Amazing
AAnonymous UserThe hotel's location is excellent, within walking distance to Circular Quay, the Sydney Opera House, Harbour Bridge, and the Royal Botanic Garden. The hotel itself is beautiful, but the room view was disappointing. We booked a 'Skyline King Room,' but there was no skyline visible at all; we just looked out onto old, dilapidated rooftops. The room also felt quite small.

Great
GGuest UserSuper convenient location, right next to Wynyard station, easy access and walkable distance to attractions. Beautiful hotel with helpful staff. Lovely rooftop lounge offering complimentary coffee/milk, the coffee machine has many options to select from. 24 hour gym. Clean rooms and high tech features. Although the room is a bit small but it workes for us.

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is fantastic, just a few minutes' walk to the Sydney Opera House and the Royal Botanic Garden. It's also super convenient for catching a ferry from the wharf.
The hotel's parking is actually at a Wilson Parking lot. We were told that booking overnight parking in advance through the Wilson app would be much cheaper; we didn't pre-book and it cost us 67 AUD for one night.
If you're driving, you can navigate directly to Wilson Parking - Sofitel Wentworth, Sydney CBD, NSW Car Park. The car park entrance is on Blight Street, just behind the hotel's main entrance.
When you arrive, you leave your keys with the Wilson staff and they'll park the car for you. You pay when you pick up the car, and they'll bring it back out to you.

GGuest UserLet's start with the positives:
- Location is perfect, 5min away from Circular Quay, 10min walk from the shopping area of Pitt street. Right in the city center.
- Staff is nice, giving small gift to our kid. Breakfast is also quite good.
- We were able to do an early check-in at 10am without surcharge, which was very nice after an overnight flight.
Now for the negatives:
- Room is small and basic for a 5 star hotel, shower room is very simple, you'd expect more for a premium brand like Mariott at a price of 500 AUD for a night.
- The harbor bridge view room is absolutely not worth it: you need to be at your window and looking on the right to see it. Completely useless. The real view is currently a construction site. Very disappointing.
- Cleaning is not done properly: there were still some crumbs on the floor after the room was cleaned, and worth, there were 3 pairs for previous guests slippers under the bed!
To conclude, it's not worth it. Next time I'll probably stay again at the Shangri-La for a similar pricing.
GGuest UserWe booked W sydney months in advance with breakfast included and is worth it . Food choices are plenty during breakfast and can order different eggs style and cooking preparation during breakfast and can order different hot or cooled selection of drinks as well. Hotel is clean and location is near china town ,paddys market , and harbour easily accessible to townhall in a walkable distance of 7-10 mins away. There is a fireworks show on saturday night that lasted 5-7minutes.. There are lots of restaurants around the area and ice cream shops as well . There is even a park at the back of the hotel and a playground for kids. I highly recommend this hotel. There is 2 pool in the hotel at 22nd floor and 29th floor . The hotel is beside Imax cinema .
BbluehairClose to the airport. I met two young people who had flown from Melbourne to Sydney, and walked over from Sydney's domestic terminal.
The room facilities are a bit dated, but it probably would have been considered a five-star hotel in the 90s. There's only one power outlet on one side of the bed. Some light switches aren't by the bedside, so you have to get out of bed to turn them off, like the hallway light.
The room is quiet. There's a hotel shuttle running all day between Sydney's three terminals. It costs 12 AUD per person. It takes about 20 minutes to reach T1, the furthest terminal. If there are many people, a taxi would be more cost-effective.
Breakfast is a simple Western style. For Chinese options, there's congee with pickled vegetables. The pickled vegetables were fermented bamboo shoots, similar to those found in Luosifen (river snail noodles), haha.

BbibigogogoFive stars to all the front desk and housekeeping staff!
As I'm writing this, I'm at the last stop of my Australia trip, and out of all the hotels I've stayed in, this Pullman has had the best service attitude, quality, and responsiveness. Every single front desk agent was super enthusiastic and patient. Also, I saw other reviews mentioning no slippers or toothbrushes, but they actually do have them – you just need to ask. There aren't any bottled water in the room, but there's an empty bottle, and you can simply go to the first floor to refill it.
The facilities are a bit dated, and the cleanliness is neither outstanding nor bad, just what you'd expect from a hotel of this caliber. The view of Hyde Park from the window is excellent, and it's a quiet oasis amidst the hustle and bustle, with easy walking access to all the attractions.

GGuest UserThe hotel ticks a lot of boxes, clean modern rooms, pool and steam room, and in the best location, very central over looking the beach. The hotel has just had a refurbishment, very tidy with a good bar and restaurant on the ground floor. Only slight negative, front dest - check in could be better and a bit more friendly.
If you want to stay in Manly, this hotel is your best choice, the other main hotel is way down at the end of the beach.
3300343****The front desk service was excellent, and the Singaporean staff at the bar and the Hong Kong staff at the concierge were incredibly helpful! The local concierge also assisted with restaurant reservations! It was a wonderful experience! The Korean staff at the front desk were also very helpful!
GGuest UserThe hotel is unique and was renovated from a pier.
The location is quite convenient. At the seventh stop of Bigbus, walk about 500 meters to the NSW Art Gallery, and then walk about 500 meters to St. Mary's Church and Hyde Park, and walk about 200 meters to the Sydney Museum. It is about 500 meters from St. Mary's Church to David Jones Shopping Center.
It is about one kilometer to the Opera House and the Rocks.
It is very suitable for city walks, but not as noisy as the central area.
