GGuest UserThe hotel's location is excellent, just a short walk to the subway station, making it super convenient to get anywhere. The room and overall cleanliness were also great. This was a truly memorable experience because I had an urgent situation and needed to cancel my booking, which was initially non-cancellable. However, the staff were incredibly understanding and humanized the situation, eventually agreeing to cancel and refund my money. I was very touched!

I usually don't write reviews, but I just can't hold back this time! I booked a room for 4 nights and had to switch rooms twice! On the first night, before going to bed, I discovered the window wouldn't close, and a cold draft was blowing in. The hotel maintenance came to fix it for an hour but couldn't. They said they'd move us to another room, but the front desk actually called us and told us to pack our bags, come downstairs, get a new key card, and move ourselves. This was after 10 PM, and there wasn't even an apology or any assistance offered. We ended up in a corner room, and they said the hotel was fully booked, so we had no choice but to accept it.
The second room change happened because my booking was split into two separate reservations. I communicated with the hotel at check-in and during my stay, asking if they could accommodate us so we wouldn't have to switch rooms, even offering to pay for an upgrade, but they refused, citing full occupancy. So, we had to check out before 11 AM, store our luggage, and then check in again after 3 PM.
Pros: The hotel is relatively new, and the location is convenient.
Cons:
1. Cleanliness is subpar; there were urine stains on the toilet.
2. Service is poor, practically non-existent, and they lack service awareness.
3. I was moved twice, staying in three different rooms, all of which were corner rooms. I had booked deluxe or superior room types, and I'm unsure if there's any particular reason for this.
Overall, my experience was very unsatisfactory.

YYanchaThe hotel's location is excellent, right next to Jagalchi Fish Market, just a one-minute walk away. It's about a 10-minute bus ride to Songdo Cable Car. Getting to Haeundae is quite far, costing around 20,000 Korean Won by taxi, or over an hour by public transport. A taxi to Busan KTX Station is about 7,000 Korean Won. The room was exceptionally clean and tidy, and they provided a full range of toiletries, including toothbrushes. The front desk service was excellent. Next door is a traditional Korean spa, and guests staying one night can get a free voucher from the front desk to use it. This Korean spa is similar to a large Japanese bathhouse in terms of facilities, but the overall atmosphere is different. It has several large pools and saunas. I only went once. The area around the hotel is a bit chaotic since it's next to a market. Overall, it's a very good hotel.

Ssophieoliver95The hostel was lovely lots of amenities for everyone but, the highlight for the stay was the staff. They were superb!
On my first night I was staying in a private room and I wasn’t too pleased based on the ladder as it was in an odd angle and very challenging to get down. The staff members including Grace, very sympathetic and understanding and helped me move into a cosy cabin during the rest of my stay.
Great price, fantastic service and hospitality. Worth every single penny for staying in Busan.

I had a fantastic stay at the Fairfield by Marriott Busan. If you're looking for a hotel that offers incredible value for money with an unbeatable location, this is it.
The location is simply perfect. It's just a short 5-8 minute walk to both the beautiful The signature Haeundae Beach and the lively Haeundae Walking Street, you have everything you need for food and shopping right at your doorstep. I was surprised to find so many famous and delicious restaurants within walking distance, whether you're craving grilled eel, abalone congee, or a comforting bowl of pork rice soup (Dwaeji Gukbap) and BBQ pork restaurants, it's all nearby. Even the Haeundae Blueline Park (Sky Capsule) station is an easy walk away. Honestly, everything you want to eat and do seems to be clustered right around this hotel.
A couple of extra conveniences that really stood out: there’s is a convenience store right downstairs in the building, which is great for grabbing snacks or drinks.
Also, the front desk staff were amazing. They were incredibly kind, professional, and spoke excellent English, which made check-in a breeze. We arrived and were able to get into our room immediately without any wait, everything was prepared perfectly.
One small design quirk: the toilet and shower share one single door, it’s a bit of a funny situation, if your friend is taking a shower, you're left with no door if you need to use the toilet lol. That said, this is completely understandable given the room size isn't huge, and it's a smart way to save space. But for the price, the overall value is a solid 10/10. I will definitely be staying here again on my next trip to Busan. Highly recommended!

Sstev.changI stayed here for one night in the Ocean Classic Double room. The location is excellent—it’s only a 3-minute walk to the metro station and perfectly situated between Haeundae and Gwangalli. The view is stunning; you can see the famous Gwangalli Bridge through the floor-to-ceiling windows.
The room is well-equipped, and having a washing machine in the room is a huge plus for longer stays. Overall, the room was mostly clean, though I did notice some stains on the comforter. The front desk staff were very welcoming; even though their English wasn't perfect, they went out of their way to help me. It was a nice experience overall and definitely great value for the money.

KKingMeowthI had a great experience here. Worthy with the price. I have read reviews before I booked and I seriously think those who expects a 5 stars treatment for a 3 stars payment shouldn’t book here.
After reading reviews..
1) I am totally okay with changing lifts and managed my expectations.
2) I brought my own bedroom slippers but amazing they provided, just that it’s not disposable versions and I think that’s totally fine because it’s clean.
3) I brought own toothbrush and toothpaste because I know they won’t provide.
4) I brought own shower gel etc. too but to my surprise, they did provide! Not as per what I’ve read (as per photos)
5) I was also given large towels and was informed during check in that we need to request if we need more and that’s not a problem. Just open mouth to ask for one.
6) I requested and had a reasonable half beach view (cropped photo) as per uploaded image.
Take note, however,
1) that the make-up room and do-not-disturb room buttons can be faulty.. the cleaner came into my room when I didn’t request for my room to be cleaned when I am away from hotel room, but thank goodness nothing was missing. So they actually have honest staff.
2) you do not need a card to access higher levels so anyone can come up. Ladies traveling alone has to be extra careful.
Overall, I’m so glad to give a great thumbs up for
1) a half beach view
2) convenience stores just downstairs
3) so so near to night market !!
4) walkable distance to the Haeundae metro station
5) room is so spacious for 2pax.
I will come again when I visit Busan. Thank you!

TTaiThai0509Would I stay here again? In a heartbeat. Clean rooms and good locations are easy to find, but a staff that remains calm, empathetic, and proactive during a guest's medical emergency is rare. They turned a potential vacation disaster into a manageable situation.
If you’re traveling with kids, stay somewhere like Crown Harbor where the service isn't just professional—it’s genuinely caring.

AAnonymous UserThere was hair on the bed when I checked in, but it was too late and I was too tired to bother asking for a change of sheets. The outer room is very spacious, with a kitchen and a large multi-purpose table. The inner room has a bed and a wardrobe. Breakfast was decent. The beach is just across the road, and there's a snack street right downstairs.

When you open the room door, the odor is so strong
The whole room smell like human waste
You have to open the window to let the smell get away all the time
Whenever we used the toilet it was a torture…
Yet,
THE LOCATION IS PERFECT
THE VIEW FROM THE ROOM IS PERFECT TOO
So please renovate the whole building and I am sure it will be a perfect hotel in Gwangan then.
