4-Star Hotels in Busan

I booked this place over a month in advance, and it has a lovely modern-retro vibe, very cozy. The shower and toilet are separate, and it even comes with a Dyson hairdryer. The room feels different from a typical hotel room. On the ground floor is a coffee shop owned by the same person, which closes at 9 PM. You can use your card to enter and exit through the side door. Upon check-in, you get two complimentary Americanos (you can swap them for other drinks by paying the difference). It's very convenient if you're visiting Yeongdo, though it's a bit far from Gwangalli and Haeundae. Little surprises: 1. Toothpaste, toothbrushes, shower caps, etc., are provided. 2. The mini-fridge drinks and snacks are free. 3. A handwritten note and a creative cultural souvenir are gifted. Amenities: Convenience store: Across from the coffee shop. Shopping: Nampo-dong Walking Street, Lotte Department Store, Olive Young, etc. (10-minute walk). Restaurants: Many dining options nearby, and the owner also provides recommendations – check the check-in guide. Minor regrets: 1. The bed frame has sharp corners, and due to its placement, it's easy to accidentally bump into it. You need to be mindful of your walking path. 2. The separate shower room has no place to put clothes. I booked Room 2 this time; I wonder if other room types have a better layout. This place is very relaxing, perfect for a two-day getaway to clear your mind. The owner is also very enthusiastic. Afterwards, you can switch to another hotel in Haeundae or Gwangalli to enjoy the sea, explore attractions, and go shopping.

Our twin room had plenty of space to move around, even with two large suitcases. The toilet and shower were in separate areas, and the vanity with a mirror served as a clever divider for the sleeping area. There were four mirror panels on the vanity, plus a large full-length mirror by the room entrance, so ladies won't have to worry about not having enough mirrors. The front desk staff was very friendly and even helped me when I couldn't find my ride-sharing car. Within a five to ten-minute walk downstairs, there are plenty of cafes and restaurants, as well as several convenience stores, which was super convenient!

The location is fantastic. It's just a few minutes' walk from the bus stop coming from Busan Airport, and the subway station is also a few minutes away on foot. Right downstairs is a bustling commercial and food street. The front desk staff were very friendly, and the room is spacious. The only minor issue is that sometimes you can hear singing from the street downstairs.

We stayed at this hotel during the BTS concert in Busan, and it was the most budget-friendly option for us. The room was very clean. The bed was comfortable, and the sheets were crisp (which made sleeping even more enjoyable). There's a cafeteria on the 1st floor where you can make instant noodles, grab coffee/water/tea, and they also provided tea and coffee sachets in the room. The room has a TV with Korean channels (something for everyone!) and streaming platforms (Netflix, Disney+, etc., but you'll need to use your own account as they're not paid for). We also liked the hotel's location. It's a 30-40 minute walk to Gwangalli Beach (we didn't try taking the bus).

We really enjoyed our stay here! The room looked exactly like the pictures and was clean and comfortable. The best part is that the beach is literally right in front of the hotel, and we had a really nice view of Songdo Beach and the Songdo Cable Car. There are also quite a few convenience stores nearby, which was really convenient. The location is pretty good if you want to stay somewhere close to Busan Station, although the area is a bit hilly. Just keep in mind that it’s quite far from places like Haeundae Blue Line Park and some other attractions. But getting around was still easy as buses and taxis are readily available. Overall, we had a good stay and really enjoyed the beach view. Would consider staying here again if we’re back in Busan!

The location of the apartment is quite good: it is within walking distance of the metro station and major bus stops, and the beach is also nearby. The bed was very comfortable, with excellent bed linen and a very pleasant duvet. Everything was very clean, and the room had a nice view with a partial view of the beach. The apartment was generally well equipped with appliances, and the fast Wi-Fi was another plus. I also really appreciated the heated floor. The staff were polite, helpful, and spoke good English. However, there were several small issues that affected the overall impression. The power button on the kettle was broken, so I had to reach inside the mechanism to switch it on. There was also a washing machine in the apartment, but guests were not allowed to use it. This was a significant downside for a longer stay. There was no hair conditioner, which I would normally expect in accommodation of this level. Also, the shampoo and shower gel smelled exactly the same, which made them feel like the same product. Another thing I did not like was the number of warning signs about fines, especially the penalties for not washing the dishes or sorting the rubbish properly. It made the atmosphere feel less welcoming than it could have been. One of the biggest disappointments was that the gym and swimming pool on the 38th floor were no longer available because this facility had been closed for the entire building. I understand that this was not the host’s fault, but I was not informed about it before check-in, and access to the gym and pool had been one of the main reasons I chose this apartment. There were also some surprising omissions in terms of basic kitchenware. There was no fork in the apartment, so I had to use a plastic fork from a nearby convenience store. There were also no proper cups or glasses only small plastic shot glasses, so I ended up drinking water from those, which felt quite strange. On the positive side, there was a water purifier in the room, which was very convenient. Overall, the apartment was clean, comfortable, well located, and had several strong advantages, but a number of small maintenance and communication issues prevented the stay from being as good as it could have been.

The hotel's front desk is on the third floor, accessible by elevator. The staff are very friendly and the service is excellent. Every day, the room comes with complimentary bottled water and coffee, and the room cleanliness is impeccable. The hotel is located right across from the sea, offering stunning sea views from the room's balcony. Downstairs, there's a bustling pedestrian street in the heart of Haidian District.

We stayed for 2 nights at this property with our family in August. This hotel located very close to the beach and it took us only a few mins of walk. The room was very spacious with two separate bedrooms, extra space for 4 big suitcases, little living room and kitchen was big enough but there were no utensils, cups or cooking pots. A couple convenient stores down the street saved us with breakfast. The room was not that clean but we got washer and dryer in the room which was super nice and convenient. The staffs were not that friendly at the front desk. It's a definitely budget-friendly hotel but I do not recommend for family.

This hotel is amazing. The harbor and city view was breathtaking. The room was really nice with a comfortable bed and nice bathroom with bathtub. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. They kept my bags before having access to the room and after check out. The location is nice. The nearest bus stop is 1 min away and underground station 8min away. The hotel is 2 stations away from Busan station. However, I’d recommend not charging for a toothbrush and toothpaste. Maybe give it at check in for those who would need them. I would definitely consider coming back to this hotel !

The hotel is already quiet old and need for renovation. The stuff was really well trained and polite. But the room was not such good. The toilet flush was weak, and it wasn't separated from the shower. The water in the shower was hot and the pressure was strong, but the drain was very poor and water accumulated, so I had to turn the shower down to the minimum setting to avoid flooding the room. The TV was hanging crooked on the wall, and I decided not to touch it because I was worried it might fall. The wallpaper and baseboards were heavily stained from splashes, and they themselves were already damaged. The hotel's greatest strengths are its location and its polite, well-trained, and friendly staff. However, it is in dire need of renovation.
