Luxury Hotels in Busan

"This hotel is very nice and located in the heart of the city. Very easy to get around with public transportation and taxi/uber. Attached to the Lotte mall, so go die hard shoppers it’s perfect. Many resturants to choose from in vicinity. The Korean bar-b-que was excellent. We did go to several other restaurants and all are pretty good. We had one misfire at burger joint, Tiger Pub, that sold out of burgers? Strange? Gave hotel a couple of four stars. One was that we could not get a late dinner. 10pm every hotel kitchen was closed. Not even room service. And secondly, our room toilet which was otherwise very clean had embedded pee stains in the w/c tiles. Obviously porous tiles but nonetheless not pleasant to look at."

"After moving from the Park Hyatt Busan, I stayed at this hotel in the heart of Haeundae. My ocean view room was a bit small, but the view was fantastic – endless sea and sky, with a bustling beach that connects to a park, making it a great spot for a vacation or a stroll. Plus, it's only a 10-minute walk to Busan's pedestrian street. The hotel staff provided thoughtful and attentive service, making my stay very comfortable. The amenities were comprehensive. This trip to Busan really changed my perception of service in Korea; the past rumors of discrimination against Chinese people seem to be gone. The room, though slightly small, was tastefully decorated, with comfortable bedding and nice toiletries. The bathroom only had a bathtub, no separate shower. Breakfast and the Chinese restaurant offerings were good, a bit pricey but acceptable. Given the recent sharp depreciation of the Korean won, now is a great time to visit Korea."

"Boasting a prime location on Haeundae Beach with breathtaking ocean views, this hotel is impeccably clean and well-maintained. However, what truly sets it apart is the staff; they are incredibly warm, professional, and go above and beyond to assist guests. We recently had a stressful situation where we left an expensive pair of sunglasses in an Uber. We sought help from a gentleman at the front desk (whose name I unfortunately didn't catch), and he was phenomenal. Despite the difficulty of tracking down the driver, he remained dedicated and persistent, following up tirelessly until he successfully retrieved them for us. A huge thank you to him and the entire team for their exceptional hospitality and integrity. "Facilities: Well-equipped. Ambiance: Excellent. We stayed in a new building with a balcony room. Sitting on the balcony, listening to the sound of the waves, gazing at the sea, and sipping coffee was incredibly relaxing. Service: The front desk staff who handled our check-in and check-out were very warm, thoughtful, and professional. Cleanliness: The hotel is very clean and hygienic overall. However, one day, we left in the morning after tidying the bed ourselves, but when we returned in the evening, the bed was very messy. I immediately wondered if housekeeping hadn't cleaned that day. I also questioned why the bed was so messy. So, I checked the trash can, and it had been emptied. Does that mean housekeeping doesn't make the beds??? I then looked closer at the bed and noticed that a small part of the duvet inside the duvet cover was exposed. When we left, the bed was tidied, so why was it so messy when we returned, with part of the duvet exposed? Upon closer inspection, there were bloodstains, which made me feel very uneasy. What could be the reason for this? I even wondered if housekeeping, while tidying the bed, tried to change the sheets, discovered bloodstains on the duvet, and then didn't replace it promptly, or forgot to, or something else? I was very upset at the time and immediately called the front desk to explain the situation. But after waiting a while, no one came up. So I went down to the front desk to explain the situation in person. The front desk staff was very helpful and said that the housekeeper had already gone up to tidy and bring clean linens to the room for replacement, and suggested we go up and check. I went up again and found that the housekeeper had only tidied the bed and hadn't changed anything. I immediately asked the housekeeper, in front of her, ”Didn't the front desk explain the reason clearly to you? Didn't you see that the exposed duvet core was dirty with bloodstains?” I immediately pointed out the spot to her, and she then apologized and said she would immediately bring clean replacements. Sigh..... Overall, the hotel's location, ambiance, and service are all good, and the issue was resolved. Sigh......"

"【Park Hyatt Busan】Stayed in the 'sailboat' of Haeundae, where the floor-to-ceiling windows framed Gwangandaegyo Bridge and the entire ocean. I fell asleep to the sound of the sea breeze and the city lights, experiencing both relaxation and luxury. Environment: The hotel's location is relatively quiet with fantastic views. There's a supermarket downstairs, and a noodle shop and two great cafes very close by, which was quite convenient for a tourist. Facilities: Very new, especially the stunning view outside the floor-to-ceiling windows. I didn't even want to close the curtains at night! Cleanliness: Clean and tidy. Service: Excellent."

