Amazing
GGuest UserMy first review on Trip and I don't usually bother to write reviews - shows you how much the hotel impressed me. We stayed for 1 night in Capella Sydney as a family of 3. The hotel facilities were absolutely amazing, decor was gorgeous and food options at Aperture and Brasserie were awesome. However, I won't dwell on these too much as I'm sure when you booked into a Capella brand hotel, you will already assume this as a given right? One highlight in terms of facilities though, was The Living Room, which is assessible to all guests staying in the hotel. It had beverages, snacks, comfy sofas and 6 star service. We spent so much time there chilling with our son and in the end it really became ”our living room”. Enough of that, let me move on to the service which blew our minds. I'll give you a few examples and hopefully you can see why I feel it would be criminal for me not to write a review. 1. On arrival when we got out of our car and the porters were helping us with our luggage, somehow they addressed me by name. Maybe it's because they saw I had a 2 year old and I was the only guest checking in that day with a small child. Still, I was super impressed. I've only experienced this previously at Aman hotels. 2. Upon checking in, Sophie (I hope I got your name right!) was super helpful and cheerful. When she saw my young son, she also proactively asked if we needed a later check out and if our son needed to nap. She immediately offered to give us 2pm late check out. However, having told her our son actually takes his nap at 2pm, she told us to come back and check with the front desk the next day and they can extend it till 4pm. Remember, I didn't request this, she did this completely out of her own initiative. 3. We didn't book dinner and Sophie referred us to Madiha of the Cultural team. Madiha took note of all our requirements, including the need for the restaurant to be 2 year old friendly, and within 15 mins emailed me a full list of restaurants and their menus for me to choose from while she also served us drinks and snacks at the living room. We eventually picked an Italian restaurant and she made the reservation for us. Fyi, it was scrumptious. 4. After breakfast, we were walking around the lobby and my son walked past the cakeshop and saw a raspberry tart. He really wanted it but I told him we just had breakfast. Ton (?)(I hope I got your name right, the Thai gentleman with a love for cars), the manager came up and said ”you can have the tart for free! It's on the house!”. I was stunned. He also spent so much time talking to my son and showing him pictures of cars, unbelievable. Shout out also to Matthew (uncle Hao Jun) for being so warm and hospitable to us. Honestly we were feeling so sad leaving the hotel as everyone felt like friends and family to us. One thing is for sure though, we will be back. Absolutely flawless service, kudos to the Capella Sydney team!

RRyan ThenGreat accommodation with great location! Clean room and facilities and can get to meet a lot of people. Remember to bring your own toiletries and towel as it won’t be provided. And also a pad lock in order to use the temporary locker before you check in/ after you check out so you can explore the city freely!

GGuest UserW Sydney is the best hotel among the all I have visited in Australia so far. Almost everything is perfect, food, services, location, facilities, swimming pools, all of them! If I have to pick one thing which is not excellent, is that the previous customer left some finger prints on the TV that wasn't being and some dust in air you can see while turning on the lights in the walk-in.  Otherwise, best in the best!

RRAHMAH MD SAIDHotel well located, walkable to Haymarket, Town Hall and Darling Harbour area. Tram was nearby as well so was able to explore further. Parking was availability with a fee and connected directly to the lobby. Driving out of the city area was quiet uncomplicated and relatively easy. Room was comfortable. However being a weekend noise level from nearby cafe/club was quite loud. Halal food was easily available from reasonable number of cafes/restaurants within walking distance. Some confusion with my rooms payment. Despite being prepaid earlier my credit card was charged again. Thankfully I noticed it whilst we were still around and got refunded.

1108957****The hotel lobby isn't very conspicuous, but the rooms are spacious and come with a small kitchen and utensils. It's a six-story building, and the cleanliness is quite good, with the air conditioning keeping the room nice and cool. The location is excellent; you can walk to QVB, Darling Harbour, Chinatown, Hyde Park, and the Royal Botanic Garden in 5-15 minutes. March is late summer in Australia, so Sydney was a bit warm, but the sky was wonderfully blue.

GGuest UserIn short, Pullman Hyde Park Sydney is a great hotel with a gym and pool that offer good views. The rooms are clean, and the location is perfect for accessing all the famous tourist spots. We stayed for 5 nights at Pullman Hyde Park Sydney in mid-May. We arrived at the hotel around 10 AM, which was earlier than the scheduled check-in time. We requested an early check-in at the concierge; however, we were informed that no rooms were available until 1 PM. This was understandable, given our early arrival. While waiting, we appreciated the water dispenser and snacks available for guests. One downside was that the hotel had only three lifts, which were insufficient for the number of guests. One lift even broke down, and the other two were quite slow. We booked a Superior King Room with a Hyde Park view, which was lovely. The room was clean, with no odors or stains. However, our first room was missing disposable slippers and had a broken phone. The staff quickly sent a technician and arranged for us to move to a higher floor with a functioning phone. They were responsive, but we had to move our luggage ourselves, as they were unable to assist with that. (It was around 6pm so they may be short-staffed at that moment.) We spent some time at the gym, but unfortunately, the drinking water ran out around 6 PM. We called the concierge to have it replenished, but no one arrived by the time we left. The pool was decent, and there was also a jacuzzi. However, the jacuzzi was located right next to the gym and in front of the glass entrance, so anyone coming out of the elevator could see you enjoying it, which may or may not be a concern for some guests. A highlight was running on the treadmill while enjoying the stunning sunset over the city skyline—it was spectacular. The location was fantastic! The major bus stops were just a 6-minute walk away, providing easy access to Bondi Beach, Central Station, and Darling Harbour .etc. It was also only a 15-20 minute walk to the harbour, which made exploring the area very convenient. Overall, while I believe there are cheaper options with similar location advantages, the cleanliness at Pullman Hyde Park was notably better than those alternatives.

GGuest UserThe hotel is unique and was renovated from a pier. The location is quite convenient. At the seventh stop of Bigbus, walk about 500 meters to the NSW Art Gallery, and then walk about 500 meters to St. Mary's Church and Hyde Park, and walk about 200 meters to the Sydney Museum. It is about 500 meters from St. Mary's Church to David Jones Shopping Center. It is about one kilometer to the Opera House and the Rocks. It is very suitable for city walks, but not as noisy as the central area.

GGuest UserThe front desk staff were incredibly welcoming, the housekeeping staff were very kind, and the breakfast servers were also wonderfully friendly, truly making me feel right at home. I really enjoyed the traditional Western breakfast. The location is also super convenient, just a short walk to the train station. Plus, there's a large shopping mall nearby with a supermarket on its B1 level, perfect for all your daily needs.

GGuest UserOK for one night. The hotel is above the pub, which is also very busy in the afternoon. There is also live music there on Sundays until around 9 p.m. Everything is perfectly fine, unless you have room 10 next to the washing machine/dryer and sleep next to the ventilation. Even though drying and washing is not allowed after 9 p.m., it was very annoying. The hotel rooms face the back, so in the morning you also have the noise from the loading area of the supermarket. On the positive side, the room was in a modern condition and the staff were all very nice. The beach is a ten-minute walk away.
