the cleanliness and the travellers who were checking in because they are all well-mannered. It was a bummer that it was fully booked on my last day on Sydney. I transferred to a different hostel across the street and just massive comparison.
Can bring big luggage here, there is a lift!!!

TTraveler …Looking for an unforgettable stay in Sydney? Look no further! I recently had the pleasure of staying at a fantastic hostel that offers the perfect combination of convenience and comfort, right near Sydney's top attractions.
This hostel boasts an unbeatable location, placing you within walking distance of iconic landmarks such as the Sydney Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge. Exploring these renowned sites and immersing yourself in the city's vibrant atmosphere has never been easier.
GGuest UserSuper location and nice reception. Something bright, I was wake up at 3 o'clock by a washing machine or similar. Unfortunately we had our room (giant column under the door) at the entrance to the kitchen, so we heard everything & smell. Otherwise super sweet room :) for 1-2 nights 👍

GGuest UserI was lucky enough to have my room ready in advance, before 2PM and since my flight arrived early in the morning, that was really nice !
Cathy was also a wonderful person in general, throughout my stay.
The room is pretty big, with a sink and a fridge. 👌🏻
The room I had is next to the common area however people weren't too loud, especially in the evening despite it roughly being the dinner time so that was nice.
The area is very chill, a few schools and houses around so not loud at night. It is, however, situated on the planes' route and they are pretty low in the sky since it gets close to the airport. But there aren't any at night (around midnight until 6AM I would say) and it's not every 5 minutes either.
The sun set pretty early at that time of the year and to me, I felt like the neighborhood lacked lights for people to walk around but it wasn't much of a bother and not something the lodge can change, so just a heads-up to have a small light/enough battery on the phone to use when coming back from your day trip activities.
GGuest UserStaff were all absolutely fantastic; couldn’t have been any more accommodating.
The new Thai window food area had just opened and was delicious and very reasonably priced.
The room was great, with a super comfy bed.
I had a bit of trouble with the lock system on my door, but nothing that wasn’t fixed asap.
There were plumbing problems while I was there.
TTina FeThe hotel is situated close to olympic park. great if you opt to attend a concert and avoid the crowd. Our room is clean and has free toiletries, large bath towels, free tea and coffee, milk was at room temp ( not inside the fridge) we didn't bother using it as milk outside the fridge is concerning for us. The room ac is extremely noisy. It got a weird sound every 10-15 mins. The room given near the highway and above a late night pub, expect the noise, pls bring earplugs, and hair dryer, slippers and robe as we choose a shared bath for our room type. Not sure if there is a private suite. The shared bathroom only consists of 1 toilet and 1 bath for women. My partner also says it is the same layout for the men. Expect that there are some waiting during rush hours. Not sure how many rooms are shared for the amenities.
GGuest UserCleanliness is very important to all the hotels and accommodation. because it can cause diseases. Dust comming from the fan and air-conditioning when it's running. I show cockroaches coming through the gaps on the walls. Specially the noise from the doors and air-conditioning need to be replaced. But although I realised this is how we all end it up if we after economy room. Management is very friendly but need more attention of cleanliness and maybe it's time to do renovations.
Thanks
LLeticiaI really liked the location (literally next to Kings Cross station) & there are lots of places to eat & supermarkets on the street. You can walk easily to town or take the train.
Beds are a bit squeaky, but comfy.
Recommendations: bathrooms should be thoroughly or professionally cleaned & they should put signs up for quiet time after 22h, as people talk on the corridord late at night.
EEelspowerAverage overall stay with basic service in a handy location. Cheap price for a cheap location. Recommended for solo backpackers for an affordable stay.