"This was my second stay here. Other guests have already posted photos of the interior, so I'll share some details I particularly loved about the resort village itself. I really appreciate the overall design of the resort, how the hotel, the sea, guests, and the environment all blend seamlessly. Sitting in the town square, even breathing feels more natural. My favorite spot was the cafe in the apartment area; the food was delicious, the space was expansive, and the views were incredibly therapeutic ❤️🩹. The staff are super friendly. During my last stay, I unexpectedly started my period. I couldn't find what I needed in the hotel supermarket and felt awkward asking the male staff there, so I went to the adjacent restaurant and asked a female server. She was on duty and couldn't leave her post, but she specifically found a male staff member who was off-duty to take me to the supermarket's personal care aisle. He might have worked at the supermarket before, as he knew exactly where the feminine hygiene products were. He confidently led me there to make my purchase, which really showcased the professionalism of the service. Thumbs up!"

"There are two Wyndham hotels in Busan, and this one, Wyndham Grand, is the newest, located near Songdo Cable Car. Hotel rooms in Japan and Korea are generally on the smaller side, but the room I booked, with one double bed and one single bed, was actually quite spacious. The most amazing thing was that while it wasn't my first time staying in a sea-view room, it was my first time in a sea-view *and* bridge-view room. It felt like I was literally sleeping on the bridge! What's more, this busy bridge even has a pedestrian walkway. There's a dedicated path right next to it – Korean design is truly so user-friendly. The bathroom has a wet and dry area, and the bathtub faces the sea, offering a superb view! The toiletries are packaged inside a book, so exquisitely that you almost don't want to use them. The service upholds the high standards of Japanese and Korean hotels, always making you feel right at home. Because the room cleaning was a bit late, I also had afternoon tea at the bar on the 27th floor. Hotel guests get a discount, and while it wasn't huge, it was better than nothing. Finally, a friendly reminder: the hotel windows are sealed and cannot be opened. Toothpaste and toothbrushes are not provided with the toiletries. Hotel check-in time is 3:00 PM; even if you arrive early and there's an available room, you can't check in ahead of time unless you pay an extra fee."

"Next time, I'd suggest Ctrip try staying here themselves before recommending it to us. Ctrip clearly stated breakfast was included, but upon checking in, we found ourselves directed to a very small restaurant for a simple meal, which was a stark contrast to the buffet breakfast on the first floor. This really impacted our experience. There's a significant price difference between rates with and without breakfast, and Japanese and Korean hotels really value their breakfast offerings. This hotel should ask Ctrip to update their breakfast description – a simple meal is not a proper breakfast."

"This is a serviced apartment, very new and clean. We stayed for four nights in a two-bedroom unit with two double beds. Housekeeping was scheduled every three days, and we could choose the day. It came with modern amenities like an LG Styler, washing machine, built-in refrigerator, a 65 or 75-inch TV (with YouTube access), Nespresso machine, oven, and water dispenser. However, kitchenware, laundry detergent, and dish soap were not provided. It has underfloor heating, and the hairdryer is powerful, making it very suitable for families. The CU convenience store on the first floor often has buy-one-get-one-free deals, which is a great bonus."

"Last year, I stayed at Cove, and this time I decided to try the loft room out of curiosity. Villa is halfway up the mountain, and it's not as popular as Cove by the sea. The room itself is quite beautiful, with high ceilings and spaciousness, and the facilities are relatively new. The bed firmness was just right, but the pillows were too soft, so I ended up using a clean bath towel under the pillow to get some support. The biggest drawback of the loft is that going to the bathroom in the middle of the night is quite inconvenient; you have to go downstairs, and the up and down movement wakes you up halfway. However, there's a player upstairs with really nice Korean songs, which are great for relaxing before bed and work wonders for hypnosis. Another point is that due to the lack of popularity, the restaurant operating hours are short. By almost 8 PM, nearly all of them were closed, with only one barbecue restaurant still open, staffed by a single waiter. The food was decent, but you could only order set meals, and a two-person set was 500+. Overall, it's pretty good and worth experiencing for one night, but Cove still offers better value for money."
