Amazing
TTTWWSWow, what can I say? This hotel was absolutely amazing from the service from the Geo with a warm welcome and our luggage taken away from us at the door to the personalised service that we received at check-in. Walking in the rooms are simply amazing being so elegantly furnished and so clean and spacious. The bathroom had all the amenities you could even imagine and you could easily get stuff and order through the iPad. Their indoor pool and Jim is simply amazing and includes a spa with massage function and there’s also a specialty shower room and sauna room. The breakfast buffet was also a very high standard and you can order à la carte items which were very delicious. There was also a lounge room which is similar to an executive lounge open to all hotel gas and (Office) complimentary tea and alcohol drinks too. I’m definitely return to stay at this hotel and it is absolutely amazing. Thank you very much, Capella Sydney.

Great
Ppoem.Everything was excellent, as always. The staff member was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the Friday night party was a blast! I got to meet lots of new people and hope everyone else has as much fun here too.
AAxiguqingfengReally good place! They have a shared kitchen, which is great because cooking your own meals in Australia is cheaper and healthier than eating out. The bathrooms are shared, and they offer luggage storage. The management is strict, ensuring a clean and safe environment. Overall, a great experience, and its proximity to the Central Station makes getting around very convenient.
AAnonymous UserThis is an unbeatable choice for a family trip. The room layout is excellent, with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, very convenient for a family of four. The room amenities are perfect: a washer-dryer combo, plenty of hangers, an oven, a microwave, and a full set of pots, pans, spatulas, cutting boards, and a dishwasher. They even provided Vitamin C! The hotel lobby has many board games, a coffee machine, and tea, making it a great place for kids to relax and have fun while waiting. The location is also ideal, about 800m from a large supermarket where you can buy fruits and other groceries. It's also a walkable 1.1km to the Cathedral, Hyde Park, the Australian Museum, and more, which is quite acceptable. Since it was Christmas, the hotel even gave us candies and socks, which was a very sweet gesture. If I ever come back to Sydney, I will definitely choose this place again.
GGuest UserOn the first day, I booked a double room, and on the second day, I booked a quadruple room.
On the second day, I realized that I had left an item in the double room, so I went to the front desk to ask whether it had been found.
Due to some communication difficulties, we decided to use a translation app to communicate.
The female staff member who initially assisted me was very kind, patient, and professional, and the communication was going well.
However, a male staff member suddenly joined the conversation and asked again about my situation in English. He then stated that he could not understand my English, which was confusing, as the female staff member clearly understood me without any issue.
In front of me, he said to his colleague,
“Guys, we are speaking English,” which was clearly directed at me and made me feel uncomfortable.
He then continued speaking in what he considered “fluent” English, repeatedly telling me that my item had not been found.
At that moment, I simply wanted to confirm whether I should return to the front desk the next day to check again.
Unfortunately, the male staff member responded with an extremely impatient and unfriendly tone, which made me feel disrespected and uncomfortable.
This hotel is located in the city center, and I assume it receives many international guests whose first language is not English. I would like to ask whether this is the standard service attitude provided to all non-native English speakers.
If your hotel does not welcome guests who are not native English speakers, please clearly state this on booking platforms.
Additionally, please do not claim that the front desk provides multilingual service, as no such service was actually provided during this experience.

Very Good
NNuannuandexiatiantianThe corner room was very spacious and comfortable for a family stay. There's also a small balcony. The kitchen is well-equipped with coffee and tea provided. The minibar is chargeable, and there are no toothbrushes or slippers. The only 'bug' was that the third bed in the triple room was in the living room and had a glass door that let in all the light, so we were woken up by the brightness early in the morning.
CchenqiThe hotel is an established five-star property with an excellent location, and the front desk staff were very friendly. However, the elevators were a major issue. One of the three was out of service for maintenance, and the remaining two were incredibly slow, especially during the day. Waiting for an elevator often took around 15 minutes, which is a significant waste of valuable time. For this reason, I cannot recommend it.

GGuest UserThe front desk staff were incredibly welcoming, the housekeeping staff were very kind, and the breakfast servers were also wonderfully friendly, truly making me feel right at home. I really enjoyed the traditional Western breakfast. The location is also super convenient, just a short walk to the train station. Plus, there's a large shopping mall nearby with a supermarket on its B1 level, perfect for all your daily needs.

AAnonymous UserVery nice view from our room widows. There are full of different types restaurants on the ground floor. But If you close the window, the sound proof is excellent which I typically want to recommend.
Stuffs are friendly and helpful, willing to give you recommendations if you are first-time visitors. They even wrote a welcome card.
They have a ballroom here just opposite the reception, holding different personal events every night. I like the vibe which means it's popular place and safe.
The hotel is friendly to those who travel with dogs. They have special bed and food for dogs. But we didn't need it and the dog net door barked very early in the morning. We were OK with it.
At the other aspect, the hotel goes too much.
The breakfast is allllll for vegetarians.
Yes, all.
As a guest, you are left with no choice.
This is the only point that I particularly hate. Be whatever you like, just don't push others to do the something, especially when you are running a business.

GGuest UserOK for one night.
The hotel is above the pub, which is also very busy in the afternoon.
There is also live music there on Sundays until around 9 p.m.
Everything is perfectly fine, unless you have room 10 next to the washing machine/dryer and sleep next to the ventilation. Even though drying and washing is not allowed after 9 p.m., it was very annoying.
The hotel rooms face the back, so in the morning you also have the noise from the loading area of the supermarket.
On the positive side, the room was in a modern condition and the staff were all very nice.
The beach is a ten-minute walk away.
